This hotel is located in Sham Shui Po, about a 10-minute walk from the MTR station. It's 4 stops to Disneyland and very convenient for getting to Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. Most importantly, it's not tucked away inside a building; it's easy to find along the street. The facilities feel relatively new, and they offer luggage storage. The cabinets in the room are large enough to fit a suitcase, which makes the room feel less cramped. For this price in Hong Kong, I'm very satisfied. However, the room definitely isn't as big as it appears in the pictures, and my husband spotted a 'mickey' (mouse) in a common area.

We had an excellent stay at this guest house and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the real heartbeat of Hong Kong. The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's right in the very center of Tsim Sha Tsui, in the famous Chungking Mansions building. For travelers, the convenience is perfect. Getting here from the airport was a breeze - we took the A21 bus, and the stop is just a couple of minutes' walk away. Furthermore, the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is literally a five-minute walk, connecting you to the entire city in moments. But the true highlight was our hostess. She is the kindest and most caring person! We arrived late at night from the airport, and she made our check-in so smooth and easy. When we were leaving, she did something incredibly thoughtful: she personally came down to see us off and helped us all the way to the elevator with our luggage, so we didn't have to struggle on the stairs. It was such a lovely and personal touch that made us feel truly cared for. Thank you so much! If you want to feel how the locals live and stay in a vibrant, authentic part of Hong Kong with exceptional hospitality, I boldly recommend this place. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

This place is incredible! I couldn’t be more happy to live in this place. The service here is the best. The woman at the reception treat every guests very well. The room is clean and tidy. It’s small but like all the rooms in tsim sha tsui, yet practical. The location is amazing! Three steps to get to mtr. Very convenient. They provide drinking water and WiFi and amenities. All ready to live. Very recommend!

I was very satisfied with this guesthouse. It's located in Chungking Mansions in Tsim Sha Tsui, which is a great location and also close to the subway, making it very convenient for exploring Hong Kong. Plus, it offers excellent value for money, perfect for solo travelers visiting Hong Kong. The rooms are quite small (consider it a unique Hong Kong experience, haha), but they are fully functional with shared amenities like a water dispenser, disposable cups, and a hairdryer – I never encountered any inconvenience. The soundproofing is a bit lacking; you can hear some noise from the hallway. There are no windows. The owner is African, very welcoming, and provides excellent service; simple English communication is all you need. Overall, it was a very good stay for me personally. I booked a room with a private bathroom; the rooms without private bathrooms looked extremely tiny, just a small bed right inside the door and nothing else. On another note, the cluster of money changers downstairs surprisingly had different exchange rates, and the difference was quite significant... but on average, their rates were much better than street-side shops. If you need to exchange currency, it's best to find the most favorable rate among the shops downstairs. Also, Chungking Mansions indeed has a very diverse mix of nationalities, including many African residents. While there were security incidents decades ago, the building now has surveillance cameras and 24-hour security patrols. Highly recommended for travelers seeking good value! You can experience a 'Kowloon Walled City' vibe, which is also a kind of travel experience! (Just kidding!)

The weather was fantastic, and we spontaneously decided on a spur-of-the-moment trip. It was quite busy during the summer holiday, but we enjoyed exploring, soaking in the beautiful sights, and experiencing the local culture – it was quite moving. I'd only ever seen it in Hong Kong movies before, but experiencing it firsthand this time was truly delightful and rewarding. It's clear how challenging it is to thrive in such a densely packed and expensive city, and while prices are a bit higher, everyone works incredibly hard. I've certainly visited the filming spots for characters like Nine-Tattoo Dragon and Brother Chicken! You should all come and explore, and experience the vibrant urban life here. The hotel we booked felt much like a charming homestay, brimming with character. It offered excellent value for money. I had some reservations after reading reviews before my arrival, but in reality, the lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean. Its location couldn't be better: right by Jordan MTR Exit B1, literally just 5 meters across from the exit at the building's entrance. It's also incredibly close and convenient to attractions like the Avenue of Stars. Highly recommended! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

This guesthouse is super conveniently located right by the Jordan MTR station exit. You just enter the building next to Mixue Ice Cream and take the elevator up to the 3rd floor. Being so close to the MTR makes getting around incredibly easy. The guesthouse itself is very clean, and the owner is really friendly and welcoming. If I ever come back to Hong Kong, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed in Room 3. The sheets and duvet were white and acceptably clean, but most other facilities were old, with some stubborn stains and rust, which didn't seem like it had been renovated in 2023. There was no window, so when the lights were off, it was pitch black – I had no idea what time it was in the outside world. The shower gel in the bathroom was empty. The air conditioning remote control seemed to be out of battery, though I didn't need it in December. There was also the sound of an electronic device playing outside the door all night.

The room has everything you need, even disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. It's just a few steps from the subway exit and close to the beach, which is amazing for night photography. The owner has a great attitude, and the 1.2m bed is super comfortable. Definitely worth coming back!

The location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere. Victoria Harbour is just a ten-minute walk away, and Kowloon Park is right across the street. Our room on the 11th floor was surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area, so we slept really well. The service was very warm and friendly; they were quick to resolve any issues.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right near Tsim Sha Tsui Exit A2. It's not far from Harbour City either, and Hong Kong was already full of Christmas cheer in late November. The hotel concierge was very thoughtful; they sent us directions from West Kowloon to the hotel the day before our arrival, telling us exactly how to get there.

