Putuo Mountain Han She Homestay (Putuo Temple Branch)

Terrible! The hygiene was terrible, the soundproofing was extremely poor, and the service was indescribably bad! This is the first time I've encountered such an outrageous owner! Paying for a guesthouse felt like being a guest in someone else's home! 1. The rooms are simply partitioned rooms in a residential building, but the soundproofing is terrible! At night, I could hear people talking in the next room; there was absolutely no privacy! The cleanliness was appalling; the decorations on the walls were covered in dust. 2. The advertised pick-up service only went to the bus stop at the entrance of the complex, and they didn't inform us beforehand, then blamed us for not contacting them in advance. 3. My companions and I all booked guesthouses in the Longsha complex and left our luggage at the pier. Other guesthouses could help pick up packages from the pier, but this one couldn't. Not only that, but when we tried to cancel our booking, they refused, accusing us of threatening them and making things difficult for them—their attitude was extremely rude! 4. We retrieved our luggage from the pier ourselves and arrived at our accommodation, only to find that the actual location was different from the location indicated on the platform. When we contacted her to come and guide us, she accused us of wandering around and maintained a sullen expression throughout. 5. Upon arriving at the room, we discovered the air conditioning was faulty and disposable slippers were not provided. When we contacted them for repairs, the landlady was extremely rude and dismissive. After our initial attempts to cancel our booking were rejected, she declared, "This is her property; take it or leave it." During the ensuing argument, she and two other people blocked the doorway, refusing to close it. Despite repeated requests for her to leave the room, she refused to budge. Even after closing the door, we could still hear them talking outside. 6. The price was almost the same as other accommodations (282 here, 300 elsewhere), but the service quality and attitude were drastically different. As a service industry owner, she showed absolutely no service spirit, and our communication was filled with shirking responsibility and blame.

The rooms are average, the floors are high and there is no elevator. Only tap water is provided but no other water is provided.

The hotel has a unique location, not far from Puji Temple. The layout of the hotel has a Buddhist-like feel. The proprietress and her family were very kind and went to the bus station to greet me personally. There is a canteen next to it, which is convenient for eating. A very cost-effective hotel, worth staying for a few more days!

The room was very good, clean and sanitary, and the location was very convenient. The boss was attentive and helped me make a tour guide. He also prepared a map and helped with change. I will choose this hotel next time I go to Putuo Mountain.

The owner is warm and hospitable, and the communication is very comfortable. He helps introduce the strategy of offering incense and praying on the mountain. The house price is also very economical. I hope to see you again next year.

I stayed here last year. The landlord was very nice and the room was very clean. The room is not big but it is enough for two people. The only drawback is that there are mosquitoes.

I took my 4-year-old son on a wish-fulfilling trip to Mount Putuo. It was also my first time out. On the first day in Shanghai, I contacted the boss in the car. The boss was very enthusiastic and sent a map and detailed location and ride instructions. Contact the boss before getting on the bus and he will pick you up at the station and help you with your luggage. He will also introduce the pilgrimage route and local food recommendations in detail. The room is in a local residential area, just like the picture, very clean. After exiting the community and passing through the tunnel, you will reach Puji Temple. It was pleasant to walk back to the community after dinner. Since I still had a schedule the next day, I checked my suitcase directly at the gate of the community to the pier, which was very convenient! This one is worth recommending.

It was my first time to come to Mount Putuo. I contacted the B&B in advance. The landlord was very nice and told me how to take the boat and how to find the B&B after arriving at Mount Putuo. After you get on the minibus, you will come over to help pick you up. In fact, it is not far from the B&B. The check-in process is the same as that of a hotel. It feels very formal. The house is designed in a classic style, clean and refreshing. When you enter the room, you have to plug in the power card. I heard that it was our first time here, and he told me the precautions for worshiping Buddha, as well as the approximate itinerary for a few days, and gave me a suggested route, which is equivalent to half a small tour guide. The overall feeling is great. I will choose this B&B next time I come to Putuo Mountain.

The inn is on the fifth floor of a residential area. The owner is a Fujian couple. They are very enthusiastic. They will pick you up, help plan the tour route, and invite people to drink Kung Fu tea. The accommodation conditions are okay. There is a restaurant opposite the community with rich dishes and moderate prices. We basically visited all the scenic spots in two days and one night except Luojia Mountain. Putuo Scenic Spot is very worth visiting.
