I would avoid this one like the plague. It’s more akin to a hostel connected to the hotel 2 doors down. Rude and impatient staff, atrocious check-in, but worst of all: no internet at peak times (mornings and evenings). Really, in 2024?

Pros: The room was as described, staff at the restaurant were very helpful and attentive to our request as we were the only vegetarians it seemed. They made sure we got one hot vegetarian meal. Iliya was the one who always helped.
Cons: There was no communication on check-in been dont at the other Hotek Latini and we had to move our large suitcases around.
There was no coffee maker in the room.

It is important to know that there are two hotels here. Check-in is at the neighboring hotel called Latini. Breakfast is also served here.
The room in the Schütthof is really nicely furnished, the furnishings are relatively new, the mattresses are good.
A bit tight on space, you could only open a suitcase if you blocked the door.
Unfortunately there was no refrigerator.
On the first night we were kept awake for a long time by a very annoying humming noise. We don't know where it came from, but we think it was ventilation from the neighboring room. Luckily we couldn't hear it on the second night.
The highlight is the great breakfast in the neighboring hotel. Really tasty, lots of choice, great.
All in all, we'd be happy to come back - we liked the location.

Great hotel in this category. Everything was great. The spa area deserves special mention. It is sensational. Located on the fourth floor, great view. Super stylish. Would also be something for a six-star hotel.
And we'd love to come back soon

We spent three nights here, travelling with a group. A wonderful place to stay: rooms lovely and with great character, bottled water provided (no kettle sadly, but that is normal abroad), the food excellent with fantastic choices. The lake is a 15 minute walk away (in the direction of Zell) and Zell itself probably 30 minutes on foot along the lakeside. If we ever go back that's where we'll stay.
