"Breakfast was good but boring with little variety but it was part of the price of the room. The location was great as it was right next to the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby with great food. Room was comfortable and quite quiet."

"This is one of my favourite hotels so far.
Really warm greeting and very friendly and helpful team.
The room was spotless, the location is excellent and the adjacent hot springs were amazing.
If you have a car then access to Tsunoshima, Motonosumi, Akiyoshido Cave and Hagi Castle is an easy drive and some of the most amazing sights I’ve seen in Japan.
The hotel is also close to the main street with lots of good restaurants in east walking distance.
I wish I’d stayed longer.

"The hotel's interior and all the rooms were stylish and spacious,
making me feel cheerful even while inside the building.
The ocean river view from my room was also amazing.
I woke up in the morning and enjoyed the cool breeze in the sauna on the top floor while looking out at the city.
At night, there was a foot bath near the river, so I soaked my feet while listening to the sound of the river and gazing at the starry sky.
I felt so refreshed! Thank you very much."

"JR car walk to the hotel is only 10~15 minutes, so easy to find. The main entrance is facing the traffic light. It has a 300-year history, so traditional style. In the lobby, you must change indoor slippers first, and when you go out, the waiter will immediately take out the guests' shoes to replace you. The whole building has been appreciated. Value, there is an orthodox Japanese garden, there are a lot of koi fish in the pool, and you can see the maple leaves. We can enjoy the garden on the terrace of our room. The bathroom in the room has a wooden bathtub. Dinner and breakfast are eaten in the room ... Our housekeeper is very professional, Also introduced a variety of food ... and free beer, Coke is provided. There is electric heating in the central location of the room, thick quilt and heating ... But leaving this fan will be very cold ... This is the old building. At that time, the technology was not so advanced. The hot spring pool is not big, but there are two in the wind. Good ~ so comfortable. Sooner or later, the soup for men and women is changed. The hotel crosses the road and goes straight to have a ”fox footprint” worth recommending"

"The room and meals were all as expected. Notably, the large bathhouse boasts a wide selection of Tabibijin products. I highly recommend the sake lees mask (pictured in Figures 1 and 2) and the blue-bottled toner. The former leaves skin smooth without tightening, while the latter is very moisturizing.
The basic set meal here includes pufferfish sashimi, which was highly recommended.
However, the front desk waited over 10 minutes to check my order during check-in. I'm not sure why."

"On the way home with two adults and two elementary school students, I stayed in two rooms divided into mothers and children and fathers. It was clean and the TV was big and the children had a good time. The surrounding parking lot was cheap and convenient, although the restaurant area around the station was close and convenient. Find something you forgot before you notice it

5 minutes' walk to the site of Hagi Castle. 15 minutes to its castle town. We are an inn with home-produced hot spring water, convenient for sightseeing in Hagi.
"Regarding the location, it is very convenient to go to the tourist attractions of Hagi in 10 minutes by car, and there is a free bicycle rental in the inn. Regarding the service, I am satisfied with the hospitality of a general inn. I went with an infant, but the floor of the restaurant venue was tatami mats, so I was allowed to sit on tatami mats during meals. Also, when I asked for hot water for milk preparation, he was willing to respond. The dinner was very large and the quality of the dishes was a large amount of cooking, but I was able to enjoy a lot of fugu dishes. Especially the fugu sashimi was delicious. Basically, I am satisfied, but if I give you a problem, the power of the dryer was very weak, so I thought it would be better to bring a long hair. Another point is that the passage to the restaurant hall is not barrier free but there is a staircase up and down."

GGuest UserThis was a good option if you want to visit the fish market and walk through the underground pedestrian tunnel. It is located near the metro and a bus station is located out front that will take you to the locations. A mall is located next to the hotel which has plenty of eating options. Room was small but very clean. Very helpful front desk. Good option.

Cchaoxi1985The atmosphere of the small hotel with a sense of age and the Changmen of the small city of Yamaguchi Prefecture is very suitable. The room and foreign style are just right for the family of three. Come here to fish and return late at night. If you sleep for one night, the overall is greater than expected. I wish the price of the third day is cheaper than the Japanese online booking. A dinner money. Just ate the nearby izakaya, the surrounding food and beverage shops were full of fireworks, the street was no one in the store but the people were moving, the breakfast the next day was simple and exquisite, and the cafe decoration was back to the Showa era. (o^^o)

GGuest UserThis is not the Hotel in the photo added. The hotel is a reasonable Japanese style business hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly and tried to help us with the booking problem cause by Trip.com. The booking agency (Trip.com) had booked us as 6 guests and charged us accordingly. We were 4 adults and one child and were overcharged by Trip.com by 1/3 of the price (about 10,000 yen). The hotel staff were helpful but they couldn't do anything as this was a mistake by the agents not the hotel. I will be contacting Trip.com to ask for a refund of the amount they charged us in error.

GGuest UserWe couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hagi no Yado Tomoe. Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) on both days, comfortable futons in spacious and well-appointed rooms, the most friendly and efficient service (sincere thanks to Takashi-san, our ‘butler’, but also to the entire team) and ideally located in walking distance to all Hagi’s most interesting sights. I can’t recommend Hagi no Yado Tomeo highly enough.

The location was great, and I was able to walk to the Ruri Five-Story Pagoda.
The staff were very helpful, even at night, and I was provided with a work kimono (work clothes), two towels, slippers, and other amenities, and I could even choose my own pillow, so I was very satisfied!
