El hotel es muy acogedor. Cerca del tren, a 17 minutos de la estación central de Amsterdam. Hablan español, son muy atentos y no dudan en hacerte sentir bien. Las habitaciones limpias. Cerca de los molinos, atracción turística que es de obligada visita.

Super stay at this fabulous boutique hotel. Friendly check in agent Leon allowed us early access to the room as it was ready. Fabulous view across to the windmills. Continental breakfast was a tasty bonus. The town was noticeably quieter after the day visitors had left, & we had a choice of restaurants.

Clean rooms with beautiful view of the river and Zaanse Schans. Huge lovely bed. Enjoyed our two night stay and vlose to everything in Amsterdam. Just a quick train trip away. Spar across the street. Walking distance from the train station.

Es ist nicht mehr das Hotel, was man aus dem letzten Jahr kennt! Ganz klar ist das die Zimmer und die Lage super sind. Hier gibt es wenig zu bemängeln. Leider hat sich die Gastronomie total verändert und zwar zum Negativen! Als Geschäftsreisender war es mir wichtig ein Hotel zu haben, welches ein Restaurant hat in dem ich Abends etwas nettes essen kann und die wahnsinnig tolle Aussicht genießen kann und morgens ein gutes Frühstück bekomme. Aber leider gibt es das tolle ital. Restaurant nicht mehr. Es ist nun ein Pfannkuchen Haus mit Selbstbedienung. Es würde mich wahrscheinlich nicht sonderlich stören, wenn ich nur einmal hier übernachten würde. Aber alle 2 Wochen nur Pfannkuchen, Toasties und Poffertjes? Kein Salat, keine Suppe, keine Auswahl über Pfannkuchen und Toasties hinaus. Das geht nicht! Gestern war mehr Personal im Haus gefühlt als im letzten Jahr und trotzdem kein Service. Auf der Terrasse wurde ganz offen auch mitgebrachtes verzehrt. Aber kein Wunder, wenn man für 3 Scheiben Toast mit Käse und S*****en und ein paar Poffertjes 15,- € bezahlt!!!! Nun ja habe ich gedacht, dann geh ich demnächst in der Nachbarschaft essen. Nervt und ist keine Dauerlösung, aber ist machbar zumindest ab und zu! Das Frühstück wird es richten..... Aber leider ist das Frühstück noch schlimmer. Eine Etagere vor gepackt für die Anzahl der Personen wird zügig zum Tisch gebracht. In meinem Fall - ein gekochtes Ei, ein Joghurt, ein Aufbackbrötchen (Weizen) und ein labbriges fettiges Croissant, eine Marmelade, Fruchtsalat aus der Konserve, Salz und Pfeffer, eine Sorte je eine Aufschnitt und Käse. Kein Gemüse, keine Auswahl, keine Rücksicht auf evtl. Ernährungsweisen... Einziger Lichtblick - guter Kaffee aus der Siebträger Maschine und meine liebgewonnene Servicekraft aus dem letzten Jahr! ＜3 Ein weiterer Geschäftsreisender kam ebenfalls zum Frühstück und schaute genauso verdattert wie ich. Ich bin hin und her gerissen... Aber das ist für mich nur noch eine Notlösung in Zukunft.

Prima hotel met de Zaanse Schans op loopafstand. Treinstation om naar Amsterdam te gaan ook op loopafstand.
Inchecken gaat online en ook de sleutels van de deuren krijg je online.
Ontbijt kun je afhalen bij de tegenovergelegen SPAR.
Kan zijn dat dit tijdelijk is doordat het restaurant tijdelijk gesloten is.
Ontbijt was verder prima.
Gratis parkeren kan ook achter de SPAR.
Kamers zijn prima en netjes

What a perfect start to our vacation! Hotel Zaan staff was more than helpful, rooms were clean and bright, bed comfortable and breakfast was delicious. All our needs and requests were taken care of quickly. Location to Zaanse Schans and the area couldn’t be better. Highly recommend.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The check in procedure simple and intuitive. The breakfast was nice with a beautiful view from the restaurant. Only complaint the bathroom was very cold compared to the room.

Went with family, for Easter break. The Hotel is next to the river Zaan, so amazing view during breakfast. Peaceful location away from the Amsterdam hectic. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Since it is an Online Hotel, keep an eye on your emails. Next train station 5 mins walk from the Hotel. No Complainsts!
