Nirome Luxury Suites

We booked directly via the Nirome Luxury Suites website, and deeply regret our decision. We booked the deluxe suite with sea view and hot tub - ground floor. Never again! Pros: - The suite itself was beautiful, had a lot of space and was very clean upon arrival - The shower itself was large and lovely with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water - The location was good, but you will need a car to get around as with the exception of one local dining options, nothing else is within a short (10mins) walk - Free parking was available on-site - They kindly provided a variety of drinks and snacks, which were replenished daily - The initial suite tour by Eleni was pleasant and she provided useful information about the surrounding area via WhatsApp - The WiFi worked well most of the time, but was slow on occasions Cons: - The biggest disappoint was the deceitful nature of the management company. We chose the suite based on the ”hot tub” which was falsely advertised and had known issues prior to our arrival - which we were not made aware of. Upon informing Eleni regarding the faulty lighting and the water heating not working via Whatsapp, she stated that the lighting issue was known and to be fixed, and the hot tub was in fact a spa bath - which meant the water heated 1 degree every 20mins. We tested this over 2 days and informed her that the water was still not heating and we could not use the service we had paid for. She told us via Whatsapp that she would arrange for an engineer to come and check the issue. Having heard nothing from Eleni all day, we lodged a formal complaint via email and were later told that they had taken swift action and the hot tub had been tested by an engineer. This is absolutely not possible and false as we were in the apartment most of the day. Furthermore, the water we had left in the ”hot tub” was still the same level and nothing had appeared to have been touched. Not impressed by the deceitful nature of the management team and would have expected better. Their final communication completely ignores our feedback and states ”the hot tub is fully functional”. - We noticed insects wandering around the room, which was a bit unsettling - The sea view is only visible if you stand outside, as the apartment is on the ground floor - While the outside space of the suite was nice, it faces a busy road, and despite the wall and plants, the noise from traffic can be distracting - The pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable, leading us to use the small decorative ones for better support - The bathroom, separated by a glass door, offered little privacy as you could hear everything. Also, the bathroom lighting was faulty and eventually stopped working altogether. - The apartment itself can feel a little dark and could benefit from brighter lighting - The TV is located directly above the hot tub, so you cannot watch it from there Overall, while the location and some amenities were decent, the issues we encountered, particul

We booked a superior studio apartment through ******* and believed from the pictures/ description that we would be staying in a lovely building with a nice garden and that there would be daily housekeeping as advertised. Unfortunately this was not the case. Our apartment was above a derelict restaurant and to the other side was a building site. (Noisy due to building works on the Saturday morning) Although it is advertised as having a garden, there is NO garden for the superior studio. I would also not consider it as superior. It is a basic apartment with basic facilities. The curtains have stains and do not actually close properly The sofa although is covered by a blanket, has stains too. There is a shelf in the bedroom which is very loose and is not safe to put anything on it. The TV does not work. The shower pole is loose. The 'working area/ shelf' is extremely flimsy and could collapse if anything of weight was put on it. View from window is a building site. The advertisements of this particular apartment on ******* and other websites are showing pictures of a building that may be part of Play on the Sand however the apartment we had, is not part of that building and therefore it is totally misleading. Daily housekeeping (as advertised) only happened once during our 4night/ 5 day stay. Communication with the hotel management is non existing if you raise an issue. They did not respond to me and therefore I went through ******* with my concerns. ******* told me that Play on the Sands would refund £50. This is an insult considering how much we paid and the fact we were there for 4 nights/5 days. ******* then agreed to refund a further £30 so £80 in total. Although we accepted the £80, I made it very clear that I still believed this to be unacceptable. The management team did message me to remind me we had to be out of our room by 11am and wanted to know what time we would be leaving. I did not respond. Positives Apartment is a reasonably size. Good location Towels were good quality. Sea view from the balcony but the view from the window is a total building site. Very near O Hamos amazing restaurant- 2 min walk. Beach on your doorstep.

This whole experience was magical from the moment we arrived. Debi and Zoe were outstanding in their commitment to helping us settle in. Our room was prepared earlier than we expected, and the girls showed us sights and gave us tips on where to go and who they recommend on car hire, cruises and quad bike rentals, (which were all very competitive on price , honest and easy to deal with). It is well located, across the road from the supermarket, not far from the port and close to most the restaurants and tavernas. Because of Debi we got out of our comfort zone and saw what makes Milos one of the greatest Islands to visit and explore. The room is so comfortable and quite large, very clean. It also had great amenities like a Nespresso coffee machine and coffee pods which are replaced every day. We had a balcony on our stay and that really made you feel part of the village. (Special shout out to the lady who serviced our room every day Maria, for her wonderful and unobtrusive style )

Located in the middle of the mountain, the environment is very good, the overall scale is considerable; the pure white room is very cozy, the garden full of orange trees and the design of the sea view pool are pleasing to the eye, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the customer service and front desk service are also very good.

We stayed at the apartments at the end of a 5 week stay in the Cyclades. The apartment was large and could sleep 4 people with a triple bedroom and a day bed in the kitchen/ diner. The kitchen was fully equipped including coffee maker, toastie maker, and kettle. Outside terrace had a table with 4 chairs. Each morning we were greeted with a cool bag containing an amazing selection of breakfast food and drinks. The apartments are within easy walking distance to the port and various tavernas with bus links to other parts of the island. George who greeted us upon arrival was very professional and very informative about the island. Would definitely recommend this property.

By arranging a trip to the Apple for Easter days, we were very lucky to choose this hotel. Overall there is a very good quality-price relationship, the room we stayed in is very comfortable and corresponds to the description that exists on the site, which in many hotels is not applicable. The breakfast provider with a lot of variety. But what makes the difference is the service and the smiley staff, really is emphasized to keep the customer happy and it is something you can only appreciate.
