Guten tag Lebzelter team and family Schandlbauer. Thank you very, very much for the wonderful stay (20 -28 Dec 2023). We had two adjoining rooms as requested and the room arrangement worked perfectly for us. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and warm, and the views spectacular. The couch was a favourite after a long day of skiing and the shower was always hot. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, we really appreciated the arrangements for Chris**as eve dinner, and the biscuits in the lobby were a nice touch. The staff were always friendly and helpful (Hallo Michaela!) and we spent several evenings in the corner bar enjoying the gulasch soup and the a**osphere. The hotel itself is picturesque and perfectly situated in the town. It really was a magical experience. We would highly recommend Hotel Lebzelter and would love to visit again in future.

Just arrived back from a great stay at Hotel Lebzelter. The hotel is in a perfect location for everything required on a ski holiday, lifts and hire shops are within 5 minutes walk and the local bars, restaurants/cafes are on your doorstep. We stayed as half board. The breakfast was the same each day, which included various cereal, meats, cheese and hot drinks. In a morning you would choose your evening meal which normally consisted of an Austrian dish, an international dish and a vegetarian dish. We normally opted for the international dish and cannot fault the quality and taste. Our room had recently been renovated and modernised, it was very clean and housekeeping was available when required. The hotel also had a dedicated drying room for ski equipment, which meant your boots etc dried out ready for the next day. Staff were very helpful and did everything they could to advise and help when required. As a younger couple we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying 👍

We stayed at the Hotel Lebzelter in March. In all honesty we were expectation a reasonable hotel with ok food and service. What we got was so much more. The staff were absolutely fantastic, from check in, to the bar to service when eating and everything in between. They were so friendly and chatty (without being intrusive). The food at breakfast and supper was delicious and well prepared with a choice of main meal. We were expecting the rooms to be like other similar Austrian hotels but they have clearly been upgraded - clean and well maintained. The history of the hotel is also interesting with the Cavern bar in the cellar full of history. The hotel also has a sauna / steam room / mini spa which is open at 4pm for guests to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit.

A great family run hotel central to shops, buses, lifts, train station, bars, and cafes. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed trying the traditional Austrian dishes and breakfast provided a good selection of food to set us up for the day. There is a sports bar and cellar bar, and we also made use of the lounge available just for guests. Would highly recommend.

If there were more stars we would give them. This is a quaint family run Austrian-style hotel right in the middle of Zell. It’s about 5-10 mins walk from the City Express lift and has been in this family for many years. We stayed to ski for a month. The family and all staff were friendly and professional and everything ran like clockwork. The meals were all lovely with traditional Austrian, international and vegetarian choices. As is often the case in Austria there is no hot drink facilities in the well appointed rooms. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful; bar and restaurant staff were all friendly and good at their jobs. There was great daily room service with clean towels and room service - and lots of hot water! There is a little traditional bar on the ground floor and a lively cellar bar too. There is also a small relaxation/sauna area in the basement. We had a wonderful stay and cannot thank everyone there enough. Like many others we spoke to, I’m sure we will return to this deservedly popular hotel in a great location and highly recommend this pleasant and comfortable hotel.

Heerlijk ontbijt. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

We stayed here for a week and loved this hotel. It is very centrally located with shops , bars and restaurants all close by. Our room was large with the most wardrobe and cupboard space ever in any hotel. There was a step up to the shower room and in the shower itself which was sometimes a little awkward. The bed was comfortable and despite being in the centre of the town, there was no noise so we always had a good sleep. Breakfast was buffet style with a great selection of meat, cheese and breads. We loved every dinner. Although the helpings weren't huge, they were enough for us. The pork steaks were the best I've ever eaten. We used the sports bar a couple of times. It's got a great selection of sport memorabilia but it quite small. All the staff were lovely and helpful and made our stay really special. A fantastic hotel which we'd gladly return to.

We stayed at this family run hotel in 1997 and enjoyed our stay then, this time was the same or even better. An excellent location within Zell-an-See. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful, the room clean and the food choices good. We were provided with a Summer card allowing free travel on the local routes on the bus, train, cable cars and boats across the lake, plus entry to the three lidos around the lake. We can not praise this hotel highly enough and thank them all for a wonderful stay.
