Service and check-in staff unfortunately not particularly friendly and helpful; the quality and selection of breakfast are unfortunately below expectations or standards in this price range. The wellness area is new, but unfortunately there is a noisy thoroughfare to the pool

We had the 3 room apar**ent. Very spacious large balcony with super beautiful view! Large, extensive kitchen. We did take the toppers off the bed, so it was much better! Lots of cupboard space. Large bathrooms. Lidl on the corner! Delicious food in the restaurant, highly recommended. Spa and swimming pool, wonderful water temperature

Dear Mr Oberortner, first of all, I don't stay in hotels as a hobby, but have spent around 45 weeks in hotels over the last few years. As a Diamond Select customer, I'm not likely to be able to stay in Best Western's signature hotels. Last year alone, I spent 6 months in the Grand Hotel in Grenoble. The seal of approval for this classification was the reason I used 40,000 points for a superior room including breakfast. At first it was supposed to be 36,000 points, but the BW booking hotline promised me an unforgettable view of the mountains for 4,000 more points... The evening before I arrived, I called to reserve a parking space in front of the entrance because I have a severe disability and a blue ID card. When I arrived, all the parking spaces were taken, and I was lucky that a guest drove away. So much for "customer wishes..." The young lady at the reception was the only thing I could say was pleasant and positive during my stay. I then went to the little room on the ground floor, there is no other way to describe it. I had to remove the armchair to get to the terrace between the bed and the desk. The clear view of the mountains was probably wishful thinking on the part of the hotel management. All I saw was a terrace surrounded by tall cypresses. I then complained about the narrowness of the room at reception and assumed that they had made a mistake with the room type. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case; there was actually supposed to be a small room of this type. The young lady then gave me a kind of apar**ent whose space was almost too big for me. Unfortunately, the furnishings were minimalistic; there was a refrigerator, but it was empty. Otherwise, they had cut corners on absolutely everything. Cosmetics in the bathroom were limited to a used and open plastic bag with a cotton pad. That was it; there was nothing, absolutely nothing. I went to a private appoin**ent and then took a look at the menu. These dishes matched the price structure of the rooms seamlessly: UNREASONABLY HIGH, even for a hotel. For comparison, I work in Villach and am staying at the Hotel Warmbader Hof (5 stars). I have the choice between an apar**ent with 2 bedrooms or a very large room. The price includes access to the thermal baths and the huge water park, price per night INCLUDING breakfast €100. After returning to the hotel late in the afternoon, I went to reception at 7:20 p.m. to ask for a small, hard pillow, which is what BW is famous for. After 20 minutes of waiting in vain, I gave up (just like 2 other guests) and asked the wait staff for help, but they were busy serving in the restaurant. Not only did none of these people speak German, I can also communicate in several other languages, no, they were extremely annoyed that I was disturbing them. You could also have called it very unfriendly.

Very nice hotel with great wellness and pool area. The rooms are big but the reception and bar closes at 21:00 . We arrived at that our and they soon closed everything. The wellness is open only in the evening until 8 PM but the outside heated pool is open from morning and you can have a nice swim even if it's freezing outside.

The hotel is in a great location with lots of activities in the area, surrounded by picturesque mountains. A free parking lot/underground garage, the spa area with outdoor pool and breakfast round off the whole experience. The rooms are very modern, totally clean and all equipped with rituals. The staff were also friendly. Unfortunately it was a bit loud because there were two groups of young people there at the time who took over everything. But that wasn't the hotel's fault.

I stayed there for 4 nights on business. Nice, big room with a great view of the mountains. Great. Big bed with a full-length mattress, about 180cm wide, extremely soft. If you lie too close to the edge you fall out. You could only sleep in the middle of the bed if you weighed over 95 KG ;) Didn't sleep well that night. The house itself is nice with a very good breakfast. The wellness area?! Never seen it like that before. Positive now in winter, the heated outside pool is very nice to do a few laps in. But now for the thing that I wouldn't praise as much as on the website, about how cozy it is. But that might also have been because it was holiday, as there were lots of families with children, from small to teenagers. EVERYONE who wants to go to the pool has to go through the sauna/relaxation area and then up a flight of stairs. There is no peace and quiet there and as an adult you wonder whether it would be better to go naked with all the hustle and bustle of the children. Lots of children also use the sauna, heated seats, etc. I personally went with my clothes on because the saunas had big glass fronts and everyone walked past them. EVERYONE. What a shame. Very uncomfortable if you like using a wellness area. Not because I'm anti-child, I have children myself. But you just have to plan for it during the holiday season. Otherwise, I think you can put up with it. Children do what they want outside in the pool because they are unsupervised by their parents who are in the wellness area. Posted pool rules then permanently become invalid and nobody cares. So, in conclusion. Nice hotel with a very good breakfast on the edge of a commercial area that is easy to visit outside of the holidays. Lots of supermarkets and shops within walking distance because of the location. Free underground parking. Thumbs up for that.

The hotel is very modern and well equipped. We had a double room, which was small but absolutely adequate. The beds were quite soft, but this was not a problem for us. The breakfast was manageable, but very good quality. It left nothing to be desired. We had not booked half board and unfortunately we were only able to see the evening menu in the late afternoon and only sometimes reserve a table. Apart from the daily menu and pizza, no dishes were available. Unfortunately, the dishes were a little lightly seasoned for our taste and often cold. The wellness area was very nice, but children also use the playground a lot, so you have to lower your expectations of a classic wellness area.

Amazing hotel.  The hotel seems to be pretty new. And all facilities are beautifully made.Breakfast is very good. Dinner ok. Got upgraded and got a very nice big room. Everybody was very happy. Parking in the basement was so nice. Charged our car as well. Only 5 min. walk to the ski lift. No problem. We would like to come back. Ideas to work on:Better sound in the restaurant. With 100 people there, the decibel level was close to 100. Better acoustics are needed!Peter in restaurant is the best. Upgrade him!

Wonderful people looked after us at this lovely spa hotel, close to the ski lift. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time with good ambience, engaging staff and fine food. Only improvement we would suggest is to not charge for a dishwasher tablet! Having spent good money to stay in a suite for a special holiday it seemed a bit strange that we would be charged 2 euro extra !? Special thanks to Peter, Ivan, Laura, Bruno and Matej for their help and kindness.
