Zhenyuan is like a hometown homestay

Facilities: Basic and complete, though the showerhead is a bit old; I'd suggest upgrading it to a better one. Cleanliness: Pretty good, amenities were replaced, and the in-room drinking water, fruit, and snacks were great 👍. Environment: Excellent location, very close to the parking lot, and the views are nice too. Service: The pick-up/drop-off and luggage assistance were very thoughtful.

The Hukun Expressway was so congested that we randomly picked a scenic spot to stay overnight after getting off the highway, and to my surprise, we stumbled into a dream world. The room on the 4th floor offers a prime view of Zhenyuan Ancient Town, definitely worth the climb. In the morning, it's misty and ethereal, and at night, it's beautifully lit up. Every now and then, you hear the whistle of an old-fashioned green train, adding a touch of drama. The room itself is also fantastic and clearly well-maintained. A big thanks to the owner for the complimentary fruit!

This guesthouse in Zhenyuan Ancient Town is like a secluded haven, a true five-star establishment with a prime location in the heart of the ancient town, adjacent to the Qinglong Cave Scenic Area, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a top-floor suite with an unparalleled view. I could enjoy the stunning night view of Zhenyuan Ancient Town right from my room, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. The guesthouse was personally designed by the owner, showcasing exceptional aesthetic taste. The overall style was absolutely perfect, with meticulous attention to detail in every aspect. I was lucky enough to enjoy a home-cooked dinner at the guesthouse, which was arguably the best I'd had in Guizhou during my trip – authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable. The owner is gentle and kind, treating everyone with genuine hospitality, making for a comfortable and relaxing experience throughout. A tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with beautiful scenery, excellent design, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect place to stay in Zhenyuan. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Zhenyuan!

The location is great and easy to find. The room was very clean and fully equipped. The owner is very kind; he turned on the air conditioning in advance and even prepared snacks and fruit for us. The hospitality was thoughtful, making for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

It's very convenient to get here by car, and the parking lot isn't far. I really liked the room's style; it had a tatami area. It rained during my stay, and sitting on the tatami looking out at the courtyard was very soothing. The courtyard was also very well maintained. They provided snacks and fruit upon check-in. The service was understated yet heartwarming. The courtyard had a great atmosphere, making it a perfect place to stay while traveling.

Our family stayed here, and the two bedrooms each had their own bathroom, which was a great experience. The rooms were spacious and clean. The owner and staff were very welcoming and even offered suggestions for local sightseeing and dining. The courtyard was beautiful, and the house was right by the river, within the scenic area, making it close to popular attractions. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhenyuan.

I highly recommend room 501! I loved the tatami bay window; although it didn't have a river view, the view of the courtyard was very relaxing. There was also a small private balcony, perfect for washing and drying clothes. My dog ​​could run and lie down there too. So comfortable and carefree! The location was great; the hotel was just a short walk from the parking lot, and the lake was just a short walk from the hotel. If you don't like walking, you can rent an electric scooter from the owner. My dog ​​loved the courtyard. The owner and staff were all very friendly; they proactively helped with our luggage and kindly cleaned up any mess our dog made on the blankets. The whole trip was wonderful and harmonious!

The service was excellent; they helped with luggage during check-in and check-out. The electric tram charging station was convenient, and the Forestry Bureau parking lot was right next door.

It was probably the off-season, and the place was quite deserted. The guesthouse was under renovation and looked a bit run-down. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and cute; she was even younger than my daughter. She kindly upgraded us to a suite, so it was quiet—almost eerily so—just the two of us. Getting our luggage out of the parking lot was a bit of a hassle, even though it was very close. The young lady came to pick us up, but there was no level path to push it across, and I hadn't expected there to be no elevator.
