"When I booked, I chose this place because it looked close to the subway. However, with luggage, it's at least a good ten-minute walk, so it's not as close as I hoped. It's not too far from the main shopping areas like Namba and Shinsaibashi, but not exactly close either. The room is tiny; it's hard to open a large suitcase. The strict 3 PM check-in policy is quite inconvenient. For 1500 (yen?) for three people, including breakfast, it's an acceptable deal."

"Dear Hotel Management,
I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter.
On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately.
When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later.
If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email.

"It was an easy walk from ShinImamiya station ( that has direct line to/ fro Kansai airport ) to the hotel, I was greeted with friendly hotel staffs. Check in was seamless and fuss free . Room was clean , reasonable size and it was comfy in term of bed size and lovely pillows , with very cute PJ , fitted with bath tub, plenty of food option , with a Mega Donki, Sugi pharmacy for late night shopping.
Being in Shinsekai mean lot of food options, and nearby subway / JR lines made easy and seamless travel to many places.
Love the place and will definitely stay there again :)"

"This Hotel Vischio Osaka by JR West is in an absolutely fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Higobashi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Nakanoshima and the Science Museum. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. The hotel itself has a charming retro-luxury vibe, and the rooms are spotless. The in-room dryer is a lifesaver for travelers, and the large windows offer great views and plenty of natural light. Since it opened in 2020, all the facilities are modern and new. It's generally quiet and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room by myself, and there was plenty of space, and the bedding was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. It offers great value for money, and the flexible free cancellation policy is a bonus. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Osaka's Nishi district. I'll be staying here again!"

"I always opt for five-star hotels when I travel, but summer prices were just too high this year. So, I took a friend's recommendation and booked this place instead. 👍
It's about an hour from Kansai Airport, and Exit 13 is the closest to the hotel. The downside is there's no elevator there, so if you have a lot of luggage, I'd suggest Exit 16, which has one.
The hotel's service and facilities are excellent. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – we slept soundly every night. The location is also fantastic, about a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. We stayed for five nights this time and visited Kobe and Kyoto. The Chuo and Midosuji subway lines right downstairs were super convenient.
I have to mention one particular incident. Check-out was at 11 AM, and our flight wasn't until 5 PM on the last day. Thinking we had plenty of time, my child and I went to Nipponbashi that morning. It wasn't until we got there that I remembered check-out was at 11! Luckily, my mother wasn't with us; she was having coffee at a cafe across from the hotel. I immediately contacted her and asked her to rush back to check out. But to our surprise, her Huawei phone couldn't connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi when she got back, and the only Pocket Wi-Fi device was with me! 😵💫 Since the reservation was under my name, the front desk needed to confirm check-out with me personally. But there was a language barrier, and my mom had no internet. She was incredibly flustered at that moment. Just then, a Chinese-speaking staff member appeared. He first calmed her down, telling her not to worry and that he would find a way to contact me, also explaining that the hotel's network was often unstable. He then took out a device and tried to connect her phone to the Wi-Fi in the lobby, but after many attempts, it didn't work. So, he took my mother back to the room and tried many more times until it finally connected, and he was able to reach me... His professionalism and meticulous work attitude deeply touched our entire family. We'd like to express our gratitude once again! I will definitely choose Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi again next time I visit Osaka. 👍"

"This hotel in Osaka was a delightful surprise! The location is absolutely fantastic – just a few minutes' walk from the subway station and the Shinsaibashi shopping district. It's super convenient for buying Sanrio items, cosmetics, and grabbing some onigiri.

"This was my second stay here. The first time, I had a room for two people and it was tiny. This time, I booked a triple room and they upgraded us, which made it much more spacious. The location is super convenient; it's about a 5-6 minute walk from Nihonbashi subway station. Getting to the airport is easy too, as the airport shuttle stop is just a five-minute walk away. Dotonbori is right across the street, and Shinsaibashi is within walking distance. There are also plenty of drugstores nearby for shopping, and a 7-Eleven just a short walk down the street, which is always packed and bustling. The only downside is that the hotel's washing machines are always in use. I tried to use one countless times on my first day, carrying my dirty laundry back and forth, but it was still busy even past 1 AM. I finally managed to use one at 3:30 PM the next day."

HHeiressjloThe room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!

FFabairimengdexiaolongIf you're going to Universal Studios Japan, you HAVE to stay here! You can't get any closer to the park. I took the Shinki Bus directly from Sannomiya, Kobe, to the park entrance, and then it was just a short walk to the hotel. You can drop off your luggage first; they have a dedicated luggage storage room. The front desk will give you a card to access it and can even exchange coins for you to use in the lockers. The coins are returned after you retrieve your luggage. The room facilities are complete and comfortable, and the room itself is super spacious! The bathroom and toilet are even separate, which is very convenient! Even though I only stayed one night, I already fell in love with this hotel. Breakfast was also incredibly satisfying, with a huge variety of options, and you can even look out at the park from the window – it was truly delightful.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right in front of Dotonbori Street, but it's not a noisy area. There are convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk (1km) from Namba Station, which is manageable when coming from the airport. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast includes bread, drinks, and coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious! Amenities are self-service on the first floor. You need to request new towels daily. Room cleaning is done once every three nights. The room itself is small, but having experienced even smaller rooms before, this size was acceptable.

I booked a high-floor twin room with a bay view, and you can see the ocean. The room has a modern, minimalist design with complete facilities. There's a convenience store downstairs, and Rinku Premium Outlets is just a few minutes' walk away, making it a paradise for shoppers. It's generally quiet and comfortable, perfect for a rest after landing or for a stopover before heading home. Great value for money.
I was also lucky enough to catch a fireworks display over the ocean on the night I checked in. It would have been even better if the front desk had mentioned it during check-in.

Don Quijote, Ichiran Ramen, Bic Camera, and the Glico Running Man sign are all just a few minutes' walk away. Shinsaibashi is also just around the corner. It's incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and sightseeing. There's a microwave available on the first floor of the hotel. Having visited Japan a few times, I'm used to small hotel rooms now. We booked a triple room for three adults and one child, and it was perfectly fine. Despite being in a bustling area, it was surprisingly quiet at night.

IIAN OBOLENSKIII really liked the ventilation in the capsule. It was cold in the hallway where the capsules are at night because the air conditioning was on. There were no odors, so the capsule itself felt fresh too. I'm not sure how the ventilation is set up, but I was pleased with it. The common area on, I think, the 10th floor was usually empty, so I could sit and eat alone, which I also liked.
After this, I stayed at a couple more capsule hostels in Japan, and this one was the best in terms of the capsule design and living area.
My only complaints were with the kitchen and cooking facilities. But for sleeping, it's an excellent option. The showers and toilets were great too.

Although breakfast was Japanese style, there were many options, and I thought it was even better than the breakfast at the hotel in Kyobashi.

I had a wonderful stay at Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They made the check-in process smooth and were always available whenever I had questions throughout my stay.
The hostel offers check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM. One feature I especially appreciated was that guests are still welcome to use the spacious common area until 8:00 PM after check-out. This is incredibly convenient if you have a late departure, need a place to rest after shopping, or simply want to relax before heading to the airport or station.
The facility itself is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. One of my favorite features was the large common area, which provided a comfortable space to relax, work, eat, or socialize with other guests. The common area also offers complimentary hot and cold water, as well as tea, which was a thoughtful touch and a nice way to unwind after a day of exploring the city.
The bathrooms and toilets were spotless throughout my stay. The shower rooms were equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the sinks and vanity area were spacious, making it easy to get ready without feeling crowded.

The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby all night. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The facilities are excellent, offering great value for money, and I truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it!
