Very speechless hotel never evaluates any hotel regardless of how many people in the room give a meal ticket. If a room lives for two people, who eats and who doesn’t eat it. If you eat, add money. Zhongwei has simple folk customs and the hotel service is even more thoughtful. Because my family got up late for breakfast, I asked to take some back to the room. The waiter not only provided lunch boxes, but also thoughtfully helped to serve and clean up.
On the second day of the extended stay, the suite was changed to two guest rooms. Hotel manager Yang took the initiative to help and helped with three other waiters to move the luggage without any complaints.
If you don’t have to stay in a desert specialty hotel, such as Xingxing. I strongly recommend this place, especially for self-driving. There is a food street downstairs. It is convenient to drive to Shapotou, and the 66th kilometer is not far away.

After contacting the itinerary in advance, the car drove to the parking spot sent by the boss on WeChat, and the boss drove us to the campsite (about ten minutes one way, and the round trip was like riding a desert surfing car, which was quite interesting). The tent was very large and suitable for two adults and two children. It looked well-planned and relatively clean (a small amount of sand on the ground was inevitable). The public bathroom was also relatively clean/with sufficient water for convenient washing (you need to bring your own slippers, towels and other personal items). At night, the fireworks set off by various families in the entire campsite were quite interesting, and the bonfire activity that lasted for more than half an hour was also very relaxing and joyful. 3 yuan for mineral water/small drinks is a conscience price in the desert. The price of the buffet dinner with two meat and two vegetable dishes/a la carte barbecue is slightly higher but acceptable (I thought that the main purpose of coming here is to play). Overall, I am very satisfied. This year I am bringing my three children by myself (two children from other families) and I have invited friends to come together next summer.

GGuest UserStayed 1 night late August. 24kms and ¥40 taxi ride from ZhongweiNan fast train station. The area used to be a farm on a bend of the Yellow River. There are numerous accommodation areas, all looking similar. Apparently, one person owns all, and rents out clusters to various entities. Ours had a restaurant, but it wasn't open. For dinner and included breakfast, we went to the first restaurant on the right as you enter through the security gate from the carpark.
Peaceful part of the world. Facility had a nice little pool, but water was too cold. Too dangerous to swim in the river. As you face the river, we walked right to a glamping area and had a cold beer. There is a petting zoo type deal on the way. To the left, you eventually climb up to a mini version of the great wall. Keep walking, for a side track to the river, or up to a little pavilion after crossing a road.
+ points, well set up, peaceful and secure.
- points, zero English and most frustrating experience I've had in China even with apps both ways. We all travel with a price to quality/experience ratio. In this instance, far too high, and I wouldn't be back or recommend this place

Hygiene: The room facilities are old, the sand toys are not cleaned and dirty, the sand at the door is not clean, and the small stones and small pieces are very easy to scratch the children.

TTim in ChinaThe hotel is located in a tourist area but most stores/restaurants are closed. However there are a couple open places and the staff was helpful finding them. The room was large and clean, especially the shower was very nice. The biggest issue I had with this hotel is that only one of windows had proper curtains, the other was very bright at night since the hotel lights are just outside. The last picture was taken at 2am so just bring an eye mask if you plan to stay here. Overall the hotel was fine and priced well for its proximity to the Shapotou tourist attraction.

You have to take a taxi to the Zuoqi East Lake Scenic Area first, and then the store will drive an off-road vehicle to take you to their camp. Not far from the road, there is a big goose and a small cat. Wherever you go, the goose will follow, but its call is a bit loud. At night, you can see the stars in the sky! 🏠 Facilities I went to live in the desert tent in mid-to-late October. The temperature was a bit low at night. The face was still cold after plugging in the electric blanket. It is recommended to go before mid-October. It will not be very cold. There are two choices of tents and rooms. The price of the room will be more expensive, but it will not be so cold. The service boss is super good.
