Longmen Shouyan, a no-brainer, exquisite B&B hotel right in the scenic area! We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM, and it was pitch black outside the parking lot. We quickly called the hotel, and the front desk thoughtfully brought a cart to help us with our luggage. Service was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is also superb, right in the Longmen Grottoes commercial street, and the decor is very stylish, as you can see in the pictures. We chose Longmen Shouyan for off-peak travel, and the price was excellent value for money. For just over 400 RMB, you can't ask for more! Our booking originally included breakfast for two, but the front desk kindly added an extra portion, which we really appreciated! The breakfast variety was a bit standard; it would be even better with more local Luoyang specialties. The painting in the lobby is beautiful, and the sofa is very comfortable.

The hotel is located directly inside Luoyi Ancient City. The convenience I considered was that it was very easy to enter the ancient city. I asked the room staff for details. I experienced the tranquility of the ancient city at night when there was no one around, which was very artistic. The room was comfortable and clean. The only downside was that it was inconvenient to bring a suitcase in, so it might be more suitable for travelers who travel light.

We stayed at Mantingfang. Parking was free, and park admission was also free, which was great as we could return to the hotel to rest anytime. This was especially convenient for seniors and children. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it covered all the basics, and dishes like the wontons and spicy soup were quite tasty. Highly recommend!

The hotel is built with lots of instgrammable spots. Looks very classical. The room is clean and most importantly, quiet. However, I just feel that the toilet design, which seems to be the case for most Chinese hotels, is weird. The door is almost translucent. While the design is all good and nice, it is extremely weird if my wife can actually see me take a poop...
The service is also extremely good. The room was treated with anti smoke procedure and the butler was great in explaining a lot of things that we do not really understand because of our poor Chinese grasp, but yet appreciated.
The food is not buffet style instead it is per order basis. To us, the food provided suited our palate very well. It seems that they offer Chinese or Western cuisine. We chose Chinese.
Overall, this is an awesome hotel!

Facilities: Everything is brand new, from the TV to the toilet, all modern models. The room is very spacious with a huge wooden table, which I really loved. They provide plenty of tissues, no skimping here! There are also massive floor-to-ceiling windows, and the view directly faces Shentang, making the night scenery absolutely first-class.
Location: It's right next to Mingtang Shentang, and you can walk to Yingtianmen and Jiuzhou Pond.
Cleanliness: The cleaning staff diligently tidies up every day. I saw them cleaning very carefully, wiping down tables, TVs, and scrubbing toilets daily. They are also very polite.
Service: The owners are both very welcoming and enthusiastic. The proprietress even took care of our breakfast every day. The front desk lady is very kind, sweet, and gentle. There's also intangible cultural heritage rubbings available to try in the lobby.
It is highly recommended to stay here when watching the Zen Ceremony! After visiting the Shaolin Temple during the day, I checked in, had dinner and rested for a while. When I got there, I went to watch the Zen Ceremony. It was a three-minute walk. It was so convenient. The room was big enough and the environment was beautiful. It was very nice!

The outside environment is good, but the interior is average, the sound insulation is very poor, and some uncultured people make loud noises at 12 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the location is good, at the entrance of Tongjin Gate, close to Parking Lot No. 6, and the price of 299 is acceptable. The white lights and pointed-roofed house in the picture are where the inn is located.

The room is well decorated, the heating is very good ~ The food in the restaurant is very good, lunch set, dumplings at night (especially like the three-fresh dumplings) ~ The scenery is also very beautiful, and it is also very good to watch the fireworks ~ The security uncle at the door is very nice
But there are many shortcomings, such as it should be equipped with a kettle, since it is used as a homestay, this is the most basic. You have to go to the water dispenser in the lobby to get water with your own cup. It is very inconvenient for those who don't bring cups. We booked two rooms. One of them had poor soundproofing. The neighbor was noisy until 1 or 2 in the morning. The other room had a power outage. The staff was very nice and said they were sorry and gave the guests some gifts to express their apology, but nothing happened. They said they would fix the electricity and let us know, but nothing happened.

GGuest UserI was traveling alone, and I booked a double room. The location of the inn is convenient and close to the subway station. Lijingmen and Shizijie Night Market are within walking distance. There is a bus to Baima Temple when you walk out of the road. There are supermarkets nearby. The room is not big, but it is cost-effective for individuals traveling on a budget. The people in the inn are also very kind. In addition, it also runs clothing rental and dress-up, and immediately changes clothes and goes out to travel.

GGuest UserThis was definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in since conning to China. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend everyone stays here because you will have an amazing time

GGuest UserThe transportation is convenient, very close to the Henan Museum, with buses and subways at the door and close to the Baimiao community. It is very convenient for eating. The room facilities are complete and there is parking space, which is very good.
