"Pictures: I attached 9 pictures for broken lock and bathroom. There was few minor issues as well but most important are described below.
Reception: Person who check me in asked for tax to be paid so I said OK. He asked for 150 MAD so I paid. Once I went to my room I checked previous bill issued by Trip and it was only €10.20 which is more less 110-112MAD but receptionist asked for 150MAD so 30% more. I came back to reception about half an hour later to challenge him but he tried to trick me that I am paying different tax, not tax from my bill etc. but once he realised I will not let him go he asked me if I want any refund for overpayment. I paid him with GBP where official exchange rate was 12MAD but obviously he lied it is 11MAD. They got exchange point on site and rate there was 12.10MAD. Management should investigate this young mid age men trying to cheat their own clients with amount and exchange rate. Two ladies came there soon after I paid him my local tax so he told them that exchange point is closed now (how come 1 min earlier it was open for me ? Joke.)
Room cleanliness: Room was so so but bathroom was very BAD = very BAD. Bathroom has mould around silicone, tube has strange stains = see my pictures attached so you can judge yourself how it is.
TV: has no foreign channels with foreign languages."

"Unfortunately the hotel didn't meet my expectations.
The staff was friendly, but the room (although spacious) was very old and many things were broken. See pictures.
It's a very big hotel and I had a room on the side of the night club (also part of the hotel) where until well after midnight loud music is being played. A hotel and a night club don't go together, you want the guests to have a peaceful stay, right?
Breakfast was very basic. No msemmen (Moroccan layer-pancakes), only boiled eggs (no fried) and the cheapest brand jam/marmalade which was not very tasty.
I don't know how much they charge for separate breakfast (it was included mine) but if it's more than 3 euro extra, it's not worth it in my opinion.
It's only a hotel if you are desperate for a cheap stay, otherwise it's not a nice hotel to spend your well deserved holiday."

"1. The showerhead was too small, and the water pressure felt too low during showers!
2. The hotel's Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak. There seemed to be only one router for the entire hotel, making it very inconvenient for business travelers who had to rely on their own mobile data.
3. The balcony door handle was broken, preventing the door from closing properly. This meant we couldn't effectively block out the loud rock music coming from the hotel next door.
4. The daily menu only had text and no pictures, so ordering food was a guessing game.
5. The furnishings in the room were quite old-fashioned, probably not updated in over 20 years. Even the duvet covers were faded to grey, and I couldn't find any new ones."

"The hotel is great value for money. The food on offer is varied and delicious, however you should attend the buffets as soon as they open. The location near the beach is like a dream, I highly recommend a sea view so you can hear the waves. The refurbished rooms are very modern. The service from the animation team is good. The rest of the staff are very unhappy and unfriendly, especially reception and the bar tenders as they are understaffed by the management."

"Our experience at the Hyatt Regency Taghazout was superb!
What left the best impression was the kindness of the staff members. Everyone was so friendly and was caring so much that we received the best service.
Upon request we received even an upgrade on our room, which made our stay even better with an awesome view.
The breakfast offered a huge variety. The staff members around Yassine and specially the female staff members like Asma amaray, Chaimae and everbody else really was making sure that we felt welcomed. They also remembered our preferences and took care that the service was excellent.
The location of the hotel is also great at it is right at the beach. You have an amazing view from the pools or the break fast area or also from your room.
To Taghazout it is an easy walk either on the beach or path, which is even lighted in the dark that takes about 20 minutes.
The rooms were very clean and spacious for two people. The bed was also very comfortable.
To sum up we can only recommend highly this hotel and it won’t be the last time that we have stayed there.
Special thanks also the the hotel manager Hicham Hriouad, who supported us and was available for our questions that made our stay just great."

"Staying just one night was more than enough; the hotel desperately needs maintenance and a renovation. The windows don't close properly, so you'll hear all the outside noise. The room is bland with no decoration, the pillows are too thick, and there are no power outlets on either side of the bed. The bathroom is quite dated. The pool closes very early. Breakfast isn't great; only one out of two toasters works, and the staff present couldn't care less. The orange juice is watered down – seriously, don't skimp on that when oranges are so cheap. There were no small spoons for the fruit salad, and the machine-dispensed hot chocolate was mediocre. My first time here, but definitely my last, thanks but no thanks."

