Excellent experience from check-in to check-out. The hotel atmosphere was relaxing, the amenities were great, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff made us feel very welcome and ensured everything was perfect. 5 min from the park , 3 supermarket around the area and 15 min walk to the wharf . Highly recommend . Comfortable bed too

The hotel boasts a great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a slightly older feel. There are many restaurants nearby, including the popular EGON restaurant, and the Bergen Fish Market is right across the street, making shopping convenient. The cable car is a 5-minute walk away, and Bergen train station is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, and if you prefer not to order outside, the hotel also offers complimentary dinner and afternoon tea. However, dinner is rather simple. We stayed at the hotel for four days, and one rainy day we ate dinner there, which was excellent.

A Famous hotel location is excellent at center of the town so everything is nearby. A hotel is quite old not have some basic amenities like a hair dryer soap and shampoo (I stayed for 2 nights they made a room but they did not refill it). Breakfast was nice even I started before a time (not too much) and no staff at there but everything was prepared. Recommended this hotel for travelers using public transport.

Our family of four stayed at the Scandic Byparken for 3 nights. The location was very good for exploring the city, and the breakfast spread was excellent. However, we were disappointed with the in-room service. A simple oversight, like not replacing an empty tissue box during our stay over 2 consecutive days, left us feeling a bit overlooked. An excellent stay in bergen, very close to the town centre and about 30min from the airport via car. The room was spacious and well furnished.

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right by Lake Voss. It's quiet and incredibly pleasant. If you're looking for a late-night snack, the Kiwi supermarket is about a 3-minute walk away (closes at 11 PM) where you can grab some Arctic sweet shrimp. The breakfast was good, and the sauna room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the snowy mountains and lake, is highly recommended for a relaxing session – it's so romantic! There's a shuffleboard in the lobby, which we also saw at our hotel in Geiranger later on, so it seems to be a popular indoor game in Scandinavia! 😄

The room is compact, but although it is small, it is well-equipped. The bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. You can even buy lunch boxes to pack your food, which is a great deal. A taxi from the airport costs 350 kronor, for reference. Highly recommended to friends who are in transit.

Great little hotel, just 5-10 minutes from the town center train station, and close to Bryggen Pier. The room is spacious and the facilities are new. The blond guy at the front desk is very friendly. The breakfast is rich and there is salmon. I highly recommend it

We stayed at opposite of the main receptionist. Easy to find the location. The hotel not really do the cleaning for my first day check in. The used towel and left over the tissue at toilet. Everything was great! Although it's located on a hill, it's close to the bus stop, making transportation very convenient. The room rate includes a generous breakfast. Sheets and towels are available for a fee, but you can bring your own sleeping bag for the bed. There are lockers in the room, so you'll need to bring a lock. Each bed also has a small table and chair. The restrooms and showers were relatively clean.
