Walking across the fine sand at dusk, the sea breeze carries the aroma of grilled seafood. The Sky Bar is also a terrace bar, with the entire Indian Ocean below and a gradient sunset overhead. The butler services provided by Kunal are truly amazing and very good. He's extremely helpful in organizing all daily activities. Room service is impressively quick and ensures the room is kept clean. The sea view is stunning, and the resort itself is spotless. The food here is absolutely superb.

Heritance Aarah was perfect for our family holiday spanning multiple generations. Every staff member made us feel welcome, and no question or request was ever too much for them. The beach villas were spacious and offered direct access to the beach. I recommend staying on the water sports side as the beach here is better, and the sea is calmer, which was ideal for our 4-year-old and 9-month-old. Our butler, Kunal, was incredible—he answered all our questions professionally and quickly, truly a miracle worker ❤️. Our daughter loved the kids club, which had fantastic activities and highly engaging, attentive staff, especially Vicky and Shenu. The dolphin cruise was a highlight—we were fortunate to see a large pod of dolphins! The only improvement we’d suggest is with the restaurant opening times. Between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM, there weren’t dining options suitable for families, so we had to plan ahead daily, particularly for the babies. Despite this, we were all heartbroken to leave but left with unforgettable memories!

I stayed at this hotel for the fourth time and believe there will be a fifth! It's a place you want to come back to. The hotel staff do everything to make your stay perfect, and it's so heartwarming to see familiar faces even after several years! It's like visiting friends who are waiting for you. I've been to other hotels in the Maldives, as well as the Seychelles and Mauritius, but this island truly captured my heart! There are several restaurants to suit all tastes. My favorites are Ralu and Baani. It's not just delicious food but also beautifully presented! At Ralu, there's a fantastic waiter, Rohana, who has practically become a friend—he always tailors dishes based on personal preferences (I don't eat onions), and he remembers everything! The buffet also offers great variety, but I personally enjoy ordering from the menu. Whether you choose a beach villa or one over water, it all depends on your preference; both have their own unique charm. We've stayed in both, and they were all wonderful in their own way. Our butler, Preetham, was always available and made our stay unforgettable! So, until next time!

We stayed in the Ocean Suites as recommended by friends, and they were absolutely wonderful. The suite was spacious, featuring two bathrooms, a bathtub, a private pool with direct sea access, and exceptional room service that cleaned two or three times daily. The hotel also has several restaurants with delectable and beautifully presented dishes. The waiters were friendly and provided excellent explanations of the meals. A special mention goes to Kunal, our main contact on the island, who ensured everything was flawless during our honeymoon. Kunal booked all our excursions and restaurant visits, paying special attention to my food intolerances. If I return to the Maldives, I will undoubtedly stay again at Heritage Aahra, and I hope to reunite with Kunal!

I cannot fully express just how incredible this holiday was. (Prepare for a detailed review—I couldn’t leave anything out while praising this experience.) Deciding where to stay in the Maldives felt overwhelming. We needed a water villa for my husband, myself, and my mother, with adult-only options—a challenging request given the contradiction of a family villa. Additionally, we wanted several restaurants with great, all-inclusive food (no extra fees). Wine was non-negotiable for my husband. After combing through TripAdvisor reviews, photos, and countless YouTube videos, we chose Heritance Aarah, recommended by our tour operator. A year before our trip, I contacted the hotel with questions. Kosala and Bassam’s prompt, friendly responses reassured me this was the right place. Their exceptional service continued throughout, being patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating until we arrived. Following our 11-hour flight to Male, navigating customs was quick, with efficient counters and prompt luggage delivery. Exiting the airport, we followed Kosala’s clear directions to find the hotel representative. Seamlessly, we were transported to check-in. Though aware of strict luggage weight rules—5kg hand luggage, 20kg suitcase—we were fortunate our slight excess caused no issues and incurred no fees. From the airport, we boarded a bus to Heritance’s lounge. It offered big chairs and basic snacks. Drinks were available, but food looked unappealing. A massage was an option, though overpriced. A rare downside to the holiday was the 3½-hour wait for the seaplane. Despite landing around 11 am and reaching the lounge by 12:30, we waited for another group to fill the 15-seat plane, eventually departing at 3:45 pm. However, the flight over the stunning atolls was worth it. Exhausted, we arrived at the jetty to music, dancers, and a warm welcome. We were transported to reception, greeted by helpful staff, champagne, and ice-cold towels, where we met our butler Jaube—and the long-awaited Kosala. Our must-have list included an adult-only setting. While this resort isn’t fully adult-only, the ocean suites cater exclusively to guests aged 12+, striking a near-perfect balance. We were welcomed by Jaube, who set up a WhatsApp group, quickly resolved luggage concerns (ours arrived separately on two planes), and took us to ocean suite 712. Seeing the villa left us speechless—it exceeded all expectations. Spacious and beautifully designed, it featured a downstairs single bed for Mom, a stunning glass window to view fish, a well-stocked minibar, and delicious pink champagne on arrival. The luxurious bath offered ocean views, and the upstairs room boasted a massive bed and bathroom with scenic vistas. Universal plug sockets, ample storage, and thoughtful extras enhanced convenience throughout. Our villa was impeccably maintained by Rifau. Daily cleaning refreshed wine, treats, and amenities. Plug adapters weren’t needed, USB chargers were plentiful, and upstairs even housed an extra fridge—a delightful discovery on the last day. We sampled all dining options, starting with Ginifati, the seafood restaurant. While nice, we didn’t return because Mum and I weren’t fans of seafood; adding a meat option would’ve been ideal. Ralu impressed with a mix of buffet and à la carte options—perfect for our food preferences. Especially memorable was lady chef Artini’s exquisitely presented dishes, consistently delicious despite busy times, served punctually by our favorite waiter, AJ. However, Baani was unparalleled. Exclusive to ocean suite guests, this restaurant delivered Michelin-worthy meals with Chef Chaminder leading the charge. Daily menu changes kept dining exciting, featuring duck, scallops, steak, and lobster tails. Beyond the main dishes, breads, dips, soups, and sorbets added thoughtful touches. Each meal was a masterpiece, the staff incredibly welcoming. Mani, Isla, Deepa, and Muna stood out with their attentive service, making every meal special. Breakfast at Baani and Ranba offered excellent choices, though Baani’s fried potatoes and pastries stole the show. Room service quality was equally impressive. The adult-only infinity pool and family pool were tranquil, with no loud distractions—a big relief! Poolside snacks were addictive (pizza and chips), and staff like Dino and Nishi were wonderfully attentive. Activities were minimal, aligning with the resort’s chill ambiance, but paddleball and the wine journey with Noel added variety. While the wine journey could expand to feature more varieties, it provided an engaging hour. The resort excels in luxurious details, like handmade mosaics, custom crockery, and an extensive wine menu. High-quality all-inclusive alcohol rounded out the exceptional experience. Beautiful weather during Easter (29th March–10th April) graced our stay with rare night showers and sunny days. Our suite offered breathtaking sunsets, and the pool’s temperature was ideal. Included excursions like the sunset cruise and dolphin cruise were highlights; spotting white dolphins was unforgettable. Night fishing provided laughs despite no catches, and the management cocktail event was superb. Kosala’s leadership and hospitality, along with General Manager Upul’s personal touch, illustrate unmatched staff dedication across all levels. From start to finish, this holiday redefined perfection—a seamless blend of luxury, service, and unforgettable experiences.

