Short walk to the local shops. Lots of parking spaces never s struggle to get a space. Tehre was a wheelchair ramp up to the hotel reception. A 10 pin bowling alley shares the car park. It had a secure bicycle lock dedicated building, accessible with your room key card.

Lage gut,direkt am See. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer waren sauber. Was uns gefehlt hat, war ein direkter Weg zum See mit Sitzplatz, dieses war nur über das Restaurant möglich. Bis auf Wassersport und Fahrradtouren hat der Ort Zwartlouis nicht viel zu bieten.

Op doorreis met boot, als kind waren wij kind aan huis ( ouders vrienden van familie Frank, 40 jaar niet geweest dus wel bijzonder We overnachten vannacht kamer 62 ziet er netjes uit erg goede bedden, 18 uur eten we bij Frank ! Wel zijn tot nu toe erg tevreden en ze weten al jaren hoe het moet in de horeca. Mvg Ferry Bakker Putten

De kamers zijn netjes maar het geheel heeft wel een wat stoffige en ouderwetse uitstraling. De kamers aan de rivierwater zijn vernieuwd, maar die aan de dorpskrant, waar ik zat, waren dat niet. De douchekop van de regendouche was verkalkt waardoor er bijna geen water uit kwam. Het ontbijt/lunch/dinerbuffet was prima. Personeel en bediening hebben het erg druk en daardoor weinig aandacht voor de gasten. Al met al voldoet het voor een nachtje, voor een weekendje weg oid zou ik zelf iets anders boeken.

Fine place, we did not try any of the amenities, so I'm not sure it really is a four star hotel. We were asked if we wanted breakfast the next day, and we replied if we could let them know in the morning. That brought a very sour expression on the receptionist's face. Why not smile and say it would be a great help for the kitchen if we could tell them the day before?

De ligging hotel heel mooi.kamers beetje verouderd .Maar heel zacht bed.personeel heel vriendelijk .de kok aan buffet deed zijn best om als naar. Wens te doen verlopen .samueel .giethoorn mooi om te zien.receptie was ook in orde.boottochtje ook.

Our reservation was lost by the hotel. They found a room for us but not a deluxe room as we had reserved. Our new room was at a lesser cost but it was a much smaller room than we had booked. Also two twin beds not a king bed as we had booked. An apology would have been appreciated but none was offered. Other than that our stay was comfortable.

Hoewel wij een comfort stadskantkamer hadden gereserveerd, zijn we ondergebracht in een klein bijgebouwtje t/o het hotel. Een kamer met achterstallig onderhoud (kale plekken op piepende deuren; verouderd sanitair enz.). Live-cooking is achteruit gegaan ten opzichte van voorgaande jaren: minder keuze aan de buffetten. De carpaccio was een kommetje met rookvlees met wat sla. De vleesgerechten die door de kok worden gebakken zijn goed van kwaliteit en bereiding. Jammer van de lange wachttijd bij het bakken (1 kok die bakt op 1 bakplaat). Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid en bovengemiddeld. Wat ons nog het meest irriteerde waren blaffende honden in het restaurant. Dieren in een restaurant hebben sowieso niet onze voorkeur. Er zijn voldoende parkeerfaciliteiten op een aantrekkelijke locatie. Het dorp Zwartsluis stelt toeristisch gezien niet veel voor. Je moet hier vooral verblijven voor de omgeving (fietsen). Dit was voor ons de 4e maal dat wij hier een 3-daags arrangement hebben geboekt. Onze conclusie luidt: voorlopig maar even niet meer.
