We chose Parador de Zafra because we were traveling through Spain and it was in the right location to rest that night. But that wasn't the only criterion: it was a historic building, very beautiful, with good conditions and good reviews. We were not disappointed! Even though it is in a castle environment, it has all the comfort conditions, the service was very friendly. Parking was paid.

Muy buena experiencia. El servicio atento y muy amable. La habitación correcta, el desayuno fantástico y el único pero fue la cena (igual la elección de platos no fue acertada). La visita a las almenas del castillo es obligada. Es impresionante !!!

Don’t accept room 222 because it is next the laundry room and they start their day early. The doors are wooden and you can hear that! The parador is a wonderful place with a great patio. You can park in front but you need every day a new voucher (€5). A somewhat guest-friendly solution should be possible. I was overall fine with my stay but was not overwhelmed. Average score, sorry.

El servicio, atención, limpieza, ubicación y desayuno inmejorables. Las habitaciones bien equipadas, pero simples y poco acogedoras. Lo mejor es el castillo donde está ubicado, cuyas almenas se pueden recorrer.

Posizione privilegiata nel centro storico della città che da qui si visita comodamente a piedi. Un'architettura sorprendente: l'immensa cinta muraria , accompagnata da otto robuste torri, rivela la potenza dei Duchi di Feria, gli antichi proprietari che fecero dell' Alcázar la loro residenza. La spaziosa stanza dà sul prezioso patio interno e conserva uno splendido soffitto a cassettoni gotico-mudéjar del XV secolo; materassi e cuscini comodi regalano un buon sonno, interrotto soltanto dagli operatori che svuotano i cassonetti la mattina presto; il bagno è ben attrezzato e pulito. La reception fornisce un biglietto/pass municipale che consente di parcheggiare nelle zone adiacenti l'hotel. Il personale è professionale e cortese.