This resort offers a beautiful sea suite that is spacious and well-equipped. The infinity pool facing the ocean is particularly impressive. The trip was made even better thanks to Kunal's attentive and excellent service. Special mention goes to the F&B team, as all the restaurants and bars have unique concepts, and the food is outstanding. There’s a wide variety of wine available, with the bottomless Taittinger being a highlight. The white sandy beach and beautiful pools add to the experience. Although we didn’t try the many activities offered, this resort is likely the best choice in Maldives at this price point.

We never imagined that a vacation in the Maldives could be this perfect until we arrived at Heritance Aarah. This is not just a hotel—it's a universe of carefree happiness! The private pool villa was like our personal resort. We stayed in a spacious villa with its own pool, and in my opinion, villas 126-135 offer the best sea access, stunning views, and convenient proximity to key restaurants, bars, the kids' club, and sports activities. Food was a culinary extravaganza. Everything was delicious, and you could ask to tweak dishes according to your preferences or even request something special to be prepared. The service deserves special recognition. The staff here work with an incredible level of dedication, and we are particularly grateful to our butler, Kunal! He made our stay magical—upon arrival, he had already booked restaurant visits for every evening and organized excursions. All we needed to do was refine and confirm. Kelly and I had an incredibly relaxing time at Heritance, and our personal assistant Kunal truly made the experience unforgettable. The range of restaurants and activities was outstanding, though we mostly treated Baani like our own private 5-star dining spot. Nikita and the team ensured every meal was exceptional. We also earned our PADI open water diver certification, completing the course and enjoying five fantastic dives in the stunning Maldivian waters. Toddy and the boat crew went above and beyond to guarantee an amazing diving experience and even seemed to arrange perfect weather for us. After reviewing countless resort options in the Maldives, we decided on Heritance, hoping not to be disappointed given the significant investment—and we weren’t! This experience will stay with us forever. We spent several nights in the Ocean Suite, which granted exclusive access to the most stunning infinity pool I've ever seen. The pool featured a bar where our friend Chameera provided exceptional service. There was also a luxurious restaurant exclusively for Suite guests, offering not only breathtaking sea views and top-notch hospitality but gourmet dishes truly worthy of a Michelin star. Later, we downgraded to a Beach Villa right by the shoreline. This villa was equally beautiful, with an incredible room and bathroom. The resort also featured numerous restaurants, all offering delicious food. Overall, this resort exceeded all our expectations.

I must say, our biggest fear when choosing the hotel to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary was that it might disappoint us upon arrival. But I can confidently say that every euro we spent was, by far, one of the best investments of our lives. We stayed three nights in the Ocean Ville and one night in the Beach Ville, and believe me, paradise on earth exists—we experienced it thanks to the wonderful staff at this hotel. Having Chameera’s attentive care at the infinity pool was incredible. We felt better than at home, truly, because they make you feel better than at home. The only fear you’re left with is not wanting to leave. Special mention goes to the quality of the food—something as simple as preparing and serving an omelet became a fantastic experience. Thanks to our butler, Saurav, who paid meticulous attention to every detail to make our stay unforgettable. The staff at the Bani restaurant, you are exceptional. Thank you for your unmatched hospitality. You’ve given us memories we’ll never forget. The food, the coral, the rooms, the beach—everything here is perfect.
