Staying at Sichenyuan Hotel is the biggest surprise of this trip to Jianshui. The location of the hotel is very good. It is only more than 100 meters away from the ancient city. It is quiet and unique in the bustle. An old house with traditional Chinese characteristics, Chinese-style furniture and modern bathrooms provide a very comfortable living experience. Special thanks to the handsome waiter Deng Yunlong for his very warm and thoughtful service. Considering that there were elderly people staying, he helped us upgrade our room to a suite for free. We had the opportunity to live in a small private courtyard with a small patio, small garden and privacy. The sex was very good. The hotel also offers free afternoon tea. You can sit by the pond on the first floor or in the study room on the second floor to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sip tea. Breakfast is also good, including traditional Jianshui specialty snacks rice noodles and rolled noodles, as well as various snacks and porridge, as well as fragrant freshly brewed coffee. There are calligraphy and paintings hanging all over the hotel, giving it a very elegant and scholarly atmosphere. The nearby Tuwa Fang (No. 96-1 Lin'an Road, Lin'an Town, Jianshui County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province) restaurant is very good. It has a very inconspicuous facade (less than one meter wide). When you enter, it looks like a family kitchen, with the accounting room on the left and the kitchen on the right. Going inside is a long dining table. (similar to a long tea table), and there is a large dining table against the wall. There is a stove on the table that is roasting ”tofu” that is available in almost every store in Jianshui County. At the same time, sweet potatoes and potatoes are also roasted. I missed this B&B even before I left the ancient city. This is the most warm and considerate B&B I have ever stayed in. The design of each room is based on my aesthetics. Having a washing machine to wash clothes made this trip perfect. Will come again next time.

Conveniently located inside the atmospheric old town, about 4mins easy walk from the South Gate or 7mins from the landmark East Gate - most part of the busy old town are closed to traffic from 9am daily. Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and the owner a great host with good travel advice. Room on the second floor was brighter and much more pleasant!

Environment: The whole inn is not big, hidden in the alley, quiet in the middle of noisy, the environment is not bad. There is a rice noodle shop at the door that tastes very good and is suitable for eating early. There is no parking lot in the inn, you need to park at the next 200-300 meters, the distance is OK, there is no inconvenience.

來了一場説走就走的自駕旅行，當天下午到建水古城，停好車，租了一輛電動車沿着古城的小巷子逛，遇到民宿就問還有沒有房，問了大約有10家左右民宿吧，有二家有房，但是環境不是很滿意，最後到這家，問了價格不貴，一樓有泡茶的地方，門口還有停車的地方，離古城的主街臨安路也不遠，附近吃飯遊玩都很方便，看了一下房間，滿意先訂了三天，老闆父子也很熱情，介紹了不少好吃好玩的地方，三天時間馬上就到了，覺得意猶未盡，又續了一天。
