The hotel's location is excellent, right in front of the pier. Communication beforehand was smooth, and they accommodated our room type request. Check-in was quick, and our room had a direct view of the lake. The soundproofing was relatively good, making it quiet. The room also had underfloor heating and a bathtub. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Dinner at the hotel restaurant usually requires a reservation, and the restaurant staff were good too. Staying here during the off-season in this small town was a great experience.

This hostel exceeded my expectations. It's located in the small town of Bad Goisern, conveniently situated about a 5-minute walk from the Bad Mitte bus station and a 10-minute walk from the train station. There are several supermarkets nearby. Restaurants in town generally close early, so be mindful of the time, but there's a Turkish kebab shop about a 1-minute walk from the hostel that serves large, delicious portions and stays open late – a great option if you need it. Check-in at the hostel is simple and takes place on the second floor. Before you check in, the elderly owner will explain the transportation and attractions in the lake district. There's one private bathroom, a communal kitchen/lounge area, and another larger bathroom. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The room had heating, so it wasn't cold. The common area provides a shoe dryer, which is incredibly useful during the rainy season in the lake district. All the fellow travelers I met were lovely; we could arrange to explore together and chat. I was very satisfied with this solo trip to Austria.☺️

The room is very good, very comfortable and warm. Two bathrooms will send a lot of drinks in the refrigerator. There is a small bottle of red wine. It tastes good! There is an oversized balcony. There is a small park opposite. There is a supermarket next to the park! Very close to the church pedestrian street. The location is very good.

Nice hotel within a 8 min walk of the city centre for a one or two days stay. Breakfast is very basic and the staff don't speak much English so if you have a query it becomes complicated. The biggest disappointment was be advised that they don't have a night time restaurant or room service, so if you job demands evening calls etc it becomes a problem as you have to eat outside the property.

Great location, lovely ambiance, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend! If you're planning a trip to Hallstatt, I strongly suggest staying at this hotel. Even if you can't get a room, definitely come here for dinner – it's a must-try!

SStanley The Travel ManThis hotel is at the end of the lake. The hotel serves a really tasty buffet lunch for 15.90 Euros. It includes, salad, soup, probably 3 or 4 meat dishes and  dessert. I was there 10 minutes before a huge group , maybe 50 in all arrived and I had to hurry myself to get my food because it would be a long wait. When I was eating people can’t squeeze by each other but I only ate there once and  since it will rain that afternoon I didn’t waste any time. I have to say the staff was ok. A lady checked me in quite efficiently. I paid the occupancy tax and I got the key. When I arrrived at 11:45 am, there was no one in the small reception office. A waitress was really serving diners. There is a man who worked at the deli /sausage shop next to it to help out. I have to say the staff there in general wasn’t that welcoming. I wish they had been more pleasant and show a little smile and happiness in their work. It seemed like she was there because she had no other choice.   The room is 12 at the end of a long hallway. There is a big window. The room is small but I was fine with it. No complaint. The other thing is I wish they put a table lamp on the small desk. Otherwise, the room has enough shelf space for me. The morning buffet is excellent. It offered some tomatoes, small baby coins , cucumbers, many different of rolls, several varieties of ham , salami, egg, sausages, yogures, juice, cereal.  The coffee is made with coffee beans and it was excellent. The breakfast is the best. The small village has practically nothing. There is another hotel 10 to 15 minutes that serve dinner. Another town Bad Goisern is 2.4 miles to the north accessible by train or by bus where there is a Hofer ( Aldi in the U S ) and other supermarkets and restaurants. If you don’t have a car, you have to be prepared something or pay to eat at the one and only restaurant that I knew. On the other hand, this hotel has a microwave oven and one water kettle in case you have instant noodles. The bakery a few steps is expensive. I had a coffee and a sweet roll for 8 Euros.  The hotel is a few steps from a trail that takes you down 6 miles to Obertraun . The trail is in good condition and a large distance is by the lake. You can find the trail in Alltrails. There is a restaurant called Seecafé Obertraun that you can rest to have a sandwich , coffee or a beer. The sitting is by the lake and there is a clean restroom . The waitress and waiter were both friendly.  If I have to do it again, I would take a bus to Hallstatt from there . I think the bus number is 542 to 544. It should be cheaper than the ferry which is a rip off . 12 Euros for a 25 minutes ride. Bus is cheaper . The ferry is a fraud and it shouldn’t charge that much. I didn’t know there is a bus connection from there. All in all, this hotel is quite decent. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner but the buffet lunch is quite adequate. If you eat at 2:00 pm ( I think it closes at 2:30 pm ), you won’t need to dinner. Aside from the not so welcoming one out of 3 staff members, price is unbeatable. I notice that the price doesn’t change if you book early or late and doesn’t use dynamic pricing which I hate. If there is availability, you pay the same price which is more than fair. I read that one guest complaInts about the smell from the kitchen and the meat market next to it. It isn’t really an issue. There is a door on the second floor leading down to the kitchen and meat market. Someone closed the door in the morning. Some people just was so nitpicking when they are angry which is not justifiable. I believe the owner offers a decent , clean room for a very fair price as Hallstatt is really touristy and this hotel is a much better option that staying in Hallstatt and pay overpriced food and lodging with every shop sells souvenirs. If you are in the area, this hotel is an excellent choice.

