We spent a week in the hotel in a family room (two connecting rooms facing the lake) with half board. Positive things: 1. Fantastic location, immediately next to the lake and 5-10 minutes walk to the center. 2. Private beach with sufficient sunbeds and umbrellas, kayaks and sups free of charge. The lake and the mauntain view is fantastic from the room and the terrace. 3. Rooms are very well cleaned every day. 4. Breakfast on the hotel's open terrace is fantastic. 5. Lot of programme opprtunities nearby - Zell am See Kaprun Summer Card is included. Negative things: 1. Parking - we could park only 2x near the hotel, otherwise we had to search for free parking places about 5-10 (!) minutes away from the hotel. There are about half parking places compared to the number of rooms. 2. Train: just next to the hotel. 3. Food: very avarage breakfast (probably not up to 4* standards) - Dinner: They serve a starter, a soup, a main course (you can choose from a meat, fish or vegetable dish) and a dessert. Belive or not, but we had to eat bread and butter (!) as a starter every day to make sure that we don't left hungry!! The salad bufet is absolutly basic, every day 6 types of the same. The soups are mostly made out of vegetables and don't have any taste. The main course is really small portion and without any taste again. Overall the dinner is not ideal for kids and for those who love to eat tasty, normal size dishes. 4. The typical and always seen Austrian welcome and friendliness was almost entirely missing - save for certain exemptions.
