Had dinner at the seafood restaurant. We explained to the waiter that my girlfriend is very allergic to garlic. They brought bread with a chimichurri dip which has garlic, Immediately my girlfriends throat started to close up .We left ! They don't take allergies seriously enough,My girlfriend's throat closes up to the point where she cannot breath when she is exposed to garlic, not a good experience.

The rooms are perfect, the property is beautifully designed and maintained. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and have a sense of humor.

This place is paradise ! This was our second time going. We are trying to go yearly. Definitely a favorite. Everything is top notch , from the staff, food, spa and of course the views. Beds are so comfy. I keep forgetting to ask what pillows they use cause I want to order some for myself. Do yourself a favor and book a massage. They are amazing and professional quality. They know what they are doing. You won’t want to leave this place. Absolutely perfection.

Most warming service ever, followed by the most stunning suites and views, trully unbeatable. Get to saw whales, the spa is insanely gorgeous, exclusive suites with gigantic plunge pulls, delicious affordable and genuine local sea food cuisine. It was so hard to say goodbye.

My husband and I were looking for a private, quiet, relaxing stay that would allow us to decompress from our hectic jobs. Cala de Mar allowed us to do that with its beautiful vistas from our own private suite/plunge pool and massages. They even arranged our transportation and gave us bookable activity options during our stay. The staff are very friendly and took care of us while respecting our privacy. If you’re looking for excellent service, peace and relaxation, we highly recommend Cala de Mar.

Cala de Mar exceeded my expectations in every way! I will be going back again to indulge in the views, the pools, the food,the whale watching, and the quiet solitude lent by the design of the resort and the geographiucal location along the coastline.
