"This is a fantastic hotel with excellent management. Since we booked a room at the last minute, it wasn't ready yet. The front desk helped us find a place to rest while we waited for our room key. After five minutes, they apologized for the wait and upgraded our room. The staff were incredibly welcoming; everyone greeted us proactively. The room was very comfortable, and I loved the decor—all the raw materials like wool, linen, wood, and stone. Entering the room felt incredibly relaxing; I really appreciated the natural materials. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Copenhagen; I loved it!"

"I booked to stay at Hotel Mayfair after my flight was cancelled and I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and there’s a really nice outside area as well as a gym. My room was very spacious, clean and decorated beautifully however I would have appreciated maybe a kettle and some tea and coffee in the room but that was available at the hotel lobby. The location was great very central just next to Tivoli Gardens with lots of food options in the area."

"First time staying in a capsule hotel and it was really fun! The bed was quite spacious, easily fitting two people, and it had internal air circulation, so no need to worry about feeling stuffy. It felt very safe for a solo female traveler (just remember to close your door properly). The communal bathrooms were also very clean. Overall, great experience, definitely worth trying!"

"Great location, within a 5-minute walk to the central station. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The suite is on the top floor (5th floor), which is a nice touch.
The room layout was a little unusual, with a narrow walkway and sloped ceilings due to the roof design. The shower area, including the alcove tub, felt somewhat awkward and may be less convenient for taller guests. There was also an RGB light above the shower, which was an interesting design choice (who uses red lighting for showering?)
The building has some old-world charm, though the room's floor creaked noticeably when walking around. The small balcony was pleasant, but the view was fairly average.
Overall, a good stay for the location, though some aspects of the room design could be improved."

It is relatively quiet because it is limited to adults. Breakfast is also very delicious.
The room was large and very cozy. The amenities were very substantial and I was happy to have a toothbrush. I have used the same series of hotels before, but I am glad that the eco and natural amenities are substantial. There are slippers in the room, but I think it is convenient to prepare sandals in the pool. It is highly recommended for those who want to spend a day at the hotel."

"The hotel room was spacious, had a fridge, and was well-lit. The air conditioning was just okay; to be honest, it was a bit warm, but bearable. Its location is really poor. It's not close to the Central Station, and even though the nearest station is already quite a distance, it still takes 20 minutes to walk, assuming you know the way, which involves passing through SLog station and walking behind the Villa Copenhagen Hotel. Next time, I definitely won't choose this hotel. The location is genuinely inconvenient; there are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, absolutely nothing, except for the bar downstairs at the hotel!"

The room, though not large, was well-designed, clean, and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and all basic amenities were provided. The bathroom was a bit compact, but perfectly functional for daily use. The hotel offers self-service check-in and check-out, which was simple and convenient.
The hotel's location is excellent, close to both the Ørestad Metro and train stations, all within walking distance. There's also the large Fields shopping center nearby. It's super convenient for getting to Copenhagen city center by metro or Copenhagen Airport by train, making it ideal for tourists.
Breakfast was also more extensive than I expected, with croissants, bread, ham, salami, cheese, eggs, and vegetables like cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers. There was a good variety, and it was a very decent hotel breakfast.
The only thing I think could be improved is the soundproofing in the rooms; it's a bit weak. Sometimes I could hear noise from the hallway or other rooms, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
Overall, with its convenient transportation, clean rooms, good breakfast, and decent value for money, it was a very satisfactory stay. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the city centre. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance, and the surroundings are beautiful and feel safe to walk around. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel with a direct connection to the airport, and Tivoli Gardens is extremely close by.
The hotel is always busy and lively. I was a little concerned about safety because I had to catch a bus to the airport at 3 a.m., but the bus stop was very close, and there were always people around the hotel area. The staff are also available 24/7.
You will be lucky if you get clean, quiet, and considerate roommates. The bathroom is quite small, and I think the lower bunk located right next to the bathroom is probably the most inconvenient bed, as you have to deal with quite a lot of noise. The lockers in the rooms are not large enough to fit a cabin-sized suitcase and can only accommodate a small backpack. You also need to bring your own padlock, and I would recommend bringing slippers as well. The bed itself looked clean, but the storage compartments and the gaps around the bed were quite dirty. However, considering how large and busy the hotel is, I can understand that it may be difficult to keep every area perfectly clean at all times.

