"Good, small rooms in an excellent location. I liked everything. The views are gorgeous. There weren't enough bath mats for the bathroom, it was very slippery. Only one working outlet per room. Otherwise, for $50, everything was great. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and there was hot water with excellent pressure. Turtles swim into the bay right outside the windows. I didn't like the tuk-tuk mafia near the hotel. When you call your own taxi, they start arguing with them, which is a bad situation. There are no shops around, but there are cafes. You can't really cook anything for yourself in their kitchen, but there is a kettle. There are tables in the kitchen with a wonderful view where you can eat your own food. Beer on the beach is 1000 rupees, sunbeds are 1000 rupees on the left beach, and $20 on the right beach."

"We absolutely loved the Araliya Hotel. It's a great hotel with a fantastic beach, sand, and sea. They have excellent sun loungers exclusively for guests, and the beachfront area is guarded, so you don't have to worry about outsiders taking them. The beach bar/restaurant is superb, with excellent service. They always have cold beer, delicious cocktails, fresh fruit, and fish. Every day, they'd bring out freshly caught tuna and announce it to the whole beach, which was quite a highlight. The sandy beach is gently sloping, the sea is warm, and the water is clear. You'll see a lot of families and children on the beach. It's definitely a family-friendly hotel, with about 80% Russian guests. The staff doesn't speak Russian (except for one person), but that's not an issue with the restaurants around the hotel, where many people, including taxi drivers, understand Russian. We really enjoyed everything. It has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all have sea views. The bathroom is also quite large. Nearby, there's a street with restaurants and shops offering good prices. You'll find currency exchange offices everywhere; the rates are a bit lower than at the airport, but not by much. We truly loved our stay and will definitely be back, maybe with our kids next time.
P.S. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Naveen, one of the restaurant staff members. He's a very pleasant, smiling, and responsive guy who went out of his way to make every guest comfortable. We were very impressed with his service."

"The room I was originally given was close to the street and was very noisy. Later, I was given a room close to the sea, and the beach was right outside the door🏖. Of course, I only stayed for two nights and left early.
The room was large and nice, with sufficient air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only problem was that the hot water was not hot enough for this generation of hotels. It was probably warm water. I hoped I wouldn't catch a cold after taking a shower.
I was quite happy staying there."

"This is a fantastic resort-style hotel. If you love nature, I highly recommend it! You can snorkel right off the beach and see small sharks, sea turtles, and plenty of fish. I was very satisfied with everything, especially the stunning sunsets from our room's balcony.
The dining options are all international. There are about four restaurants: a buffet, a poolside bar, an Italian restaurant, and another bar. The breakfast buffet offers a wide and delicious variety of international dishes.
The cleanliness is excellent, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff even remembered our names! After staying for three nights, they still recognized us at check-out. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!"

"It's just average. There may not be any fast-food hotels in China. I just made do with it for a one-day stay. The mineral water in the room is in large glass bottles. I don't know what kind of water it is. There is no supermarket nearby. I just drank it. There are impurities in the water. I'm not satisfied with it as a whole. There was no breakfast in the morning. When I asked if there was any breakfast, they only served a pot of coffee. The only thing I was very satisfied with was the view. There is a private beach right outside the door. It's clean and beautiful!"

"The stay in the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The hotel layout is just beautiful with the open architecture and view of the Galle fortress. The rooms we had were very spacious even for suites. Lovely bathroom, living area, garden, lots of places to rest. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. The hotel is a short distance from the fort so you can walk there and enjoy it while being away from the business. The beds were comfortable and you only hear the ocean, not the street noise. I would give 6 stars if possible."

WWudianxiadechongerVery close to the beach, the day before the hotel was very late at about nine o'clock, I fell asleep directly. I woke up in the morning and saw the blue sky and sea. I was in a very good mood. There seem to be many Russians in the hotel, and the restaurant also specially put a Russian menu. My favorite is the early morning pool, the private venue, casual swimming, the deepest is about two meters, great. The breakfast is also very good, except for the local curry, I can accept it, the papaya is very sweet. Be sure to stay for two more days next time.

ЮЮлия ЗOur Sri Lankan vacation began in Mirissa and the Randiya Sea View Hotel. I was worried that our hotel was located right next to the road and would be noisy, but believe me, you'll hear more noise from the ocean waves, which we were absolutely delighted with. The reception staff was very friendly and kind. There's a swimming pool next to the hotel, which we really enjoyed. You can borrow large towels from reception and use them on the sun loungers by the pool. We were lucky enough to catch a gorgeous sunset from our room. A big plus of this hotel is its close proximity to the ocean, despite having to cross the road. We walked to Parrot Rock, which is very close, and Coconut Tree Hill is also within walking distance. There are many cafes with sun loungers along the coastline. We swam on the left side of the beach, closer to Parrot Rock, where the waves are calmer. The hotel has its own parking lot and a restaurant.

DDaniil BessonovGood service! Before leaving they sprayed mosquito repellent, and my girlfriend has allergies. They washed the whole room and changed the bed linen. The room is cozy, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning, but we did not like the mattress, it was made of foam rubber and without springs. Also the hotel is near the road, and in the morning cars started driving and I could not sleep anymore. The hotel is not bad, there are some disadvantages.

На втором этаже есть балконы.Вкусный завтрак, за 14 дней повторений не было. Расположена на горке, поэтому с океана всегда лёгкий бриз. Немного на удалении от центра, поэтому тихо, бегают обезьяны и павлины. В пешей доступности три пляжа с разной инфраструктурой, две семейных кафешки с местной домашней кухней и соками. Нам очень понравилось.

GGuest UserWe stayed 1 night here and enjoyed it very much. What really stood out was the amazing service which included a birthday cake, a free upgrade and a bubble bath for the birthday girl. The breakfast was delicious and ensured we were full for the whole day. A complimentary tea or coffee was delivered to the room in the morning. The location of the hotel was such that you can look out at the ocean from the terrace. We enjoyed a dip in the pool both days as the water was cool and refreshing after a hot walk in the fort. The room and bathroom were beautifully done. Highly recommended.

AAnonymous UserMy wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay.
The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel.
At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival.
Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound.
Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

But a special mention for Sam and Tharushi in the Palms they were so attentive, not just to me but I saw their exceptional service given to everyone they interacted with. Tharushi’s beautiful smile greeting us at the door….😊. I hope to return one day soon, although my stay was short, I feel I had a connection with the whole place but especially Sam and Tharushi. Thank you 💕
