I booked two rooms and was satisfied with this stay. The hotel is in a convenient area of Zhangjiajie city, with easy access to the cable car area and nearby attractions. There are many local food options around, and it is easy to get a taxi to Zhangjiajie High-Speed Railway Station.
Simple, comfortable, and good value for the price. A good choice for travelers who want a practical place to stay.

Location was great as it was 5 minutes walk away from the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car Station and there are many eateries nearby but it is still quiet and easy to sleep.
Room and toilet were very clean.
Lady staff explained clearly the route and sights to see in Tianmen Mountain and the male staff explained where to take the bus to Zhangjiajie West station.
I think the window couldn't be closed fully so it felt cold in the toilet but otherwise everything was great :)

Location: The guesthouse's location is excellent. It's just a 5-minute walk across the road to the Tianmen Mountain entrance. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, so you definitely won't go hungry.
Overall: The room was clean, and the hot water supply for showering was stable. We visited in winter when temperatures were around 4-5 degrees Celsius, so the heater was crucial, and it warmed the entire room sufficiently.
Summary: The owners are very friendly and welcoming. There's no elevator, so you'll need to use the stairs, but the owner helped us with our luggage. They also helped us purchase tickets for Tianmen Mountain and the Forest Park at a slight discount, which saved us the hassle of buying them ourselves and a little money.
P.S.: The Hunan restaurant on the same row as the guesthouse is absolutely delicious!

Nice room in the heart of the City, close to the cable station, ideal to visit Tianmen mountain. I took the smallest room and it was ok. Good value for money. Owners were kind and willing to help if needed.

Mr and Mrs Dou were amazing!!!! Please stay with them!! Superb locationnnnn! They knew everything from where to eat, how to do the HIKES, best routes and how to do all the things the chinese way. They really made me feel at home as if I was apart of the family. They really care and help with their local knowledge. My favourite part was gossiping over bitter melon tea. I did the hikes the best way, saw amazing theatre and had delicious food all because of them. They truely care. One of the best stays I have ever had. Xie xie Dou!
