The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, within walking distance. I didn't use the hotel breakfast, so I can't comment on that. However, I had an unpleasant experience during my stay. The hotel policy might be to provide only one small bottle of water per day. On my first day, I used my own large bottle of water. On the second day, I returned from Abu Simbel very thirsty. The small bottle of water provided on the first night wasn't enough. So, I went to the front desk to ask for another bottle of water. The front desk staff initially told me to buy one myself. I then explained that I had booked for two nights, so I asked if I could get the water for the second night since there was only one bottle in the room today. The front desk checked their records and said it had already been placed in the room. I told them I couldn't find it and only had yesterday's bottle. They said they would send someone up with it later, but no one ever brought it, even after waiting all night. When I checked out at around 5 AM the next morning, I opened the mini-fridge and found a small bottle of water. I apologized to them at checkout, saying I had found the water. But the reality is that everyone I met throughout my trip along the Nile in Egypt was very kind, and this small bottle of water left me a bit disappointed. I hope the hotel can improve its service; guests are more important than a small bottle of water. Perhaps this is characteristic of Aswan. If you book this hotel, make sure to bring enough bottled water, especially if there are many people.

The Nubian Village has many narrow alleys, so if you're traveling by business car, you'll need to pay attention to the route. The transportation is a bit far from the pier. Tuktuks are popular for short-distance travel within the village. Breakfast service is quite leisurely, so if you're in a hurry, it's best to inform them in advance. They thoughtfully provide bags for takeout breakfast, but dining in offers a much tastier and more abundant meal! Occasionally, there might be an inconvenient water outage, but it usually returns to normal after a while. If you report it to the front desk, they'll provide bottled water as a temporary solution. Even with the same room type, the level of newness can vary between different floors. This is because, according to their customs, they only build upwards when they have more money, so the houses aren't built all at once. The higher the floor, the newer and better the facilities. The restaurant upstairs is delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend eating there whether you're a guest or not! The guesthouse is very cozy, and no one will ask you for tips. Instead, they genuinely welcome you and offer any assistance you need. The owner, in particular, is incredibly kind. This wasn't the most well-equipped accommodation I stayed at during my trip to Egypt, but it was definitely the warmest, most memorable, most grateful, and most like coming home. If I ever visit Egypt again, I'll be back here. :)

Wonderful service - guard and porter at the front, efficient front desk, upgraded to a Nile room. Pool side was great with a view of the Nile, plenty of chairs and fresh towels,  although bar staff sometimes a little slow on drink and food refills this could be forgiven Buffet breakfast had a good selection including eggs made to order, staff very attentive Dinner selection was OK but again great service 

Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Egypt, this one wasn't cheap, but the experience was just okay. The photos made it look great, but the hotel itself isn't that big. It's located on a hill next to the Old Cataract, so walking back means a steep climb. I even had an unreliable driver try to charge extra just because of the hill – unbelievable! 😓 The front desk staff's attitude was so-so, and they gave me a ground-floor room. I seriously suspect the housekeeping staff tampered with my foundation bottle. The cap was open, and a few drops had spilled out. The more I thought about it later, the more I realized it definitely wasn't my doing. If you're staying here, I'd recommend keeping your personal items locked in your luggage! The buffet restaurant's food was mediocre, but the coffee was decent.

Everything in this hotel was amazing ”the view , cleanliness , staff , and food ” you feel like it's not just a hotel , but like you're with your family and you never want to leave they have a really nice restaurant , i highly recommend trying the food there specially thanks for Rowan & Aya for their hospitality

Crystala Guest House is located on Elephantine Island in Aswan, offering a quiet atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Be careful not to get scammed by overpriced boats; there's a public ferry right next to the pier that costs only 15 EGP per person. I highly recommend contacting the owner via WhatsApp before you arrive. He'll give you clear instructions on how to get there and how to take the ferry, which will help you avoid being overcharged and make your entire stay much smoother.

Next to the hotel is the pedestrian street, travel, dining, shopping are very convenient, the service is very thoughtful, we arrived early and arranged to stay, the hotel is also very close to the Nile.

I had an excellent stay at Malindy Ka Nubian House in Aswan. The hospitality of Mr Mohamed was truly outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly, helpful, and always prompt in responding to any questions or requests. Mr. Mohamed guided us very well during our stay and helped with everything we needed in Aswan, including local travel tips and arrangements. The Abu Simbel tour arrangements were very good and budget-friendly, which made the experience smooth and comfortable. The location itself is peaceful and quiet, giving a beautiful experience of Nubian culture and lifestyle. The artistic paintings and decorations both inside and outside the property were beautiful and added a unique cultural touch to the stay. The room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. Even a late-night dinner was quickly arranged for us, which we truly appreciated. If guests have any specific food preferences, it is better to inform them earlier so they can check the availability and prepare accordingly. For travelers arriving at Aswan Airport, using the Indrive app can also be very helpful for transportation. Overall, everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful experience staying here. I highly recommend Malindy Ka Nubian House to anyone visiting Aswan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top 5-Star Experience!

Overall, I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. The biggest advantage: you won't find Aswan dirty, chaotic, or noisy while staying here. The guesthouse is located on a small island near Philae Temple, extremely quiet and beautiful. We originally planned to visit Aswan city or the Old Falls, but immediately changed our minds after checking in. We simply enjoyed tea and meals at the guesthouse, gazing at Lake Nasser and the distant Philae Temple – so pleasant! In the evening, we took the boat the owner booked to the temple, which went smoothly, eliminating the hassle of haggling over shared boat fares. The rooms were clean, the facilities were great, and the food was excellent. Areas for improvement: Considering the price, the cleanliness could be improved. I noticed the area under the toilet seat wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. Otherwise, everything was great.

The hotel is located in a rather remote area, making it a good stopover for those driving. The breakfast was poor, with nothing particularly appealing. The water park was closed, and the surrounding environment was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.
