My biggest mistake of this trip to Yamagata is to book this hotel. It's a good hotel but it's in the middle of nowhere. You will want to stay around the city of Yamagata province which is also called Yamagata city just so you can get to famous tourist spots. However this is 4 hours away from all of these. I had to book another hotel so I can stay 1 day in the city when I wanted to visit these places and the traveling time just completely made me exhausted. It took like 1 day to go to a place and 1 day to go back. It was so terrible, I was crying. This place is closed to Shonai airport not Yamagata airport so I also had to book another flight from Shonai. I wasted so much money for transportation. It was such a terrible experience. However the hotel is incredibly beautiful with smart design in everything. I loved the onsen very much. If it was just a vacation/restcation for relaxing purpose or isolate yourself from the human word, it's the best choice for you. Since its in the middle of the endless rice field, there is nothing to eat except for paying very high price to eat at the hotel's restaurant. And the food was just okay. The beauty of this hotel was like a trap. Its like I was blind from its beauty and couldn't see all other disavantages.

Skiing access is super convenient. It's just a minute's walk to the only Lawson. There's a dedicated ski storage area right at the entrance. A shuttle service to and from the station is also available. The food is delicious, and the dinner menu changes daily.

Japanese Ryokan Stylel was nice. It closed to ski resort very convenient if you plan to play ski too. If you come in winter. You can see outside view from your room with a lot of snow. That's was great.

There is a parking service, but I believe it is not convenient to drive, the only thing is that you can choose not to eat dinner, outside less than ten minutes drive have restaurant options, although the hotel has been a while but maintenance done very well, I do not know if the room has a private soup, public soup used 3 times is no one 😅 , 08:00-10:00 tea and coffee!

The hotel has scale, although it has some history, but the interior as well as the rooms are well decorated! This time this room is the most expensive, but the room has a private garden and private bath, the family soaking in the hot spring is very happy. The room has the latest TV to watch YouTube and Netflix. The space in the room is huge, I believe it can sleep six people, haha. The hotel's breakfast is typical Japanese and Western, more stock. The hotel has two large baths, men and women can enjoy the two large baths in separate periods, which feels good. The hotel has lots of free parking...

Great location directly connected to Yamagata station. My room was at the South wing which seemed new. The room is on the small side for 2 adults but has everything we needed, was pleasantly surprised with the handy steam iron! There are 2 x coin laundry at South Tower level 2; vending machines; microwave oven. Ice machine on several floors. The front desk staff were helpful, they allowed us check-in before 3pm and helped make a reservation at Yamagyu restaurant, really appreciated their help. The location is really convenient with the taxi stand and bus terminal right in front. Lots of food options around it.

Laoqian Premium Hotel だけあり Equipment も Pick-up も Full く Problem ありません. However, one thing I was worried about was that I went to the dining room at the designated time at dinner, but I had to wait a long time. There was no more like a string to hold the sleeve of a yukata. It may have happened, but it was very disappointing because it was a luxury inn that I rarely go to.

I was looking forward to choosing steak or sukiyaki for dinner at the time of booking, but I couldn't choose it and decided to sukiyaki. It was delicious. Breakfast was Japanese and salty small plates lined up, which was a subtle feeling. the reservation site I was disappointed with the food because I felt that it was a buffet, probably because it was a difference. Is it better to bring all the amenities? The hot springs and rooms were clean and comfortable. Recommended for hot spring main people. But it may be difficult to move to people with bad knees.

It’s quite a big hotel, 3 buildings are connected and there are many rooms. The rooms are a bit outdated but still maintained well. Service was good and flexible. Transportation to the village is quite necessary when the roads are covered by snow, especially with luggage. They have free shuttle bus which is great. Best parts: 1. Dinner semi-buffet has unlimited alcoholic beverages including local sake, draft beer and wines. 2. Ski & board rental shop is right outside of the hotel. Although hotel only accept cash for the lift ticket, you can rent the gear (rental shop accepts credit card) and ski down the hill (20sec) to the cable ticket counter to buy ticket, pay by credit card. The location has lifts 5,6 and cable 4

AAnonymous UserWhen I made the reservation, there were only a few rooms left. I sent an email to the hotel to ask if it was possible to accommodate three people in a room, as I wanted to add more people, but the hotel did not respond. Later, when I arrived at the hotel, I had to ask my friend to book a hotel nearby. Because the location is very remote and we arrived late, the room we bought included dinner, but the hotel was unwilling to give it to an extra friend to dine together. They were also very strict. Even if we wanted to pay, they were unwilling to give us an extra seat to dine together. They even wanted to kick our friends out. When we asked our friends to stay in the room, someone would come to the room and knock on the door to kick us out. The experience on the first day was not very good. We are very polite guests and we don't make noise or disturb other guests, but it is hard to understand how the hotel treats guests. Still keep saying だめだめだめ

GGuest UserThe hotel has a car pick-up service, the staff is very friendly, the location is a little higher and it is ten minutes away from Lawson. The Japanese-style room is large and has heating. It is very comfortable to stay. It is a pity that breakfast and dinner cannot be booked. There are open-air hot springs and indoor hot springs, both of which are natural spring water.