Came here based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, but I have to say it's more about looks than functionality. The design is really strong, but the actual room functionality for staying here is pretty mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers. The room is very dark, only suitable for a leisurely stay. Overall, this hotel feels like it's all style and no substance.

KS-GermanyWakeup Copenhagen - Carsten Niebuhrs Gade: After a nightmare stay at City Hotel Nebo (Istedgade 6, 1650 København V, Denmark) where I couldn't sleep and my skin was itching due to dirty conditions including hair in the sink and no hygiene products available, Wakeup Copenhagen was my salvation. Immaculate cleanliness, modern minimalist room on 8th floor with marvelous city view, comfortable bed where I finally slept after 48 hours of exhaustion, clean shower with good water pressure, good quality breakfast, very good reception lobby, perfect location near Dybbølsbro Station (500m) and easy access to Copenhagen Bus Terminal for my FlixBus, excellent value at €62-70. Rating: 9/10. Compared to City Hotel Nebo (-3/10), this was heaven. The contrast was shocking - from dirty and uncomfortable to clean, modern, and peaceful. This hotel saved my trip and gave me the rest I needed to enjoy my last day in Copenhagen. Absolutely recommended for solo travelers who value cleanliness! Thank you Trip.com and Wakeup Copenhagen! 🙏

This hotel requires self check-in. The automated room assignment was a triple room. However, after checking in on the first day, I found that it didn't match the photos shown on Trip.com. There was no TV, and the bedside lamp was completely non-functional. When I informed the front desk (which is located in the sister hotel next door, Absalon Hotel), I was told that this room doesn't include a TV (but I later found there was clearly a TV monitor in the room). They claimed Trip.com made a mistake, and the front desk staff were unfriendly. They told me to speak to housekeeping myself about getting the lamp fixed. I had no choice but to contact Trip.com, and the platform was very proactive in helping me. However, the hotel's response was very passive. The hotel didn't even apologize initially and demanded that I bring my luggage downstairs and re-check in, even though I had already stayed one day. It was clearly the hotel's mistake and an act of deceiving the guest, yet they still demanded that I... The hotel's front desk requires going up stairs with luggage, and even after taking the elevator to the floor, there's another short flight of stairs to navigate. This is extremely inconvenient for a family traveling with 32-inch and 28-inch suitcases and backpacks. To experience the fun of different hotels during our trip, I also stayed at the sister hotel next door, Absalon Hotel. It was a complete contrast; the service attitude of the front desk at the two hotels was completely different. This is why I'm giving 'one star for service'!! (I don't even want to give one star).

smiytiWe had a good stay at Downtown hostel, the location was perfect and close to everything, the breakfast was good for the price, but i wish the check-in process was easier, for us and also the receptionists who were very helpful still but we kept having issues with our cabine room door, the digital code worked once in a while :(. The rooms are poorly soundproofed which was quite disturbing…also we forgot a console in our cabin room the day of our check out and contacted the hostel by email but never got an answer back…

The hostel was easy to find, few minutes from the metro which was important to me. Every staffmember was really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was welcoming. The tent was small for 4 persons but I knew that I will mostly just sleep there, the bed was comfortable and clean. I read in other reviews that a curtain would be nice, I agree with that also. The bathroom was really big, plenty of showers and toilets, there was hot water every time which was also important to me. I had breakfast on a few days, which was also good and I really liked sitting in the outside tables, I also had a chance to connect with other travellers every day. On the last day I left my luggage in one of the lockers so I could explore the city freely, that was also a good bonus. They provided earplugs, which I used during my sleep, overall all ”campers” were respectful and quiet after 10 pm but still it was a lot of people in a small space. For solo travellers this is a good choice as the hotel prices are 4-5 times higher.
