The location is super convenient, just under a five-minute walk from JR Kannai Station. There are also plenty of food options nearby; I originally wanted to try the Italian restaurant downstairs, but it seemed to be under renovation during the National Day holiday. If you're looking for a large drugstore, you'll need to walk a bit further. The room size was decent, but it's a bit old, and the facilities are a bit dated and not super clean, with dust in several spots. Overall, it's good value for money.
I booked a corner room and was quite disappointed when I saw it in person. One window faced another building very closely, making it impossible to open the curtains. A third of the other window was blocked by a large pillar, resulting in a worse view than a standard room. Moreover, the room layout felt impractical; some areas were unusable, and the actual feeling didn't match the stated size. Because of this, I discussed changing rooms with Trip.com customer service and the hotel front desk the next morning. Although we ended up switching to a slightly cheaper and smaller room, it didn't have the uncomfortable feeling of the corner room, so I felt much better. During this process, Ms. Jiudao from the hotel was very sincere and patiently explained things, working hard with us to find a solution. More importantly, Trip.com customer service showed exceptional professionalism, thoroughly considering our needs, responding quickly, and communicating effectively. We were especially touched by how they handled some issues after we checked out and returned home.
Best place to stay.Station is very near. The hotel is clean and have breakfast available. Decent breakfast.i love to stay again.Indian food is available nearby.
The only thing is bathrooms are small but manageble.
The location is very centralize and near to restaurants and shopping streets in Yokohama.
The staff are very polite and very helpful, which make me feel very privileged.
The room is clean and ecologically following the nature saving regilayions.

Overall, this is a pretty clean hotel. The room was spacious and quite new, perfectly adequate for two people, and the bed was also a good size. However, its location is a bit far from Yokohama Station. You'll need to walk 5 to 10 minutes to Shin-Yokohama Station first, then transfer trains to Yokohama Station. The price was very affordable; at just 208 for one night, it offered excellent value for money. Plus, the Ramen Museum is conveniently located right next door, where you can enjoy making your own ramen and explore the exhibits.
Opened just a year ago after a complete renovation, this is a very modern hotel. Since all the ground-floor, ocean-facing spaces are restaurants, the hotel lobby is uniquely located on the 12th floor. This scenic lobby also doubles as a café, where guests can sit on the outdoor balcony overlooking the view. There's a designated smoking area by the side entrance of the lobby.
The facilities are brand new, and the layout is clean, spacious, and stylish. We stayed in a triple room, and even with suitcases open, there was still plenty of space – perfectly suited to Chinese guests' preferences. The bedding is high quality and available for purchase.
Let's talk about breakfast. Upon check-in, guests are informed of two options: Japanese breakfast, served at the 12th-floor café, and Western breakfast, served at the 1st-floor Western restaurant. The Japanese option offers three set menus, while the Western option features four main sets. After ordering, you can help yourself to the buffet bar for salads, drinks, bread, and more. The Western breakfast was so delicious that we didn't get a chance to try the Japanese one.
Regarding the hotel's location, opinions may vary. Most people might choose to stay in Sakuragicho or Minato Mirai, as this hotel is a bit off the beaten path, situated near Yamashita Park. The Summer Festival is held here, allowing visitors to truly experience the atmosphere of traditional Japanese festivals. The hotel faces the sea, directly opposite the Hikawa Maru ocean liner. As the only surviving international ocean liner from WWII, it's definitely worth boarding and exploring. It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the subway station, providing easy access to all Yokohama stops. Directly across the street is a bus stop with direct service to Haneda Airport, with buses running almost every hour. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find Takashimaya department store; Chinatown is 10 minutes away, as is a massive Don Quijote store. A lifestyle plaza is a 20-minute walk, and there's also a Montbell outlet store where we spent four hours. This outlet store offers tax-free shopping, but it requires downloading a third-party app and incurs a 3% service fee, which makes the process a bit inconvenient.
Yokohama truly lives up to its reputation as an international port city. Around the hotel, you'll find a wide array of Western restaurants, with impeccable ambiance and cuisine, and even handsome waiters. It's a very cosmopolitan city.

The hotel's location offers pretty convenient transportation. While the building itself seems a bit dated and the overall environment is just average, the front desk staff were notably friendly and welcoming. The room was quite small, but it did come with all the basic amenities, including an air purifier and a refrigerator. The main downside is that prices double on weekends, which makes it feel quite overpriced and not great value for money.
However, its convenient proximity to various attractions is a significant advantage. Sakuragicho Station, from where you can take the ropeway to the Ferris wheel, is just a few minutes' walk away. It's also not far from Yamashita Park and the Red Brick Warehouse, making all these popular spots easily accessible.
The location is super convenient, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It's really easy to get to Tokyo, and the area feels very safe at night and is generally quiet. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and they offer luggage storage. Plus, there's a good variety of toiletries provided.
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The surroundings are excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel has direct access to a shopping mall with a supermarket, and the subway station is just a 2-minute walk away. The second floor connects to an elevated walkway. The area has a very modern city vibe, which I really liked. You can even see Mount Fuji in the distance.