ZZoeAbsolutely lovely place. At first I thought I'd be uncomfortable with how spaceous the room was (I'm a very jumpy solo traveller), but the room was just so comfy with an excellent view. The heater was a bit hot, but there was an electric fan too, so all was great. The hotel allows you to have a free 50 minute private bath each night, and the private baths are amazing, able to accommodate up to five persons and with windows to let in the light and stuff. Excellent onsen water -- very acidic and very hot. Takes some time getting used to the heat, but once you do it's a heavenly experience. There are also public baths (free of charge) that you could enjoy throughout the night and into early morning (they're closed for cleaning only during 9-12 in the morning), one indoor and one outdoor, both connected to one another. The outdoor one is a bit small, but it's so refreshing to be able to flee from the stifling indoor onsen to enjoy the crisp winter air while soaking up in the heat.

GGuest UserWhat a gem of a place! The special thing about this place is that there are 5 private outdoor onsens as well as a gender-segregated public bath and one mixed gender outdoor bath (for this one, you need to wear a bathing suit). If you are shy of exposing yourself or like taking photos, then those 5 private outdoor onsens are just perfect. I went in the autumn, which is cooling already and I can imagine what a treat it will be in winter with all the snow. The hotel is located almost to the top of the hill. Either drive or call them ahead and they will pick you up and drop you off in the vicinity. My room is quaint and Japanese-styled. I didn't pay for the meal package as I knew I'd would be busy trying out all the onsens available. They are all open 24hrs. By the way, private onsen number 1 and 5 are the best and most picturesque!!! I'm doing all a favor and posting all the pictures of the private onsens.

GGuest UserA wonderful place to stay in. The service was fantastic. The room was huge, much too large for just a solo traveler like me but it would have been perfect if I had brought my wife and child along. The onsen quality was great, albeit the fittings at the shower area were a bit old. The food was hands down amazing and featured great local produce. Honestly there was too much for one person to finish! What I especially liked was that they had a separate room on the first floor where if it was too early for you to check in, you could drop your luggage off, change, and then grab your gear and head to the slopes. Same thing if you intend to charge the slopes a bit more on your last day, just leave your stuff in the storage room, hit the slopes, come back and change out, hit the onsen for the last time, then go off. Definitely recommending this place to my friends visiting Zao.

GGuest UserThe four of us arrived at around 9am and followed the instructions to get a taxi. We first walked up the stone steps to the hotel to check in. We had three pieces of luggage weighing about 15kg, so two middle-aged waiters carried our luggage for us. One of them even carried two pieces of luggage in both hands at once and walked up the stairs, which made me feel very embarrassed. I have great respect for their dedication, but it is so heavy that it will cause strain on the wrists and shoulders and affect bone health. Why not do it in two batches? We returned to the hotel at 2:30 pm. The room was ready and someone led us into the room and introduced everything to us along the way. There is one bedroom, one living room, two toilets and one bathroom. It is spacious and fully equipped. Except for the need to plug in the socket for poor electricity, we were given a floor mat in the living room at night. The bed and floor mat were comfortable and I slept well. This is a very Japanese style hotel, well worth a try if you haven't tried it. We booked a package with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was all-Japanese, but I don't know what the cuisine was called. The service and food were good, and the tableware and dishes on the table were also unique. If you haven't tried it, it's worth a try. The breakfast is still Japanese style, average (see Figure 4). There is also a 24-hour free semi-open-air bath. If you book a private bath, it costs 2,700 yen for 50 minutes, and the last time is 22:00. There is a hiking trail next to the hotel. If you stay for two or three days, you will be surrounded by intoxicating mountain views and natural environment. In summary, it was a good experience. If I go to Zao again, I will still choose to stay at Takamiya, which has historical value and is well maintained. Attached is the dinner menu.

サンメイト1 night 2 day, to go to Sakata fireworks festival I used 3 rooms for 6 families. I was saved by changing the check-in time zone for this convenience. I didn't tell you that there was an elderly person, so it was a room that went up the steep stairs, so I learned that if I told you at the time of booking from the next time, I might be given a little preferential treatment. Although it is a very old building, the exterior has been renovated and the inside has been cleaned cleanly. The corridor was shiny even if I walked barefoot. I didn't use it because brown water came out of the water supply in the bathroom in the room. I think it is better to bring earplugs when sleeping because I can hear the voice and snoring of the next guest. There is no toilet in the room. There was one bath for men and women, and it was a bath with a slightly larger bathtub and 3 showers for women. About 4 people entered at the same time. It was available until 12 o'clock at night. I could use it around 6 o'clock in the morning. Breakfast was a dish that made the nutritionally balanced body happy, mainly vegetables, and it was very delicious. I was really happy with such a meal because eating out is the main thing during the trip. After all, the rice is delicious! It was Tsuya hime that day. It was a fluttering stay, but the host was very kind and kind. thank you for your help.

GGuest UserThe location is great!! The shuttle service runs early in the morning, such as before 5am. we rented a car and needed to return it at the airport early in the morning, so the location of the hotel was really convenient. The amenities were prepared in the lobby, and it was self-service to take them to the room. The bed was surprisingly hard, but I can't complain for this reasonable price. there is Lawson at G floor.
