Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel

The room arrangement was great – away from the elevator, quiet, and on a high floor with an excellent night view.

There's a Sam's Club and Wanda Plaza nearby. It's a small, quiet city, perfect for a weekend getaway.

Suddenly calmed down and saw the nail clippers, which reminded me to write a review. Check-in was quite welcoming at the front desk, and the room was decent. When I returned from an outing, I noticed someone had entered the room and added nail clippers. I guess they saw the tags on my new clothes and thoughtfully provided them. However, the food at the Executive Lounge needs improvement. Compared to other Renaissance or sister hotels, the afternoon tea and other offerings were not as rich, with limited fruit and pastries.

Staying at the hotel during the May Day holiday was incredibly busy, yet everything was remarkably well-organized. Since there was a queue at the front desk, we went to the lounge to check in. We were assisted by Tia, the lounge manager. We had booked two rooms, and as my husband is a Platinum member but I booked through Ctrip, I asked her if it was possible to get two complimentary lounge accesses. Given how crowded the lounge was, she offered us a discounted rate and kindly advised us to dine during off-peak hours to avoid queues. The food in the lounge was also very abundant and delicious; despite the crowd, dishes were refilled very quickly. We are very grateful to her; it was clear a lot of thought and preparation went into handling the holiday rush. We will definitely choose to visit again during a non-holiday period next time to fully experience it.

April's service at the Executive Lounge was truly impeccable, and I must commend her! Every time I visited the lounge during my stay, she greeted me with such warmth and just the right amount of attention. Her genuine kindness, gentle demeanor, and incredibly soothing smile instantly made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Whether it was her recommendations for food and drinks or her prompt response to my dining needs, everything was meticulous, thoughtful, and thoroughly professional. Whenever I had questions, she patiently answered them and actively helped coordinate solutions, being proactive and attentive throughout. Her dedicated service elevated my entire stay, making me truly feel at home. I will definitely choose this place again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! Flawless, practically nothing to fault. I've stayed at both the Marriott Zhangjiagang and the Marriott Munich, Germany, and honestly, China is so much better than Europe and the US. Glad I wasn't born Caucasian. Hope to have the chance to stay in a corner suite next time.

The Marriott Zhangjiagang is very good. Although there were a few minor issues, they were resolved perfectly for me. A special thank you to the Front Office Manager, Stuart, for his thoughtful and reasonable approach, and for handling problems quickly and effectively. It was a very pleasant stay.

The front desk service was great! Our room was on a high floor, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good too; this time, the stir-fried vegetables weren't overcooked, which I appreciated! Also, there were a lot of international guests at the hotel; I barely heard any Chinese during breakfast.

The hotel is right next to a shopping mall, which makes dining and drinking very convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I really loved the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows. The executive lounge used to serve a whole big cake, which was delicious, but now they've switched to small desserts that aren't as good.
