Ingtara Hotel

From the outside, the hotel looks nice - almost like a resort, and the lobby is impressively ”artsy” looking. However, the room looks just TOO plain and ordinary - no artwork, no painting, no different colours - simply boring! It's as if most of the $ have been spent on the external looks and the beautiful rooftop, so there's not enough $ to decorate the rooms. The hotel also looks like it's still undergoing renovation, especially in the rooftop dining area. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Bathing area is small, and instead of a glass door, a cheap plastic shower screen is used - seriously? I also find not much thoughts have been given to the practicality of the design of the bathroom - the shower head faces the shower screen, thus splashing water all over the floor. Both bathroom and room are also dim. Language-wise, the staffs are not very proficient in English. The hotel is also situated very close to the Khon Kaen Lake, as well as walking distance to the famous temple - Wat Phra Mahathat. Food-wise, there are also some eateries and restaurants around, including a 7-Eleven. (Note: Dining at the rooftop is not expensive, so it's a good idea to enjoy the night view from the roof while dining too.) Room-wise, the room I had faced the afternoon sun, which makes it extra hot. Air-conditioning is also not very cold. Sadly, internet is spotty - most of the time slow, and one frequently loses connection.
Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre

Really modern and well appointed hotel. Probably the most modern in Khon Kaen. Restaurants are decent and not overly priced like other hotels in the area. I stay here because it’s new and there is probably the best gym in the city a 2 min walk from there called Mega Gym. The only issue I had was for a super modern hotel the rooms have old flat screens that are not HDMI compatible. Very strange to be honest as the older hotels in Khon Kaen all have smart TVs. This actually caused me to move during my 2 week stay in the city. Besides that very nice hotel and great staff.
Ad Lib Hotel Khon Kaen

After a grand opening, I wanted to take a few days to relax before heading home. The room is amazing, and the food is incredible (I recommend Italian food). I look forward to returning. On the 28th floor, the highlight is a glass bridge that is 105 meters long. Enjoy the romantic evening atmosphere.
Glacier Hotel Khon Kaen

Evegrything was good: location, friendly staff, breakfast, spacious room. But the room - 3009 - needs serious rennovation: furniture shabby, sink in the bathroom looks dirty, no shower curtain in the bathtub and the bathroom is flooded when you take a shower, not enough electric outlets in the room. Everything in the room was good some twenty years ago, but now it looks shabby and outdated.
Wishing Tree Resort

Nice hotel and upgrade to luxury room with private swimming pool. The reason was less beautiful, because there was a party with very hard music. Stop happy at 11.00 pm. Golf cart to bring you to your room. Eating and breakfast were OK. Location is not near the city, so it could have been quiet. Beautiful bathroom with toilet separate. sit out and inside.

A really nice hotel shame it hasn't got a pool or we would still be staying at it, kids want a pool. Breakfast was nice coffee good, but tiny cups just make like 3. Location good laundry next door a restaurant out front food was nice. Overall, I'm happy with stay check out 11am.
Major Grand Hotel
3.2/525 Reviews
A large hotel located along National Highway 201 (about 2 km south of the intersection of National Highway 12 and diagonally across from Lotus) on the outskirts of Chumpe, the second largest city in Khon Kaen. The hall is coordinated with a calm appearance, creating an atmosphere far from the world. Although it is a hotel in a local city, it is built to surround a vast site not only in the guest room building but also in the conference hall, restaurant, and sports club. The receptionist's response is also responsive, and the major-class service that does not lose its name is wonderful. The guest rooms are given a generous size, and the interior is arranged mainly with wooden furniture that was widespread a long time ago (about 20 years ago) to create a sense of luxury. Of particular note is the view of the mountains in the direction of Khon Kaen (Mount Phu Phan) overlooking from the guest rooms. Although the view is blocked by thickets and I can not get the impression of 100 points, I would like to pay tribute to the owner of this hotel that provides such services in local cities.
Chada Veranda Hotel
4.3/546 Reviews
The Chada Veranda is an honest mid-range, centrally located hotel, in Khon Kaen City, Isaan, Thailand. This guest-friendly accommodation option, was suggested to me, by a fellow expat and glad I followed the advice, as I really enjoyed my short stay here. Highlights being the economical and hearty breakfast, as well as the magnificent pool. My room was spacious with a big comfortable bed and an excellent television set-up, too. Well pleased with decision to stay awhile at the Hotel Chada Veranda (see my YouTube), in downtown Khon Kaen.
Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid

Good hotel stayed 3 nights. I would recommend it. Went to local small zoo for exotic pets cost 150 baht. It was ok. This city is full of café restaurants many moderately priced. Khon Kaen is one of my favourite places in Thailand but far from other places but remember it has an airport. We stupidly drove.
Tonwa Resort

We stayed for two days. The hotel was okay. The lroad To the location was a tiny road with lots of bumps. Wasn’t easy to find. Hotel was an old hotel but clean fairly. The breakfast wasn’t good at all. Not much selection