MM502194****I traveled alone to Hong Kong and was pleasantly surprised by how great this hostel was. I was a bit worried at first, but it turned out to be really convenient and affordable. The hostel is super close to the MTR station and very easy to find. Once you're on the right floor, just scan the QR code on the door to add the owner on WeChat. The owner replies incredibly fast and will immediately send you the room password. **Cleanliness:** Although the room is small, it's very clean and tidy, with no strange odors. **Environment:** The surrounding area is very lively, with lots of food options downstairs, making it super convenient for exploring. Even though it's a mixed-gender dorm, the female-only rooms are separate and have their own passwords. The bathroom is also inside the room, so men can't enter, which makes it very safe. There are surveillance cameras in the corridor and outside the door. It's really suitable for solo female travelers. It's rare to find such an affordable and clean place. If you're traveling alone to Hong Kong, I highly recommend this place. Plus, there's free bottled water, toothbrushes, and towels! Amazing!

GGuest UserOpposite to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, the location is very good. The reception is on the 12th floor and there is a Filipino lady working there. There is also a Filipino man working at the check-out. But it is quite safe. There is a door to get in. We are three women and three beds. This is the smallest bed I have ever slept in in my life. It is just an ordinary beauty massage bed. It is so small, but this is the case in places where every inch of land is valuable. The toilet is so small. There is hot water, towels and slippers, but no toothbrushes. The air conditioner is from the 90s. It is the first time I have seen it. 😄

GGuest UserLocation is nearer to Mong Kok Station with a Circle K convenience store in the next building below. Walking distance to all foods & attractions within 2 km. The CityFlyer A21 Airport Express Bus is just 5 mins walking distance. Do not expect too much as it's just a tiny rental room.with minimal luggage space & amenities but clean. The tiny bathroom/toilet will not fit a large build person. They do have larger units. Overall, it's clean, comfortable with air-conditioning & a window for rest & sleep as you will be out exploring Hong Kong.

GGuest user 1Hands down, the best place to stay in Hong Kong. Stayed at this hostel for over two weeks, in a couple of different rooms, and I was consistently impressed by how well the entire establishment is maintained. The overall upkeep and cleanliness are truly top-notch! I was there even during a very busy Chinese holiday, and the entire staff was exceptional—managing the rush with efficiency and a helpful attitude. A special mention must go to Sheri at the reception. Her dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable; if you need assistance, she is the person to see. She has a wonderful talent for streamlining your stay and ensuring everything runs smoothly. I must add that my name is difficult for most to pronounce and despite the number of quests accomondated through the hostel she made sure to pronounce it correctly and remembered my name.  A true highlight of her remarkable and impeccable service! The staff also deserves praise for being just as helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with room checks or directions, no matter the hour! The rooms are well-equipped and spotless. I’ve included some pictures that show the overall cleanliness. My room came with two comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, a fridge, and all the necessary toiletries - a fantastic experience overall!

GGuest UserGood enough if you’re in a budget and just wanted a place to sleep. There is a person in the counter at the time i checked in (1:15pm) so checking in was easy. They also let me checked in early (2pm is the check-in time) with a discretion that the floor wasn’t vacuumed yet. I was pretty tired so I just checked in already. There’s a provided 2 cotton towels, 2 disposable toothbrushes, shampoo and body cream, 3 indoor sleepers (1 for the room, 2 for the bathroom) electric kettle, hair blower, 1 adapter and 1 toilet tissue. They also have an option to purchase disposable towels in the counter. The toilet also has heaters for both the sink and the shower and there was an AC. There’s a window too. There wasn’t housekeeping during my 4-night stay though. I am a female solo-traveller but booked this twin room to have more space. It was spacious enough and safe. If there are people in the hallway, you can hear them through the room but during my stay, the noises weren’t enough to cause me discomfort. Just normal amount of people getting in and out of their own rooms, and casual talks but not too loud. The city below is not as crowded, busy and loud too. But if you’re sensitive, try to pack some earplugs. The location was great. Just one bus ride away from the airport, no transfers needed. And just a 3-minute walk from the bus stop. MTR station is near as well. Moreover, it was very near to ladies market, there’s a mcdonalds nearby, hashtag B, and other stores. It can be crowded at night though (7-10pm) because alot of young people are there to shop but after that, it’s pretty quiet. As mentioned by others, there were no elevators from floors 1-3 and the room and counter was in the 3rd floor so carrying your luggage was a hassle. There’s also no extended hour stay service so manage your time and expectation. The host reply to queries, but answers short, and that’s okay due to language difference. Overall, comparing to other hostels, this is pretty decent. But please manage your expectations as this is not a hotel.

MM19760****The location is unbeatable. It's only 300m from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, making it convenient to get anywhere. K11 is right downstairs, so dining and shopping are literally at your doorstep, and Victoria Harbour is just 800-900 meters away. While the room was on the smaller side, it was incredibly clean, exceeding my expectations. The bed, though a bit small, was quite comfortable to sleep in. In the public area outside the room, there are free washing machines and dryers, as well as hot water and bath towels. The establishment also offers free luggage storage. For this price, staying in a guesthouse of this quality is very satisfying.

KKittima P.The hotel is located in the Chunking Mansion building. The check-in area is on the 10th floor, Zone C. The rooms are spread across different zones, but luckily, I got a room on the same floor as the check-in area. The room is very small but clean. The bed is comfortable. It has a private bathroom with a water heater, soap, shampoo, towels, hair dryer and slippers provided. The elevator is quite small, and you might have to wait a bit. The first floor is rather busy, with various shops run by the Indian people. The location is convenient, right by the main road and close to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station.
