Positive: Pleasant and friendly check-in. Beautiful spa with steam baths and saunas. Solid, stylish furnishings in the hotel and in the rooms. Negative: Long waiting times between courses at dinner. Other guests were served first for the various courses, even though they were seated much later. It seems that the courses were served to the guests aimlessly.

This is a fantastic hotel, but there are a couple of small issues that I feel are not commensurate with a 5-star hotel. Firstly, they are unable to provide a hot chocolate without nuts (which is frustrating as the parent of an allergic child). Secondly, they charge for ketchup, citing sustainability, when they offer a breakfast buffet, which just seems a contradiction. The Staff are wonderful, but after two visits, we won’t be going back.

I spent a holiday at the Posthotel at the end of February. I wanted to travel and ski in different regions. The location of the hotel is excellent. You can reach the main ski areas by car without any problems. The hotel is impressive. Built entirely from natural materials. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. I received a more expensive room as a compliment from the hotel when checking in. Excellent breakfast. The quality of the materials and work in building the hotel is of the highest standard. A small disadvantage is the garage. Very small and with a problematic entrance from the main road.

I had great four nights in this modern hotel with the friendliest staff. Room was modern with nice alpine lodge twist. Hotel was very quiet with mostly families visiting for ski holiday. Breakfast was excellent, although I would deduce half a point if I could for breakfast starting time. Breakfast starts fairly late at 7.15, which is too late if you want to be early on the slopes. Especially if you are going to Hintertux glacier with public transport. The train towards Mayrhofen leaves at 7.30. If only breakfast started 15 minutes earlier, it would be possible to have a quick breakfast and still catch the train. They will still pack you a couple of sandwiches, an apple and bottle of water if you miss the breakfast. Spa was a delight after a long day on the slopes - especially the sauna by the pool.

Nice 5 star hotel with some limitations. Very friendly staff with good food and a great atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner plentiful. Spa area far too small for such a great hotel. More than 4 people in the two saunas in the basement was tight. Too few loungers and mini pool

If this is a 5 star hotel then I don't know what it is! We visit 5 star hotels several times a year but this misses everything! The reception already went wrong. 2 girls in their internship period have to do everything. The room is a jumble of furniture that doesn't match. We booked the sky loft... I don't expect any pots and pans there... no offer of fruit or water or anything like that... dinner could also be booked extra for an additional charge on top of the main price! This really made no sense! Fondue in a 5 star restaurant…? The staff did their best but were overworked because there was a shortage of staff... so the Egger family: don't let your hotel go under and put on your own work clothes. Your family a few hundred meters with fewer stars is doing much better! I really don't understand how they got this ranking...

This is a beautiful boutique property that offers a comfortable stay with excellent dining options. The cosy and green restaurant serves excellent breakfast and dining options. The staff members are very helpful and efficient. The view from the top floor is great!

I'm not much of a reviewer, but we had an absolutely wonderful stay at DasPostHotel that I felt compelled to share our experience. We were greeted by the front desk with a welcome drink while all of our luggage was brought to our room, our car was moved, and we were given a tour of the hotel amenities. After settling in, we decided to enjoy the spa at the adults only sister hotel across the street (35 euro/person extra) and had a very relaxing experience. Both the spa at the hotel and the one at the sister hotel have sections that require patrons to be fully nude, and while this was a new experience for us as Americans, we got past the abundance of bare bodies quickly and very much enjoyed the saunas and steam room. Besides the spa, the food and staff were fantastic, there is amazing hiking nearby in the off season, and it's only a two hour drive from Munich. We can't wait to visit again!
