[Best hotel for travel and business use]
Located in front of Imari Station (about 1 minute walk from JR side), it is convenient for travel and business use anyway.
In addition, there are many thankful elements such as hot spring facilities, free of charge for guests, and free drinks and breakfast after check-in.
Room is clean and new
Balcony so comfortable for morning breeze
Large deluxe room
A bit tight for standard twins
Western Breakfast is nicer than jap
24 hour supermarket nearby
Convenient shopping
The hotel was very basic and had everything we needed. Close to the train station and near restaurants you can't go too wrong. The only issue was the strong bleach smell we first encountered when we entered the room, and the walls were super thin. We could hear our neighbor coughing and snoring.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially if your budget allows for it!
The room windows offer direct views of the moat, and the hotel is incredibly close to attractions like the hot air balloon festival grounds and shrines.
**Transportation:** From Saga Station, you can take the Showa Bus (towards Karatsu) directly to the hotel. Alternatively, the most convenient option is to simply take a taxi.
**Service:** I absolutely have to commend the hotel's front desk staff! They were an enormous help! Due to heavy rains in the Kyushu region, I found myself stranded in Saga and had difficulty getting around. I wanted to arrange for my luggage to be sent directly to my next hotel in Fukuoka. A lady wearing glasses at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with filling out the Takkyubin (luggage delivery service) forms. Even though the courier company ultimately couldn't guarantee delivery to my next hotel before my departure due to the heavy rain, the hotel staff's assistance was invaluable and greatly appreciated!
**Dining:** When it's too hot in summer, taking a break at the hotel's first-floor cafe, sipping coffee and enjoying the views, is a fantastic way to relax. (The Baumkuchen is delicious!)
This hotel is small but has everything you need. It's comfortable and clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They always greet you with a smile and a nod when you enter the lobby, which is a nice touch. On the first floor, they serve a complimentary breakfast buffet in the mornings, which I found to have a good variety of options. At other times, it seems to be available as a reservable study room (I'm not sure if there's a fee) with free tea, perfect for reading or working. Its location right next to Saga Station is super convenient. Supermarkets and restaurants seem to be concentrated in this area, and the bus center is also nearby. Overall, it's a really good value for money hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Saga for a leisurely trip.
This is a sauna resort, where you could have access to the sauna and then have some food at the lounge after a whole day's work.
The rooms are traditional Japanese-style beds and design, with a little balcony looking at the ocean view.
For the breakfast buffet, I am extremely satisfied, where the cleanliness and hygiene are very good, and the food taste is also delicious. It is an international style buffet, having different kinds of food from different countries, but the resort still insisted on keeping the Japanese corner, in which it is my very first time to try out such a high-quality Japanese standard breakfast in my whole lifetime, and I would say it is really amazing and worth coming again!!
Booked an ocean view room (with breakfast and dinner) to celebrate my husband's birthday, tried to ask the hotel a few weeks before departure if a cake could be prepared, was rejected, and no other options (such as ordering a cake on behalf of others are also possible) or arrangements were offered. On the day of arrival, there was a welcome cake for guests 😅, I didn't understand why I couldn't help prepare a birthday cake. This hotel is not recommended if you want to celebrate a birthday or special day.
The rooms were large and the sea view was beautiful, but the quality of the restaurant's buffet dinner was average, and the food and service were really disappointing for a 4-star hotel. The stay was sparsely populated and the occupancy rate seemed not high. Delayed check-out for an hour, the charge is JPY6050, which is quite expensive. overall experience average, stay once is enough, will not return visit.
Just a 2-minute walk from JR station, located right on the shopping street with plenty of great food and shops nearby. The room was clean, and the service was warm and welcoming. They even have shared laundry machines, a dryer, microwave, and a fridge, which was a very thoughtful touch. Breakfast was simple, just milk and bread, but it tasted good. It would be even better if there were more options.
The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from the South Exit of JR Takeo-Onsen Station! Check-in is after 3 PM, and the staff are very welcoming. There's a main building and an annex, and you use your room key card to access your room. At the front desk, you can find free toothbrushes, coffee, bath towels, and wooden combs. It's a shame they don't offer small packets of skincare products. Also, drinking water isn't provided in the room! There isn't a convenience store right outside the hotel, but there's a small supermarket inside the JR station.
