We stayed at the Blue Sky Hotel for 2 nights while on a birding tour throughout Ghana. From the outside it looks fine enough except that it was very dark - the outside as well as the hallways inside. Our room was dated yet functional, and had a very odd "window" that looked out into the lobby. I'm not sure who would ever use that - we didn't. The meals we ate were prepared by the hotel and were OK, but the service was subpar - dinner was very late one night because the staff had to go find cooking fuel and another morning because the cook didn't come to work. Overall, it seems the hospitality industry in northern Ghana could use some improvement.
