The Putra Regency Hotel

Location: 10/10; - The location of the hotel is in the city town and finding food is quite easy or nearby if having a vehicle to travel in short distance. Cleanliness: 6/10; - The room cleanliness is still okay with certain acceptance. It is an old hotel and nothing to be surprised when there's several unattended space covers with some dust; Functionality: 5/10; The hotel is a very old hotel and there are some cosmetic areas in the room that need to be fixed up properly. Such example the air condition is very old and takes some time to cool the entire room; There's also not so many wall plugs for electrical connections in the room. I can recall only have one or 2 that is already in used inside the room for lighting, water boiler and TV connections; Bathroom Condition: 6/10; The water heater is still functional, and the heating of the water is quite consistently good. The bathroom is clean and acceptable; Room Space: 10/10: The room is quite spacious with queen bed size. The room comes with a table that can be multi functional use. Room Condition: 6/10; The wall of the room is quite old and pale; The wall is also quite thin and not that soundproof if there is a loud noise in between rooms. Although the hotel is very old, but this is the only best hotel available in Perlis location. Therefore, the circumstances have make us not to be picky and seems to be the only best ideal condition available staying in this hotel and the rest others' accommodation will be very small hotels or motels in other Perlis location.
Hotel Seri Malaysia Kangar

Put up at the Seri Malaysia Kangar, the biggest SM hotel yet, very spacious. Even the room i occupied had an adjoining TV room and separate bathroom. A swimming pool for families qualifies this hotel as a 4 star. However, one funny detail is in the room service menu. While two columns denoted that the time to order was between 10am and 10pm, the last column showed that last order to be 11pm. So i called to order supper only to be told sorry sir last order 10pm! Didnt want to lock horns and settled instead for the Godiva choc pretzels i bought at the airport. But would have still preferred to sample the nasi goreng special as its glossy menu advertised Breakfast the next day was predictably SM but one item caught my eye: glutinous rice or pulut with salted fish and coconut flakes. Added a chicken sambal to make it a little spicy; this alone restored my faith in SM.

Basic hotel, no tea or coffee, not even in the lobby at night. From our room we could see the sea from far. The location is very nice if you wanna catch the ferry in the morning as it lies right next to the ferry station. We stayed there for one night & it was all what we needed. Clean & calm.
Ants Hotel

We were booked for 1 night at Ants Hotel as we were using the Roro Ferry to Langkawi the next morning. This hotel has so many 'don't haves and don't provide', its unbelievable. (1) No coffee and tea making facilities (2) TV had only 2 channels, TV1 and TV3. No news channels. (3) No shops nearby to buy drinks (4) Only rain shower provided (5) No windows in the very small and claustrophobic room We actually paid RM110+ for the rooms and there was a notice that the hotel was offering RM95 at the reception. And when we complained about the windowless rooms, we were told we would each have to pay another RM30 if we wanted rooms with window! A rip off place. When I requested for a kettle, I was given one. But when I requested for a mug or teaspoon to make a drink, I was told that only 2 small glasses are provided in the room. And that was all. There was a shower cap provided by the way, but it was hidden in the cupboard, not in the bathroom. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. Seriously.

The Hotel is so nice especially the services. The receptionist suggest us the best place to visit and food to try. Besides that, the location of the hotel is strategic because it’s in the middle of the town. Nearby restaurants and there’s have mural behind the hotel to taking picture. Highly recommended!!!

I recently had the opportunity to travel to Perlis for a work purpose and stayed at the All In hotel for two nights. I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The hotel team was truly amazing and incredibly helpful throughout my stay, making me feel welcome and ensuring I had everything I needed. The room itself was a delight. Immaculately clean and tastefully designed with modern amenities, it provided the perfect sanctuary after a long day of work. The comfort and ambiance surpassed my expectations, making it undoubtedly the best hotel I've stayed at in Perlis. Stayed for one night over the weekend and lucky I booked early. All motels this area seems fully booked closer to my travel date. Location wise near jetty, easy to get Grab, around 1 kilometre away there's 7-eleven and also D Adna Laksa House. Room was basic and clean. Shower couldn't get hot water, it's just slightly heated so water was not freezing cold. This is a Muslim friendly motel, so no alcoholic drinks permitted in the premise. Overall I had a comfortable stay.
