I dont want to write a review of this place as it will spoil it. Someone else wrote "hidden gem" and that is exactly correct. Wonderful calming place to stay outside of Kutaisi in the countryside near to Okatse Canyon and waterfalls. The owners produce their own wine. Food is very good Lots of local farm animals wander into the gardens.

Обычно не пишу отзывы, но после пребывания в Шато хочу рассказать, как долгожданный отдых оставил неприятное послевкусие. Пишу объективно, честно. Сама гостиница, территория, номера 10 из 10. Место шикарное, много зелени, вокруг горы, пруд с форелью, виноградники и домашняя скотина. Теперь о маленьких неприятностях. Забронировали номер за пол месяца до приезда. Написали на эл.почту, администратор подтвердила наше бронирование на номер Люкс с балконом. По приезду оказалось, что в гостинице никого нет, и нас там не ждали. Девушка ухаживающая за домом, позвонила хозяину, и проводила нас в номер. Номер был без балкона. Мы сразу сказали, что бронировали другой. Она снова позвонила хозяину, и отвела в номер с балконом. Почему нам не предоставили его сразу в пустой гостинице не понятно. Вечером приехал сам хозяин. Пригласил нас на экскурсию по гостинице, с историей о своём роде. Угостил бокалом домашнего вина. Мы хотели уйти в магазин и купить там вина. Хозяин нас убедил что вино там ужасное, и лучше пить вино у него. Сидя в номере на балконе около 8 вечера, хозяин покричал нам, что нужно спускаться заказывать ужин, иначе кухня закроется. Так рано? Но, Бог с ним, побежали. Во время ужина мы попросили один графин вина, он принёс два и пожелал приятного вечера. Все было идеально. На след утро перед выездом, нам предоставили счёт за ужин, который был выше, чем в любом шикарном ресторане в Грузии.( два стандартных блюда, хачапури, вино(18 лари за литр)) Оставив 80$, поспешили уйти, но пришли пара, которая просто хотела купить вина. На что, уважаемый хозяин сказал им «Настоящий грузин не может продавать вино, он должен угощать вином бесплатно!» Налил им бутылку вина при нас, пожелал им счастливого пути и мы удалились))).Все это мелочи, но лицемерие хозяина нас расстроило, и мы не поняли за что так хвалят грузинское гостеприимство, пока не встретили настоящих искренних людей в дальнейшем нашем путешествии.

Nothing close to a 5-stars hotel. Could get maximum 2. And the room and bathroom smelt like hell of waste. Very poor service. And a lot more to comment ... We finally better left after only 1 night ...
