Zhongshan International Hotel

Went to the front desk to ask about upgrading to a larger room with an additional charge, and this is what they called an executive suite. It's the first time I've ever seen a slightly larger room referred to as a suite. The room temperature never went above 19 degrees Celsius. The front desk staff were arrogant.

Cleanliness: The toilet wasn't even properly cleaned. Facilities: Old and run-down. They claimed it was newly renovated, but when asked, they just changed the wallpaper and carpet. 😓 Environment: Completely inconsistent with the pictures advertised. It's so old, just see for yourself. Service: Alright.

As a renowned star-rated hotel in Zhongshan, its revolving restaurant on the 20th floor is an iconic landmark, offering a lavish breakfast and excellent value buffet. The garden-style dining room on the 4th floor also boasts a unique charm.

This is a fantastic hotel, highly recommended! It's in a great location, a well-established hotel in Zhongshan. The exterior is grand, and the interior decor is classic and elegant. The night view of Qijiang River outside the hotel is beautiful, and Qijiang Park is nearby, perfect for a stroll or enjoying the scenery. The staff are all very attentive, warm, and thoughtful, resolving issues quickly. The room decor is also excellent, clean, and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. Upon entering the hotel, the grand lobby with its water feature immediately catches your eye. They offer a variety of cuisines, including Chinese and Western, with authentic flavors – I really enjoyed it. Plus, there's a direct bus to Hong Kong right downstairs, making travel very convenient.

The hotel service was exceptionally good, and the restaurant's food was incredibly authentic. The hotel's location is also very convenient, and the rooms are spotless. Outside the hotel, the Qijiang River night view is stunning, with beautiful lights and a Ferris wheel.

Every year when I visit Zhongshan to see my relatives, I always choose Zhongshan International Hotel. It's a long-standing landmark, and the staff are incredibly kind and polite, always going above and beyond. I really have to commend them. The hotel also has a dryer and washing machine, which is very convenient for guests.