GGuest UserAn experience that exceeded expectations! If you're looking for a safe, worry-free, great-value seaside staycation just steps from the beach, I would recommend this place to everyone.
1. Service: Absolutely Fantastic
I have to say the service at this hotel is truly impressive. All the staff are well-trained, almost everyone greets you with a warm, friendly smile and frequently asks if you need any help. You never feel neglected here. Any request you make is promptly attended to. In the restaurant, table-clearing is extremely efficient, and our table was always kept spotless. I was amazed by the quality and efficiency of their service — this is the best service I’ve experienced at an all-inclusive hotel in this price range.
2. Room: Clean and Comfortable
The room is well-equipped, with air conditioning, a hairdryer, toiletries, a fridge (with complimentary soft drinks), and a safe. My room had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard, offering a lovely view. The mattress was very comfortable, and daily housekeeping was thorough and spotless. The only minor flaw was that the bath towels were a little worn, though they were clean.
3. Hotel Facilities: Great, with Plenty of Pools
The hotel sits on an elevated platform with sweeping views overlooking the beach. There’s direct access to the beach, guarded by security staff, which made us feel very safe. There are so many pools! Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas are available, and the poolside bar serves drinks and cocktails. Activities like water polo are organized daily — something that will make water lovers very happy.
4. Dining: Very Rich Selection, Mostly Western Cuisine
The hotel has three restaurants — an international restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and Azha, a Moroccan speciality restaurant. The bakery bar is almost open 24 hours, so even if you're jet-lagged and wake up at 11 pm, you won’t go hungry. Food preferences are, of course, personal. For us, although there weren’t many dishes tailored to an Asian palate, we were still able to find things we really enjoyed. A special highlight — we were lucky to book the Moroccan restaurant with help from the staff. There was live oud music, very distinctive starters (Moroccan soup, appetizers), a main course (tagine), desserts, and an amazing flaming coffee (which was seriously cool). The staff introduced each dish in detail, and we had a wonderful dining experience. The only small drawback was that the portions were a bit too generous for two Asian women; we felt sorry we had to leave some food behind because we were simply too full.
5. Activities: A Few Options, Though More Could Be Added
The hotel’s activities mainly revolve around daytime pool parties and evening shows at the sports club. The dancers in the evening show were incredibly engaging, and they invited guests to dance at the end — my mum and I really loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to limited time, I couldn’t try out more activities, which was a bit of a shame.
Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing staycation, perfect for travellers who value safety, comfort, and great value. Once again, heartfelt thanks to all the hotel staff — your warm smiles and friendliness made my mum and I feel so at home during our four wonderful days here. We truly felt the warmth and comfort of home.

The rooms are closed on the key, the plumbing in the rooms is old (we have toilet stream). The hotel itself looks semi-empty and is far from the center, but it was walking quite fast from the station. Not immediately found the entrance
But! The room was just huge!
Kitchen, hall, two bathrooms, bedroom and a huge corridor
There are many dishes in the kitchen, in the room of small tables much more than necessary - on any taste
The declared swimming pool never saw

GGuest UserGood experience overall, shower head had an issue and water would leak out of the shower but that wasn't much of an issue. Shower gel and shampoo were not that good in our opinion. Can also complain about the padel rackets and balls provided for the courts were awful, and you could only book a court 30mins per day which is not that much.
At the pool, lots of noise and loud music wasn't very enjoyable most of the time for us, as we prefer something a bit calmer and more relaxing. Too much Zumba and related music, if you don't enjoy this like us, takes away from the experience a lot.
Apart from this stay was enjoyable, pool was nice and clean, beach was good, food was good and had a lot of variety, pastries were really nice, most of the employees were very nice and engaged with us a lot of the time. Would recommend the hotel to anyone interested in coming to Agadir.