Breakfast is a simple buffet with both Japanese and Western options; the milk is delicious! The annex on the 8th floor has a public bath and a laundry room, and the rooms are quite spacious. You can borrow bicycles from the front desk to get around. Overall, it's a great stay!
very lovely place! it is new (opened in July 2025). The service from when your car is in the porch (There's a valet), till check out, it was perfect. The onsen was great. It's not as warm as the others but it makes staying in the onsen longer possible. Was pleasantly surprised about the complementary dinner and breakfast! Dinner was great and was paced out so it was just nice. For breakfast it was a buffet spread that was great! I love the selection and freshness. It is in between mountains so the drive might be long but so worth it for the price

GGuest UserI recommended traveling to Ureshino bus center (not interchange*) by bus from Hakata bus terminal if you weren't driving. I stayed in their standard room type. Bathing at their shared onsen was an experience. The facility was very clean. Ureshino onsen water would be what you came here for. The amenities were nice too. They offered excellent breakfast at 2,200 yen. It was a buffet line using local ingredients. While in the area try Yococho, izakaya sampo, and buy some ureshino green tea.
GGuest UserIf you have something to do in the area, you can book at a good price and have no expectations.
After arriving, I found that although the room is a container house, no matter the appearance of the room, the room is very new and clean. Check-in was in the middle of summer in Japan, and the daytime temperature was as high as 37 degrees. And the new air-conditioning in the room is very cold enough, it is worthy of praise!
The front desk also provides a map of nearby restaurants, and the service is intimate!

AAnchjovyLoved the private onsen experience! Breakfast was especially delicious, highly recommend not skipping it for sleeping in, the tofu porridge is something I’ll crave forever.
If you’re arriving by train, there’s a guest info center next to the train station where you can ask them to call the property to pick you up! Very convenient.
Room was immaculate with lots of amenities. Felt incredibly pampered. Location is a little far off from the convenience shops, but there are a number of things to sight-see and nice restaurants within 30mins walking distance.
AAliceLiuThe rooms are comfortable and very clean, the location is convenient, and the hotel facilities are complete. The hotel staff, in particular, are all super nice and lovely! Two charming young ladies had sweet smiles and were very welcoming; Mr. Matsufuji was incredibly supportive and helpful, solving our problems and ensuring we had a worry-free trip. There was also a kind foreign gentleman who was always ready to assist. In short, Fairfield's service left us with unforgettable memories, and these wonderful staff members are why we would choose the Fairfield brand again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ureshino.
GGuest UserThe female dorm has a security entrance, so I felt safe staying here.
There is a shopping area just behind the hotel, and lots of eateries available. The Kumamoto castle is also within walking distance.
The washroom's cleanliness and amenities are tip top. There are no complaints. There is also a washing machine and dryer which is convenient if you need to do some laundry during your travels.
There is also a female bath but I didn't have time so I have no comments on that.
There was also a rest area for dining which is good for people who wants to eat take-away or convenience store foods. There is a hot water provider and microwave, but there was no drinking water supply. (I guess you'll need to buy bottled water, which in this case, there are several vending machines within the premise)
EEvon Foo.We chose to stay here because hotels in Fukuoka were very expensive, and since we had the JR Pass, this location right beside the Tosu station was super convenient. The room was very clean, and the facilities were great — especially the included breakfast! It was a wonderful chance to try local Japanese dishes, and I really enjoyed it. The breakfast starts as early as 6:30am, which was very thoughtful — I still remember rushing to catch the 6:50am train to Fukuoka after eating, and I even had 5 minutes to spare, haha!
Staff were friendly and helpful, though English communication was a bit more limited — probably because it’s not a major station area. Still, everyone had a great attitude and tried their best. Overall, a very satisfying stay!
LLebalemaA great hotel with only 16 rooms. We booked 2 rooms, one with an outdoor hot spring facing the sea, and one with a bathtub. We booked a one-night stay with two nights. Dinner included large shrimps with bamboo crabs, especially the crab roe rice, which was very special.
The hotel facilities are also good, the rooms are large, and there are rest areas.
The only drawback is the transportation, there is no public transportation. We drove by ourselves, and the hotel could also pick us up at the nearest station on the same day.
