Not far from the beach, but a bit of a distance from the main attractions, unless you take the tram. Izmir is a more relaxed city than Istanbul, with fewer crowds, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll and unwinding. The locals are all very nice.

Anonymous UserOverall a beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, breakfast is great and the daily housekeeping service is very good.
There was one gentleman who was really very nice and helped us figure out the bus to the airport. He even drove us to the bus stop to show us where it was. It was just a few minutes away but really nice of him.
Some cons and things to take note of:
1. Most staff DO NOT speak English. They use google translate which is effective for the most part, but tough if you need to have a discussion.
2. The hotel page mentions airport drop of free. The hotel claims it’s not included and impossible to have a discussion so couldn’t do much. Not sure if this is a trip.com issue or a hotel issue.
3. Breakfast really is very good. But it’s a fixed Turkish breakfast so if you have dietaries this may be tough. The staff would casually ask “tea, coffee, juice?” as though it was all included and then when we were checking out we get a bill of £40 for a few coffees. Seems only the tea was included. When we told them no one informed us if it was chargeable, all they did was offer us 2 coffees in the morning to compensate. Really not okay.
4. LOUD MUSIC. There is music playing loudly till 1am. The first 2 nights it was a bit quieter and shut off by 12. But the last night it went on till 1am. When we complained around 12 they said oh this is normal but now since some guests have complained we’ll reduce the volume. Really didn’t make much of a difference. Last night there, completely spoilt the lovely few days we had there.

Location: The location of the hotel is really good. It is in the center of Alacati, easy access to the attractions around. The hotel has the only Michelin guide restaurant in the town, they have live music in the evening, It can be heard in the room. But do not be afraid, the music is really chill. Alacati is really lively at night, you can find a lot of bars and restaurants with live music. But you do not need to be afraid to be bothered in the hotel, the loud music did not reach to our room at least. We really enjoyed to take a walk in the city center after diner, doing so every night during our stay. Enjoying the lively city, walking around then back to hotel to chill afterwards.
Cleanliness: The room is really clean and the staff is really friendly.
Services: We have breakfast included, the buffet option is relatively limited comparing to other hotels we had. BUT it has freshly cooked turkish beef bacon with Turkish Fried Bread (Pisi) served to your table with a list of other things, vegetable, cheese, butter, jams, olives etc. Start a lovely day with fresh made traditional Turkish breakfast, it was great.
Facilities: The pool is not really big, but good for relaxing. Next to the pool there are benches and a lime tree. You can chose to stay under the sun or under the shadow. We really love the hotel building itself, it looks great, really beautiful building and the decoration in the hotel also looks lovely.

The room was very clean. With a child, we added a single bed for free. The swimming pool and beach were beautiful!

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The price was reasonable and breakfast was included, so it was a good deal. However, don't expect too much from the room. The Wi-Fi was very weak and there was no daily cleaning. This hotel is good for people who want a cheap place to stay.

Guest UserVery friendly and helpful :) breakfast was very nice!
Delicious food and great service. Also in room fishing was tasty and nice(see pic below!).
Location wise perfect to walk anywhere around the area(old market) or more vibrant area full of restaurants and cafes.
I was busy so couldn’t enjoy the pool but my mum went and she was very happy.
Only thing missing I would say toiletries products. We only got shower caps.
Cannot wait to be back!

Positive Points:
1. The hotel is located in the best central area of Alaçatı.
2. There are plenty of parking spots just a few steps away from the hotel.
3. Free breakfast is provided.
4. The hotel is clean.
5. The view and interior design of the hotel are very beautiful and appealing.
Negative Points:
1. Consider increasing the variety of the breakfast buffet and offering coffee as well. The breakfast selection, especially the hot menu, is limited.
2. Since the airport is quite far from the hotel (1.5 hours), there is no transfer service, or the cost is quite high. I suggest subsidizing part of the transfer cost for your guests.
3. There is no heated pool. It would be great to have warm water in the pool during the colder seasons.
4. The outdoor seating area by the pool is unusable during the colder months. I suggest adding heating equipment near the tables and chairs by the pool.
5. No special slippers are provided in the bathroom and toilet. The available foam slippers are not suitable for wet areas and get soaked.
6. There is no welcome drink or anything similar. I suggest offering a welcome drink to guests.
all in all I will choose it again.

I hope the internet being fixed already but i had difficult time to work online because wifi were only reaching to the hallway in the room and bathroom. Staff was not so welcoming seem just doing their job check in check out.

I recently stayed at a quaint hotel superbly located near the vibrant Art Street, perfect for those keen to explore local art and culture. The hotel, housed in an old mansion, offers a charming, historical ambiance but comes with several trade-offs. The lack of on-site parking necessitates paying for nearby private parking, which can be inconvenient and adds an unexpected expense. Additionally, the absence of food services within the hotel could be a drawback for guests looking for mealtime convenience, though unlimited free coffee and bottled water are pleasant perks. One should note that the reception closes at 6 PM, which could pose challenges for late arrivals or those needing evening assistance. The rooms, while clean and maintaining the property's antique charm, do not have TVs and the old mansion’s thin walls mean sounds carry easily from room to room. Despite these issues, the hotel's cleanliness and prime location make it a compelling choice for travelers, particularly those interested in the arts, who don't mind a few inconveniences during their stay.

Anonymous UserReceptionists are very good specially Balik. She accommodated early checkin as well as helping me store my luggage. These kind of services are very critical for me and I appreciate them so much for this.
The everyday breakfast is also really good and the servers and the cleanliness there are really good too.
The location is also near the Konak square. All of the hotels in the area are within some sort of alleys which are busy. For others it might be a surprised but in many places in Asia the same hotels are located in busy alleys.
As a solo traveller, I never had an issue with safety and going around the area.
