Putuo Mountain Jingya Guesthouse

The room was clean and the environment was quiet. It's very convenient with convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Great value for money! I'll definitely come back next time I visit Putuoshan. They even gave us a farewell gift.

Not far from the pier, within walking distance. The room was very clean, and the owner was very welcoming. There are also plenty of convenient dining options nearby. It's an 800-meter walk to Puji Temple. Mount Putuo is a popular pilgrimage site with beautiful scenery.

This stay was incredibly comfortable! The room was spotless, and they even provided disposable bath towels. The owners are such a warm and kind family. They not only helped us get a number and order food, but they also plugged in the mosquito repellent in our room in advance. They drove us back and forth, so we didn't have to worry about a thing the entire time. Everything was perfectly arranged. We feel so lucky to have met such wonderful hosts on our trip! Everything was truly the best arrangement!

I personally think it's a great place. The B&B is very clean, with one large bed and one small bed, more than enough for a family with one child. It's small but has everything you need. My only minor complaint was the disposable bath towels and towels, but the owner's brother changed them daily, and the couple running the place provide excellent service!

The owner was incredibly thoughtful and provided excellent service. I arrived at Putuo Mountain at night, and they were worried we wouldn't know the way in the dark, so they came to the pier to pick us up, helped us with our luggage to the hotel, and even waited for us the whole way, just in case we couldn't keep up. The hotel room environment was fantastic. My friends have been here several times and said this guesthouse was the best they've ever stayed in. It's very quiet and clean. They even upgraded us to a top-floor room with a tatami area for tea and chatting. We had a very comfortable stay for two nights, and the bedding was also very clean.

The hotel's location is excellent, situated in the Xishan Villa area, within walking distance to Puji Temple and the food street. The owners are incredibly welcoming; they picked us up and dropped us off at the pier and even helped with our luggage. They also upgraded our room type.

The B&B has a nice environment and basic facilities, and the owner's service attitude is excellent. The owner picked us up from the pier after we disembarked. Due to a typhoon warning, in order to leave the island before the ferries stopped running, we went straight to the pier after finishing our prayers. The owner had already gathered our luggage and was waiting for us at the pier. We are very grateful to the owner for saving us so much time. Thank you very much! 🙏

The room was very clean and close to Puji Temple. There were also many restaurants towards Puji Temple. The landlady was very enthusiastic and even helped us take our luggage to the pier when we left.

To all fellow travelers who stumble upon my review, congratulations, you've hit the jackpot! This was my first trip to Putuoshan. Before deciding, I spent ages researching online: guides, routes, transportation, getting to the island, buying tickets. But accommodation was a real headache. I spent 3-4 days looking at hotels and guesthouses, debating whether to stay on or off the island. I ultimately decided to stay on the island for convenience and to save time, even though hotels there are pricey. So, I opted for a guesthouse. After a lot of sifting, I ended up randomly picking this one (Jingya Guesthouse) – it felt like fate. It's about a 10-minute walk from where you disembark, and the owner even came to pick me up at the pier. When I got to the guesthouse and saw the room, it was newly renovated, everything was brand new, just as advertised online. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was quite spacious. Since everything was new, the cleanliness goes without saying. All the toiletries were disposable. It's a 6-minute walk to Financial Street (full of restaurants) and a 10-minute walk to Puji Temple. The owner even helped me plan my itinerary, though it really depends on your own schedule. All in all, I'm very satisfied and would definitely stay here again. Just a final note: all the buildings on the island are old, two or three-story walk-up houses with similar exteriors that don't look like much. The key is the interior decoration, so don't expect them to look particularly beautiful outside. Otherwise, you'll be looking at hotels starting from 400-500 yuan. (I'll just upload the pictures.)
