We visited on a Sunday, the following day was a holiday, so it was very busy. Actually, much busier than I would have thought allowed with covid restrictions, many appeared to have booked rooms. With it being so busy, you'd think they would be strictly enforcing restrictions, but that wasn't the case, their waiting staff weren't even wearing masks. I wonder what precautions they were taking for food preparations. We were there because of the whole day electrical blackout in the area, to relax and eat. We ordered a variety of foods, including hummus with falafel. There were two or three so called Israeli dishes on the menu too. Having worked in Iraq, Qatar, Dubai and Jordan, I have a pretty good idea what authentic hummus, falafel and the bread should be like. The hummus was fairly good, if a little on the bland side, bread was good though not authentic. The falafel was strange, I've only every had it in balls, these were like medallions and rather overcooked. The rest of the food was typical Filipino dishes and ok, with being anything special. Prices were reasonable and portions were good enough.

The location of the hotel is far from the city centre of Dumaguete, but it is close to the apo island where the turtles are seen, about a fifteen-minute tutu ride. There is no commercial area around, there is no place to go shopping, you can only spend time in the hotel ~ the hotel is near the sea, the next step can reach the seaside hotel, the environment is very good, the facilities are beautiful and clean; There is a swimming pool to play with, the hotel staff is very warm, and the dining is delicious. I want to focus on the boss's homemade ”Chili Ginger Honey Water” (Figure 2). This is the name I gave it. Hahahaha, really unique and very good to drink! The local weather was very hot. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the boss gave us a cup of wine. After a sip, I fell in love with it. It was so hot and so hot that we had a few drinks every day for two days at the hotel. Haha, really great! Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the boss how to make it. I came back and tried to make it up, but I always felt that I didn’t mean anything. There are a lot of choices for breakfast, and the lunch and evening meals are also richer and the price is moderate. The environment is still very good. It is said that watching the sea is considered to be the best view. The sea view room is set, and the sea is directly outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. There are not many rooms in the hotel, but it is still difficult to book. The boss and waiters are very good. We got up late on the last day, and the boss directly checked out until 2 o'clock.
