My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay at Annica. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly, attentive staff who immediately took care of our luggage, treated us to a beautiful afternoon tea, and ensured everything was seamless throughout our stay. A special and heartfelt mention must go to Lyra, who truly made our experience exceptional. She worked tirelessly to organise all our tickets and tailor our itinerary to suit the weather and how we felt each day. When plans needed to change due to poor weather, Lyra handled everything effortlessly. Each evening, she took time to sit with us, review the next day’s plans, and make sure we felt relaxed and prepared. She was consistently friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Lyra is a true asset and an inspiration to anyone in the service industry. Our room at Annica was stunning, with breathtaking mountain views, a dreamy bathtub complete with a complimentary bath bomb, and a comfortable living space where we enjoyed watching Avatar in the evenings after dinner. The food at Annica was divine—fresh, flavourful, beautifully prepared, and authentically delicious. We also adored Juju the cat, who added an extra layer of warmth and charm to our stay. A perfect location to visit Zhangjiajie and do all activities! The staff and host are so accommodating (especially thank you Lyra!) helped us book everything. We booked the family room and it was very comfortable and view of the mountains on both sides! I definitely recommend you to book here. They speak great English as well.

The hotel is perfectly located, literally 5 mins far from the middle gate. Particularly useful to get access to Golden Whip Stream and other major viewing points. The room was tidy and very big. The staff was very accommodating and cheerful with a special mention to our concierge Lyra who literally saved and rearranged our itinerary making sure to get hidden gems of the park and avoiding big crowds. She has been a real game changer in our trip. recommended stay 👍🏻

My family and I had a lovely stay at Annica. What sets this hotel apart from bigger chain hotels is the staff’s attitude towards their clients. They are all very warm and welcoming, not to mention hard working. One staff in particular deserves a special mention - Xiao Gao - she is so hardworking and willing to please that she made special arrangements for my family to have early breakfast since our tour started very early one day during our stay. My family really appreciated this since the staff had to start work earlier, just for us 🙏🏻 She truly is an asset to the Annica team. We also love the resident cat, JiuJiu, who is adorable 🥰

Annica is such a convenient hotel, located a few minutes walk to the middle gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest. It is nestled in the mountains and provides a quiet place to relax and wind down after hiking! The rooms are spacious and have heated flooring - so amazing!! Lyra was extremely helpful throughout our stay! She reached out before our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed when we got there. She is also very knowledgeable about the park and provided us with maps and information so we could efficiently plan out our visit. Anytime we had questions, Lyra was there to answer them!
