I’m so glad I chose this hotel as the starting point of my trip to Zhangjiajie. I arrived late and exhausted, and my first instinct was to complain about the bed. But instead of being upset, the hotel owner provided me with an extra soft quilt that made a world of difference. Incredible hospitality.
The hotel owner is by far the best guide I've encountered in China. As a solo traveler with no knowledge of Chinese, navigating can be challenging, but he made everything much easier. He helped me with tickets, directions, and gave plenty of recommendations for things to do and avoid. He even stood with me at the bus station and opened video calls to ensure I took the right bus, and helped me with payments when my Alipay failed. He always responds promptly on WeChat.
My stay in Zhangjiajie wouldn’t have been the same without his invaluable help.

The boss picked me up at the high-speed railway station and arranged a nice room for me. It was cozy and comfortable. I also asked the boss to book the tickets for Tianmen Mountain, which was cheaper than booking it myself. It was also convenient to go to Zhangjiajie Forest Park.
