I travel for business multiple times a year and try all sorts of hotels, but my recent trip to Putuo left a lasting impression. Personally, for this price, getting a five-star experience felt like a steal! Zhoushan is a beautiful city, and it happened to rain on my second day, offering a completely different, unforgettable experience. It was so relaxing just staying in the room, listening to the rain and the birdsong! The concierge was incredibly responsive to messages. If it hadn't been Qingming Festival, I would have loved to stay longer. This is also the first time I've seriously written a review; I really want to share this with anyone who needs it. Exploring the surrounding area was super convenient. It took just over 10 minutes to get to Shenjiamen, I browsed the Donghe Market, and was back before 10 AM. It's also a quick 6-minute drive to the airport – amazing! If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely choose this place!

Our first stop in Putuoshan was the Guanyin Bodhimanda, and we chose this guesthouse. The two hotel managers personally picked us up from the airport, and checking in felt just like coming home. It's very convenient to walk from the guesthouse to the Guanyin Bodhimanda, only about ten minutes, and there are many dining options nearby. The hotel breakfast is vegetarian, which is perfect for those observing Buddhist practices. Putuoshan Airport / Wugongzhi Pier transfer service: Very convenient, just book in advance with the manager.

The Shanhai Hotel boasts an excellent location, offering panoramic views of the South China Sea Guanyin statue right from your window – a truly soothing and relaxing vista. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and well-equipped facilities. The front desk staff are welcoming and attentive, and check-in is efficient. The surrounding area is convenient for transportation, making it excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zhoushan! The hotel service is outstanding; they offer pick-up and drop-off service whenever you call! Highly recommended!

The bed was super comfy, and they even provided two types of pillows, which were also great! We arrived late, past 11 PM, from Ningbo High-Speed Railway Station and hadn't had dinner. To my surprise, the hotel offered complimentary millet porridge. It was a thoughtful touch and hit the spot! The overall environment is really nice. It's also a quick taxi ride, about 8 RMB, to Wugongsi Pier.
