"I’ll start by saying the location was perfect! right in the centre of town and close to transport links, restaurants, and shops. The hotel itself could benefit from a refresh and some updates, as certain heating appliances were not fully reliable and only seemed to work once the outside temperature reached a certain level. That said, I found the staff helpful throughout my stay and overall I had a pleasant experience. I’d definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area in the future."

"Fantastic location right in the city center, just behind the Old Market. It's a quick 5-minute walk to the castle and the Robinson statue. There's a bus stop right downstairs, making it super easy to get to the train station. The room was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortable, not too soft or too firm. They even had a Nespresso machine with coffee pods! My only minor complaints are that the facilities are a bit dated and the room is on the smaller side. The breakfast was a good English continental spread with a nice variety, especially plenty of fresh fruit, and you could order freshly made eggs or omelets. Service was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were quick. They even offer free apples in the lobby, though the air freshener scent in the lobby felt a bit cheap. Overall, great value for money, much cheaper than London with bigger rooms, better facilities, and a superior breakfast."

"The service is very friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Clean room and well maintained toilet.
However:
1. Because it locate at city centre, it gets all kinds of annoying noises from the streets, all the way to 02:00 am.
2. Because the facility is old, the walls and windows are too thin, unable to lower down the noises from the streets and from other rooms. If someone walks heavily or talks loudly, your sleep will be affected."

"Really good stay, very central and easy to get around. The spa and leisure facilities wasn’t the best, a lot of students so wasn’t very relaxing but the gym had good equipment and in the mornings it was great.
Football was on which was an added bonus and food was pretty good.

"Having never stayed over in Nottingham we wanted somewhere central and St James BW Premier was excellent in our view. We chose an executive room which had everything we wanted and was bigger than we expected. Breakfast was in a tasteful and warmly decorated room which was perfect for our Xmas market weekend “feel”. My husband said the breakfast was the best he had had during a hotel break stay.
The service was excellent too with a clean well stocked room and a friendly receptionist. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely come back if staying over in Nottingham again!"

"Car park, quite room, comfortable bed, good shower and excellent breakfast. I had read a few neutral reviews but my stay exceeded expectations. I had everything I needed and wanted. I had a room overlooking the carpark which was very quiet. I will stay here again. Walking distance (19mins) to central West Bridgford, easy walk to trams and bus stop outside hotel."

"As i was attending a funeral of a dear family member, I was very pleased with the location and more importantly the cleanlines and stress free stay at the orchard hotel. My room was very spacious and clean. The staff were wonderful and helpful in every aspect. The food in the restaurant was above par and well deserved. a trip to Nottingham would definatly warrant a further stay at this hotel. 5 star for definate and would certainly stay again. JJessacoThe whole stay was great, I needed somewhere to stay while work was being carried out on my house. The rooms are spacious and have bathtubs, there was a big desk for me to work at and the internet connection was perfect, I had multiple video conferences and it never dropped once. Housekeeping were kind enough to check if I needed anything everyday, and reception staff were super friendly.
Right next to a massive national trust property had some beautiful autumn walks
However there is absolutely no phone signal (Vodafone)obviously nothing to do with the hotel it’s just extra info about the area!

GGuest UserService on arrival was friendly and informative. Parking was £10 per day and is under cover next to the accommodation. We requested a room away from the lift and this was given to us but it was very quiet and we didn’t hear any noise. The room and room size was enough for what we needed although given it was a room for 2, and we had cooking facilities, there was only one chair at the table so we to eat on our lap. The only other thing for me, was that although we were only there for 3 nights, there was no room service so our bins did not get emptied, by day 4 they were overflowing and smelt. They gave one dishwasher tablet only, a washing up sponge, tea towel and washing up liquid but nothing to wipe down the surfaces. The bathroom facilities were ok, shower hot and powerful. Again, the sink in the bathroom was high for me, not sure how a child would reach the sink. There was a complementary drinks and croissant station but personally the coffee was not to my taste. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend staying there, it is very central to everything.

TTerrence@middlewichTraveling with a group of six, we booked two rooms, each with two double beds. The rooms were decent, and the bathroom and toilet were ideal, with shampoo and shower gel provided. However, the middle of the beds sagged quite a bit. It felt like a minor issue while sleeping, but I woke up with severe back pain.

BBB TUSKAI had a lovely one-night stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep.
The hotel itself was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to get around.
Although my stay was only for one night, it was a very positive experience. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

BBenjamin ArthurA lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.
