It’s very convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset, especially when watching the sunset. You can just climb up to the top of the hotel to see it. It’s super beautiful. Dog🐶 Higashi-Fukuyama Island is a very warm island. It is a scenic spot wherever you go. The islanders are also very enthusiastic~ I will be very patient when I am lost to show you the way! (The enthusiasm of the food stalls is not considered wailing, it is recommended to eat at the homestay, if the stomach is not good, you may have diarrhea) The little sister in the homestay is also very cute! Like my little sister at home, after watching the sunset on the first night, I went to eat dinner and returned to the homestay at 8 o'clock. The proprietress and the little sister were sitting at the door-like a mother waiting for my child to come home. It was so warm. Stayed in the little prince's bed room last night, although it is a bed! What can I say, it was just an amazing stay, it’s one of those places you have a positive feeling from the moment you book your stay. It’s hard to get to this island as you must take 2 ferries from Zhoushan main island as well as a few covid tests, but when you get there is just worth it. The host (Kan) was so very helpful from the very beginning, from helping is with the Didi from Ningbo to Zhoushan, to ferry times and meals. Kan organized a set lunch for us 4, cooked by the best chef in the island, and the seafood was to die for, a proper feast of the gods. The hotel is probably the best looking one in the whole island, it clearly stands out from all the others. Only a 2-minute walk from the port, but in a very quiet area. The sunset is just spectacular, and both the rooms we booked are facing south/southwest which gives it a great sun exposure. The rooms were very comfortable as well as the beds. Breakfast was delicious and they have an Italian coffee machine which is great for coffee lovers. The island is quite small, so al 4 of us went on a hike for 3 hours and the views are to die for, there’s a very clear path around the island, which is also well maintained with clear signs, make sure to do it. The hotel also has a terrace on the ground floor with tables and a chill area which is perfect if you just want to chill and watch the sun set with a glass of wine/beer. We will all be coming back for the summer for sure, can’t wait!!!

The cypress garden is my favorite homestay in China. It sublimates the travel experience of the entire East Fukuyama Island. Although the road is a bit hard (because the whole island is a mountain and you need to climb some steps), you will find that it exceeds expectations. The lady boss is kind, enthusiastic, cheerful, and good at cooking (secretly confession), she lent me a hat, and said that breakfast was not provided when booking, but the breakfast, lunch and dinner here are all made by the boss. The charge is cheap but sincere It's delicious, because I don't like seafood, it's rare to eat such healing home-cooked dishes on the island. It is also very fun to share a meal and chat.
