Athina Apartments

We absolutely love staying at Athina Apartments whenever we go to Kalamaki. Ellie and the team are so nice and helpful from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. Always a cheerful good morning and so nice to the little ones even giving my little boy a toy monkey and sweets upon checking in. The rooms are lovely and clean (basic but typical of anywhere on the island) The pool is an brilliant addition as is the pool bar. It's the perfect place to stay as you are literally just behind the main ***** in the middle so makes for a perfect base :) we can't wait to stay again on our next trip to Kalamaki!

Lovely apartments, basic but very clean and all staff so nice and helpful. Thanks to Ellie and her team. The apartments are situated right on the *****. The pool is a great addition as is the bar area. The apartments were cleaned every day apart from Sundays.

We have been to Kalamaki many times over the years, and have walked passed the Athina Apartments on our visits, so we took the plunge and booked to stay here for 9 nights from the 8th September. The apartments are ideally located. They literally back onto the main ***** in Kalamaki, and are a few minutes walk from the main Kalamaki beach. We stayed in a top floor room, overlooking the pool. The view was great, and lovelly to wake up to in the morning or to enjoy of an evening before venturing out. Because we faced away from the main *****, we did not hear it at all. The rooms are basic, and could do with a little spruce up, but they are clean and comfortable, so that's what is most important. If you are looking to cook in the room, the cooking facilities consist of 2 hot rings and that's it. There is no oven or even a microwave. So you may struggle. But if like us, the only thing we cooked in the room was some toast for breakfast (yes there is a toaster and a kettle) then its fine. The pool area has been recently installed / renovated. Its is a lovely area, however during our entire stay, we did not see any member of staff tidy up the area at all, not even straighten the sun beds at the end of the day. When we had finished using the beds, we always tidied up after ourselves, and straighten the beds up etc, but not everyone did. So the pool area tends to look very untidy at the end of the day, which is such a shame, as it looks very tranquil in the evening, so it would be nice if it looked neat too :-) There is no lift in the hotel, so if you have struggle walking up flights of stairs, we would suggest opting for a ground floor apartment. However these do open up right onto the pool area so privacy will be a factor. The staff were great, and were always at hand should you need them. Would we stay again? Of course we would! In fact we have already booked to return again next September!!

We had a great week at Athina Apartments. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I can thoroughly recommend this place and if we return to Kalamaki this place would be our first choice.

Wow, again amazing service from the whole family, food amazing hospitality second to none, nothing is to much for these guys , can't wait to see you all next year, thank you Athena, Dennis, Ellie, George and Alex, all booked and raring to go. So excited.

We are a family of 5 and we stayed for a week. Very friendly all, good facilities and the building has a very good location near supermarket and restaurants. They also allowed us to used the pool during night which was awesome

We had the most wonderful holiday at the Athina. The staff weee first class. So helpful, happy and genuinely lovely people. Nothing was ever a problem for them. Our two apartments weee as promised next door to each other. They had everything we needed to make our holiday very special. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to my mum being very poorly back home. Everyone was so kind helping us get sorted with boarding passes and getting packed up etc. We were so sad to leave early but very happy to say we’ve already booked to return next year. If you book you will defo not be disappointed. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Stayed at Athina Apartments in Kalamaki for 2 weeks with 22 family and friends, some that have never been before but all want to go back! From the moment of booking Ellie is so helpful, Athina on arrival too, Alex, George and Dennis who ran the pool bar were all amazing and between them all, absolutely made our holiday extra special, the apartments and studios are spacious, pool and sunbed area great, the location is fantastic for the ***** and the beach, seriously cannot wait to go back next year.
