Aminess Liburna Hotel

Location and a stunning view of the bay and the old city are the only good things of this hotel. Service and cleannes wasnt good, our hot water jar had white things floating. We ask in the morning to replace it and they didnt do it we had to call again at night. Coffee bags in the room are horrible and the only option is milk coffee. Coffee at the breakfast its horrible and breakfast food its not that good. The room smell like fried food when we arrived. You dont have much options in korcula but im sure there needs to be better benefit-cost hotels.

The first impression of this hotel shouted out budget yet it is supposed to be 4 star. Nothing could be further from the truth. Everything about the way this place is run tells you they are trying to save money wherever they can. It’s about quality, and this place has none. The location couldn’t be better overlooking the bay to the old town. A nice 10 minute stroll takes you there by the sea, take care as the path is quite uneven. When we checked in we immediately got the sense it was a budget hotel. The only give one key card for the room so had to ask for another one which had our room number on! Strange! We were given cards which were to be exchanged for a pool towel, and this needed to be returned to get another card. The room had two small single beds pushed together and the mattresses seemed like memory foam. Not comfortable. There was a kettle in the room but only fruit tea available and the reception desk only had white coffee powder which was disgusting. The bathroom was basic, the bath too high, and the shower weak. In fact no hot water on the second day of our stay. As part of our deal evening meal was included. A poor buffet, with lukewarm food, limited choice if vegetarian (one dish was cleared after an hour as they had run out). It reminded me of school dinners. So awful that we ate out on our second night. Breakfast was similarly meagre affair. So in conclusion, when you look to stay at this hotel do yourself a massive favour and look to go elsewhere. I will certainly be telling our travel agent not to send their clients.

Excellent experience. All the staff are positive and respond to any request in a happy constructive way. The room was cleaned daily. The restaurant and bar staff had a great sense of humour and made my stay fantastic. A pleasure to stay there.

This is a well-run facility, with the best view of the old town right across the bay. It’s only a 5 min. walk to the city center. The breakfast selections were first rate and the staff are attentive and helpful. The rooms are basic, but make sure to ask for one that faces the town. It’ a solid 4-star property.

We found this hotel had the perfect location for us - just a short stroll into Korcula Town and about 15 minutes walk from the 'Old Town' centre. We stayed half board. I am a very picky eater, and I don't enjoy walking all over town looking for something I like to eat. So the buffet style breakfast and dinner was great for me. There was plenty of choice of salad, meat, fish etc. I particularly enjoyed the homemade bread. Polite staff. I would recommend the hotel for older adults. Families with children would find more for them at the 'Port 9 Resort' just round the bay, run by same company. We enjoy peace and quiet. Those wanting nightlife, late bar etc would probably not like Korcula. It was just right for us.

First- we had the most beautiful view of the old town from the balcony in our room and you had the same view from the hotel terrace. We didn't' use the pool but it looked inviting. The hotel is a short walk to the old town, but I wouldn't do it past 9 PM because it gets dark. The rooms are two story which some people may not like. The bottom level has a half bathroom, sitting area, TV and balcony and the upper level has the bedroom, full bath, TV and another balcony. One balcony faces the parking lot and the other faces the old town. Ask for a room with the lower-level balcony facing the old town. There is a very small closet on the upper level but most of the storage space is on the lower level which is inconvenient. The hotel doesn't provide any shampoo, cream rinse or lotion which is unusual for a hotel in this price range. Worst of all, they only give one key card per room and that is needed for the lights. So, one person can't easily leave the room without the other. The breakfast buffet has quantity but not quality. We didn't have dinner there, but it looked about the same. That said, I would still recommend this hotel because the view is amazing

Situated across the bay from the old town, the view from our balcony was a memory will treasure. The restaurant offered evening and breakfast buffets both with huge variety of excellent food. The old town was just a short walk around the bay and offered numerous restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful.
