Overall a lovely place. A few people made it very enjoyable at the bar. Daniella and her colleague Jasmine (Ismini) were wonderful. Engaging and genuine and always greeted you with a smile. In fairness, all the bar staff did but those two stood out both in terms of attitude and effort. I’d agree with other reviews that it’s not beyond a three star hotel. Food is good, varied every night (not a fan of themed nights (French, Chinese etc) but I guess that’s the way of these things), would have liked more Greek options. But quality was good and hot. The pool is nice but too small for the number of rooms. I could imagine it being massively overloaded during the peak periods. Definitely not enough sun beds which then pushes you to the beach which are chargeable. Surroundings are lovely to beach side, a little run down going out on the paths and roads, but I’ve been to the east side of the island before and that was much the same. Drinks wise, beer is fine, the wine takes some adjusting shall we say. More options, even Mythos on tap with chilled glasses as I’ve had before would be a win. Cocktails are pretty good, good selection and certainly felt the effects. Overall, I’d say it’s a good bet early or late season. Facilities are good, the staff we got to know were great. I’d come back probably if it is the same and at a decent price. If they made more sun loungers available and increased the drinks options I’d say very likely. But overall, we had a fantastic time and are thankful for the people we have met and the time we had.
