We were in Zell am See for "3 days of relaxation" - and chose the "Gast House" in particular because of the spa area and a "3 for 2" offer. The hotel is very new, clean and the staff very friendly - the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. In the spa area there are 2 saunas and unlimited fresh towels. The pool is small - but after a hike or sauna it is a nice experience until dinner. Everything is very clean and well maintained! We will certainly spend a few nice (hiking) days there again soon.

We stayed at the Hotel the Gast House Zell am See for 4 nights. We were there before check-in time and it was a really uncomplicated check-in. We took the dog for a walk and were then able to go into the hotel room before check-in time. The really friendly and relaxed welcome was underlined by the warm welcome given to our dog (water bowl, treats, big dog bed provided in the room). The price-performance ratio was absolutely right! Great location and everything was very chic. The whole hotel was very tastefully decorated and a consistent style extended to the wellness area. Since we were there between times and not much was open (which wasn't too bad for us though), we used the wellness area every day. The area is perfectly adequate for one or two sauna sessions and a cool down in the pool! Again, very nicely laid out and very cozy. We really enjoyed it!! Everyone was super friendly and we will definitely come back. Many thanks to the team!

Nice, new hotel in a good location. Attractive interior, large, clean and comfortable room with a chic bathroom. Friendly staff. There is definitely room for improvement at breakfast. Hardly any fresh cold cuts, the pancakes dried out and cold, the cheese wavy and dry. However, there is a very tasty selection of bread. We left two days early due to the onset of winter, as nothing was open during the season break. We were told, without explanation, that we could not be offered a refund. I spent my big birthday there and was disappointed with the weather anyway. It is not anyone's fault. However, I would have liked the hotel management to be more accommodating, as the hotel bill was paid in full in advance. A hotel voucher issued that includes a minimum stay of three nights as a ruse is a bad joke.

Very nice and warm welcome, the ladies in the whole hotel were very friendly, courteous and helpful, we had an upgrade when we arrived, thank you again for that, the breakfast was very good, "TOP" there was nothing missing, the room was very clean and the whole hotel was new and very modern, the wellness area is very small but nice, (very) small indoor pool would have been great if it had massage jets and maybe an overhead waterfall so you could spend more time in it, unfortunately we couldn't use the sauna because I had a cold, the relaxation area definitely looked very cozy, we can only warmly recommend the hotel, we would be happy to come back 😊☺️ thanks again to the team at The Gast House Zell am See, keep it up 👏👍

Our stay was very nice, the room with bathroom was great for a short stay. We particularly liked the little alcove with a fridge, coffee machine, dishes and washing up. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Very friendly staff, especially at reception. Online check-in and check-out was great.

The location is perfect, very central, but still pleasantly quiet. We felt very comfortable as a family, but couples and solo travelers will also be happy here. Everything is so uncomplicated and perfectly organized, all the rooms and the spa are very stylishly decorated and yet totally cozy. Extremely nice staff! That's how a newly opened hotel should be! The good: - location - recently renovated - free saunas & dipping pool The bad: - unpleasant staff - noisy bed - not enough sound insulation from hallway / neighbors The nail in the coffin was parking. The underground garage had this “system” where you park your car in a metal cage and a machine hoists it up to make space for more cars. Sounds smart, until the machine breaks and your means of transportation is suddenly locked in a cage with no way to get it out. Instead of ordering us a cab, staff suggested we take a bus 🤦♂️ This whole incident made us miss our restaurant reservation & a birthday party about 15min drive away. In the end we were told that it was our fault because we parked the car the wrong way around. Our car and 3 other cars.. Well, if our tiny rental car can break your machine, that’s worth thinking about.