UunverschämtThe overall environment is good and suitable for multiple guests. Outside, there's a mountain view and next to it is a school. You can check in yourself in advance. What was really frustrating was the completely self-service nature, including problems in the room that the hotel couldn't address promptly. Also, if you don't close the door at night, a lot of insects come in, as shown in picture one.

RRogelio Aguilario JrStayed at COOEE alpin Dachstein and absolutely loved the experience! 🏔️✨ The hotel has that perfect mix of modern comfort and cozy alpine vibes. My room was clean, bright, and had an amazing view of the mountains — waking up felt like a postcard moment every morning. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with tips for activities or transport. Breakfast was really good too — fresh, hearty, and exactly what you need before a day of exploring. Location-wise, it’s great if you want easy access to hiking spots, nature, and those breathtaking Austrian landscapes. Everything felt simple, relaxing, and stress-free, which is exactly what a mountain getaway should be. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Dachstein — comfortable, friendly, and surrounded by unbeatable scenery. 🇦🇹🤍🌲

LLaw_1The room was quite ordinary and simple, without anything particularly special or luxurious. However, it was clean and generally well maintained, which made the stay comfortable enough. The bed was fine, and the basic amenities provided were sufficient for our needs. Housekeeping did a decent job, and overall cleanliness was acceptable throughout the stay. While the room design and facilities were fairly basic, it served its purpose well, especially for resting after a long day outside. Overall, it was a reasonably comfortable stay. Nothing impressive, but nothing to complain about either. The cleanliness was the main positive point, and the room met our expectations for a standard stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is actually a boutique B&B. The facilities and room sizes are better in the town. The lake view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is not in the most central location of the town. It is on the hillside. Fortunately, the whole town is not big, and it is less than 200 meters to the town center or the town entrance for the best photos and check-ins.

JJackie This is an unforgettable resort, like being in a fairyland, with a lake next to it. The resort has many children's play facilities, which is very suitable for the whole family to play. On the other side of the river is Hatshepsut, the most beautiful town in the world. We stayed in a log cabin, which is rare for Asians like me to stay in. It was very romantic and dreamy here, and I didn't even want to leave. There is a small convenience store attached to the resort, which has a lot of food. The rooms have a full set of kitchen utensils and microwaves. After buying food in the store, you can go back to the holiday home and cook it. You don't have to worry about having nothing to eat. The bus stop to Hasutat is right in front of the resort. Accommodation here is twice as cheap as on the Hasselt side. After staying for the first night, I really wanted to stay one more day the next day, but unfortunately the hotel was full. The beautiful lady also gave me a free breakfast, which was the best breakfast I had during my trip. When checking out, the lady kindly asked me what I thought of the resort. I said I really wanted to stay for one more day, and the computer immediately checked for me again, but unfortunately there were no rooms available, so I had to leave and go to Hacienda to stay for one more day. I hope I can come back to this beautiful town next time and stay a few more days.

BBe-Live TodayThe hotel is a Marriott brand so they have strong attention to customers. Unfortunately I had some issues with the cleanness of the towel and water pressure in the shower and I reported it immediately. I received the full support from management. In particular, Taj from reception went above and beyond to help and make my stay enjoyable, Thank you so much Taj: those subtleties turn what could have remained a bad experience into an enjoyable memory. A big thank you to all the staff! A special thanks goes also to Laura, a young smiling girl in the breakfast service. She prepared delicious omelettes every morning with great care and love :) Thank you so much and wish you all the very best!
