Hotel with good structure, overlooking the Marina (no beach access). Unfortunately the pool was closed and they gave the option to use the spa pool.

The hotel is enormous and seemed beautiful, there were signs (I presume) that had been removed on the entrance facade, and not cleaned up, that immediately made me a little concerned. The hotel seemed beautiful though, if a little lifeless. There is NO ALCOHOL available, which I respect, but it is definitely a negative mark for me. But then when I got home from dinner, had a shower and grabbed a towel, there was an entire termite nest in the towel. Literally hundreds of termites everywhere and all over me. They had clearly not been cleaned or swopped in weeks. It was truly disgusting, and I slept very badly imagining them crawling all over me. I told the reception in the morning and they laughed at it in shock. A manager then came and asked if he could see the photos and inspect the room, I showed him and said sure, I didn't even get so much as an apology. I am in Zanzibar for work often, and will not be back!

The hotel has a great view 💜 and the services are very good. The SPA, Restaurant, Rooms aah everything Not mentioning the health and variety of foods. Would recommend you to visit the hotel and enjoy every tip and places in the hotel

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! All rooms with an ocean view. An amazing pool. Children's water world with mega slide and so on. A fabulous gym and spa. Delicious food. Alcohol free. Only 4km from Stone Town.

The staff was very nice. The food was good. The rooms were nice.
Our only complaint was that we paid for three nights at over $300 a night but when we departed after two nights, the hotel refused to refund us for the last night. We’ve never had that happen before and it certainly soured our experience there. It would definitely make it difficult for us to refer it to other people.

Very nice and attentive staff, always friendly and helpful. We did not stay at the hotel, but came several times to the restaurant. Very nice and attentive staff, always friendly and helpful. The buffet is very rich and beautifully arranged, omelettes, pancakes and waffles are freshly prepared to order. Everything is very delicious. We will come back.
