The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The cleaners were very good and very bubbly. The rooms were a bit old fashioned but we expected that but they were very roomy. The balcony was a good size. We had gorgeous views of the sea. All in all it was a nice holiday.

Not sure about other negative reviews. Hotel location is amazing. On the seafront (not much beach though) Hotel is a bit dated but the photos are true to what you get. We had a balcony over looking the sea which was at no extra cost. Everything was spotlessly clean though. Maids everyday. Towels changed every day. All staff friendly reception and pool bar staff. The rooftop bar is a little gem but no one seems to use it so it lacks atmosphere and no draft beer. The only issue I have with hotel is that despite it saying no glass around the pool people did take their glasses on their sunbeds. Pool bar should offer plastic cups for sunbed as a glass was broken on poolside but not cleared up properly. Needs a pool attendant as glasses also round the pool from day before The hotel is in the centre of Argassi lots of superb restaurants and bar right on the doorstep. With a refurb this could be a little gem Soulsea beach bar is 2 doors up. It’s a beautiful setting over looking sea good for a lunch and also has sunbeds too

I personally wouldn't come back to purto lliessa hotel in argassi. The cleanliness here is not up to much the cleaner's put folded sheets on the bottom of the beds for you to make up yourselves. there was still crumbs of food on the floor after she left Everything is so outdated by 20yrs this hotel is not a 4 star I would only give it a 2

So, the apartment was a decent size, clean but the main downfall was that on the first night after having a bath and letting water out the whole floor flooded, literally. However this is Greece and the plumbing isn't great. We reported it and it was "fixed". For the whole 7 days the toilet leaked, this was reported and fixed but it wasn't, we had to put towels down to ensure we didn't slip on the leaking water. Air con a bit hit and miss, only on at certain times, only one key given too. We opted for breakfast at extra cost which was adequate. Staff friendly apart from a very frosty receptionist, quite surprising for Greece. Rooftop bar lovely as was the bar man. The pool definitely needs attention, handrail very loose, dangerous for anyone relying on it to enter the pool. Location great, right next to everything including the beach. Would we stay here again, a definite no, to pay £1400 for self catering plus breakfast and having to put towels down because of a permanently leaking toilet really isn't good enough.

As everyone has said the location is fantastic you really are literally on the doorstep of everything. Some things could make this place fantastic... simple things like only allowing 1 key for each room...this makes it more difficult than you think we had an 18 year old in the same room as us and he went out with friends some nights. We asked for another key they wouldn't allow us one. We couldn't leave it in reception as then we'd have been with no air con / electric in the room. Staff weren't bothered. We ended up having to leave the door ajar. Mentioned to jet 2 rep she said its normal... not sure where this is normal I've never come across it? Air con needs updating it does work but its the loudest air con system I've ever heard... I'd take ear plugs just for this. The rooms are large enough they just need updating but they're fine and plenty of space. Balconies are all a good size. Pool needs attention... the handrail is dangerously loose.... we mentioned to reception said they'd not been told....heard someone telling them on the 2nd week we was there...they told them they'd not been told? The white grates around the pool also fall through when you stand on them we tried to fix them ourselves after nothing had been done after telling them. Rooftop bar is great and the barman is lovely Manager is very grumpy walks around giving orders telling children no more than 2 people can play with the ball in the pool?

The only downside to this hotel would be the plumbing but as it was Greece we didn't expect it to the excellent so we didn't allow it to ruin our holiday. I would just warn you to be careful after a shower as the water comes up through the grid in the bathroom and makes the floor slippy. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay. The pool was nice and big, plenty of beds and no mad dashes at 8am to reserve one. We went to the pool around 11am most days and found sun loungers. Pool bar was nice and very friendly. Reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly so ignore the reviews saying the staff weren't nice. I would highly recommend this hotel

We have visited Argassi many times but this was our first visit to Porto lliessa. The best thing by far about these apartments are the proximity to the sea, literally at the back of the pool. Situated right in the middle of town, the pubs and restaurants are outside the front door. The apartments are actually 2 bedroom. Master bedroom is huge, the second bedroom which is also the living room has 2/3 beds in. There is a separate kitchen, we found this ideal. The apartments are dated, basic and in need of a revamp, but it served our purpose. I only saw the swimming pool cleaned once in our 2 week stay, it was rather grubby. Also worth pointing out the deepest part is 3.2mtrs and the dive board isn't in use. The shallow end doesn't stay shallow for long and soon slopes to deeper waters, so be ware if you have young children, the shallow end gets congested. There is a toddler pool. No fight for sunbeams which was great, air con hit and miss and noisy in room. All rooms have either a sea view or a pool view with sea view so you can't have a bad view. Not the friendliest of staff but they were helpful enough. Would stay again.

Part 1 - Can't have more than one key ?#@!*? very odd and inconvenient. Never come across this before but as a jet2 package this seems very substandard and needs to be rectified. This along with a generally grubby setting for tye price means we won't return to this particular hotel. Staff are very lovely so that's was nice.

Just got back from a 10 night stay Lovely hotel on the beach front, 30sec from pool to sea . Location for Restaurants and shops was amazing and we tried most of the nearest Pool was great for the kids but they were disappointed the diving board was closed, the pool depth was designed for this and so the shallower areas were used more Tried the hotel bar a couple of times but most days we were away from hotel Found staff helpful and only had one issue with the Air conditioning and this was soon fixed Lovely roof top bar but most nights it was quiet ,kids loved the pool table We emailed the hotel just after booking and once just before arrival to request a sea view and this was waiting for us Beach ⛱️ area in front of hotel is amazing and reasonably priced water sports a couple of minutes walk up the beach Just seem a post re missing items never happened to us and in fact I left the safe open and know for certain that nothing went missing The Resort is brilliant for famlies and visited both the turtles and shipwreck Bay We never go back to the same resort as the world 🌎 is a big place It's definitely a hotel worth a visit great value for the money we paid thru Jet2