The facilities in the house are relatively complete, including toilet and bath, microwave, hot water, refrigerator, air conditioner and TV. The decoration is new and clean. The key is that it is very close to Sakuragicho Station, which is very convenient. Although the single room is small, it is of good quality and low price. It is close to Yemao Mountain and the port, has many attractions and is convenient for life.

Very Good
GGuest UserI spent a wonderful night here during New Year's Eve. The waiter barely understands people and foreign languages, but he is friendly and good at communication. I booked a public bathroom first, but then I changed it to a private bath when there was room. My satisfaction improved a lot! The hotel is very close to Hakoyō-Yumoto Station, and the taxi cost was less than 1,000 yen. Later, we couldn't get a taxi and it was very comfortable for us to walk to the station for 15 minutes with our children🏳️🌈
11346676****Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu Hotel was an amazing experience! The hotel boasts multiple natural hot springs with a rich variety of baths and breathtaking scenery; soaking in them left me feeling completely refreshed. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with stylish Japanese decor that ensures privacy. The dinner buffet was exquisite, featuring fresh and delicious ingredients. The staff were warm and attentive, always greeting guests with a smile. Its convenient location also offers easy access to transportation. Both the facilities and service truly reflect the high quality of Japanese onsen hotels. Highly recommended!
11360173****Ryori-yaku (restaurant name), the hot springs in Hakone are unparalleled, but the food here really deserves mention. I've been to Ryori-yaku in Izu before, and compared to that, this one probably suits my taste better. It's not as sweet, so the food is refreshing and not cloying. The only downside is that the rooms are really small—every inch of space is precious!
AAnonymous UserWe booked a hot spring hotel on short notice and were very satisfied with it. We arrived early and could not check in until after 3:30 pm, but fortunately we could leave our luggage at the hotel. The staff helped us make the bed when we were having dinner in the evening. There was a rich variety of dinner, but we didn’t really like the side dishes. It would have been better if the side dishes were replaced with sashimi. We even had a surprise dessert after the meal, which made us very happy. The breakfast the next day was also very filling and delicious. The experience is very good and recommended for staying.
SSijiepannaketelinxiangruThis hotel is an absolute steal for the price! The room is well-equipped, the AC heats and cools quickly, and the hot water supply is stable. The cleanliness is impeccable, with not a speck of dust even in the corners. Despite being in the city center, the room is surprisingly quiet. The breakfast isn't lavish, but it offers a good variety and everything is fresh. The front desk staff is very responsive and quick to address any needs. The value for money far exceeds expectations, highly recommended for budget travelers.
JJiatengSince it was my first time making a reservation, I had some trouble getting into the room, but they responded quickly so there was no problem. The accommodation fee was cheap, so I was able to spend more money on sightseeing. There were convenience stores, restaurants, and parking lots nearby, so it was comfortable.

AAnonymous UserGood
1. Free breakfast
2. Breakfast had lots of bread variety
3. Free drink machine (soft drinks & coffee w matcha latte!)
4. Have free amenities for you to take
5. Location is near station and lots of shops surrounding too
Neutral:
- 2x washing machine & dryer but because of their popularity, have to fight for a chance to use them
Bad
- can be quite confusing to get to if you don’t go from station but the surrounding shops
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a wonderful location, very close to the station and surrounded by many nice cafés. It’s also convenient to have a large and clean Don Quijote and a big pharmacy just a couple of minutes away, and there is a konbini right on the ground floor.
The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious, offering both Japanese and Western options.
One downside was that my special request to stay away from the elevator (I clearly mentioned it when booking on Trip.com) didn’t seem to be noticed, as I was given the closest room to it! No other rooms were that close. I was very tired after traveling and didn’t go back to reception to ask for a change, especially since the staff kindly allowed me to check in an hour earlier than the official time. Surprisingly, it was not noisy at all during the night, so it didn’t bother me.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I would appreciate more attention to guest requests in the future.
AANASTASIIA_BERDNIKOVAThis hotel is a paradise in the mountains of Hakone! Traditional style of the rooms - it feels like you are living in a Japanese family. We were prepared a traditional dinner, which was served in our room. It was very tasty and varied! The hotel has 3 onsen: 2 - private, 1 - public. We visited only the private ones (you need to book a time in advance at the reception upon check-in, the visit time is 30 minutes). It was wonderful! The hotel also provides a transfer from and to the nearest train stations. The rooms are clean, cozy, we slept on tatami under soft blankets. The hotel has a relax room. With massage chairs and a very quiet atmosphere. We stayed in this room after visiting the onsen and got great relaxation. And you are also given national clothes for rest and sleep. It is very beautiful and cute. Breakfasts were also in kaiseki style - varied and unusual. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. this hotel allows tattoo baths. great experience, thank you very much! want to come back again!
