I used this regularly for business travel and it is very definitely suitable for people on business travel or indeed couples is very nice wonderfully located central to Wilmslow Stafford great breakfast and massive and fabulous

A place with old world charm and in a great location. The double bed we had was on the small size, so we wished we'd selected a twin room. Breakfast was good, though water should be provided without having to ask. The coffee was a disappointing lukewarm warm filter type, despite there being a decent machine in view behind the bar.

Great Pub in a good location. A little tlc was required in our room to make it closer to great. Not many plug sockets, all in the wrong places (sorry).

A little piece of heaven! The room was very comfortable, well designed and with lovely nautical features throughout. On arrival, parking was excellent, friendly helpful staff, within minutes we were sat by the window, overlooking the fast flowing river, being entertained by the wildlife whilst enjoying a well earned drink after a nearly three hour drive! Location was perfect, breakfast, a joy! A birthday treat for my special girl which couldn't of been better, we will return.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a great spot to visit Keele umiversity and reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area.
The room was clean, a good size and very quiet. A nice touch to have bottles of water provided in the fridge too!
Breakfast was cooked to order with a good choice of options every day. I would recommend this hotel to friends and definitely stay here again when visiting the area!
